Ms. Gloria and her team were superb. The caretaker assisted us in booking our Oslob tour and even accompanied us during the whale shark experience. We truly appreciated the exceptional assistance and hospitality extended to us throughout our stay.

The room we booked was not the room that was provided upon arrival. We were informed that they were fully booked, so they offered us a different room instead, which felt more like an old house than the accommodation we had reserved. It was far from what was advertised and what we expected. The water pressure was very weak, and there was no water supply at all after 9:00 PM, which was extremely inconvenient. Tip for future guests: Make sure to confirm the exact room you will be getting before your stay. Otherwise, you may end up in a mediocre room that does not match the listing or your expectations.

- beach front isn't well-maintained so many trash in front of the house/beach, trash like used diaper, not theirs but must have been washed by the waters. Still, if you're offering a place for people to stay in, it's only right to maintain the beach front if you're listing it as part of the 'pros' of your place. Otherwise, just state that you are only offering a room because that's what's maintained. - small room, if you love more space in your room, this place ain't it - not their fault but neighbor man is noisy AF, wanted to relax on the balcony but I can't because all I hear is cringey Filipino drama/karaoke which was LOUD - Gloria and whoever was answering our inquiries need to amplify their comm skills/hospitality efforts 1. I find it hilarious that Gloria gave us beddings when we arrived (bedsheets, pillow cases), which means we have to put them on on the beddings ourselves. This is the first time I've experienced such. Like, even if it's a homestay, the guests shouldn't be the one preparing the beddings 2. I asked for direction going to the place like any landmark, and the person responded with Google Map, which is ok but my main concern is sometimes data is unreliable especially if you're in a vehicle. That person went on telling me to buy load for data, which is not even my main concern. The palce btw is minutes away from 7 Eleven Oslob. You may stop by at 7 Eleven and asked the drivers. The know the place. 3. Gloria's idk, not saying she's bad, but as a homestay owner, meh. Not even showing us like the place properly, or simple offer like what do we need or you know hospitality matters. - For the price, it's overall ok, but definitely not a place I would go or recommend. I've been all around Cebu, and for such price, other accomodation often comes with free breakfast.

It's clean, nice ocean view and has privacy. Gloria is a wonderful lady and her 2 dogs are just so cute. I love this place, will definitely stay here again in my next trip.

There was some mix up with the room arrangement. I initially booked a queen bedroom, but when I arrived apparently there was a double booking, luckily they still had a family room so I was upgraded. But because of this family room, I was bitten by bed bugs and it was quite serious, my whole body was full of it from arms legs and back. As a female with nice skin, this is very bad for me as bed bug bites could cause scars. Luckily i placed a clean towel over the pillow, otherwise my face could have it too. However, the owner was very sorry about this and even offered a whole bottle of anti-itch ointment for me.

Peu d’intimité. Les baies vitrées des chambres donnent sur la terrasse commune. La propriétaire, souriante et aimable, propose pour des déplacements ou sorties touristiques à des prix 2 à 3 fois plus chers que ceux pratiqués sur place… Le mot "money" est le maître mot des lieux…

Lovely room, literally on the water, I fell asleep to the sound of the sea! Good and very quiet aircon as well! Super central, very close to an absolutely delicious coffee spot! I only stayed one night due to the typhoon, but would have happily extended had I not already made other plans!

Best location, I love that it has its own little private beach area. Ate Gloria is very accommodating to us. It's a little far from the whale shark watching site but Ate Gloria help us arrange transportation to get around. We only stayed for 1night but wished we could stay longer to enjoy Oslob and the private beachfront. I would recommend her property and would also come back if given a chance.

The family room is quaint, it just need a little bed side table or shelf to put our staff in ( for phones, keys, purse etc.) so it's not on all over the floor. The shower head needs to give a stronger water pressure during showers.

Toimiva jäähdytys. Noin 15-20min ajomatka scootterilla valashaita katsomaan. Ajomatkalla kelpo ravintola Felicita’s josta näkymät merelle.

Wifi ei toimi. Peitto skandinaaviseen makuun liian ohut.

Small bathroom

I really enjoyed my stay here. Gloria speaks excellent English, which made communication very easy and smooth. She is very kind, welcoming, and always being helpful. The backyard is beautiful and offers direct access to a clean beach with clear, beautiful water, which was definitely a highlight. Her two lovely dogs made the place feel even more warm and homely. The location is very convenient – only about 10 minutes walking distance to Gaisano Mall Oslob, with a department store and supermarket for daily needs. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. The accommodation is also well located for visiting Tumalog Waterfalls and Sumilon Island, making it a perfect base for exploring Oslob. Highly recommended for a relaxed and pleasant stay.

Siamo arrivati presso la struttura “Gloria’s Beach House” dopo circa tre ore di viaggio. L’orario di arrivo (ore 23:00) era stato comunicato e confermato al momento della prenotazione. Al nostro arrivo, l’host ci ha accolti in modo freddo e visibilmente infastidito. All’apertura della porta della camera, era immediatamente percepibile un forte odore di umidità e muffa. Le condizioni igienico-sanitarie dell’alloggio risultavano gravemente insufficienti e non conformi agli standard minimi di ospitalità. In particolare, il bagno presentava macchie marroni su wc, lavandino e doccia; all’interno della doccia era presente una saponetta già utilizzata con residui di peli; il lavandino risultava instabile; lo spazzolone del wc era visibilmente sporco. Dopo lo scarico, l’acqua del wc risultava di colore giallo/marrone. Nonostante le condizioni, dopo il viaggio è stato necessario utilizzare il bagno per esigenze primarie. Subito dopo aver constatato lo stato dell’alloggio, abbiamo lasciato la struttura e provveduto autonomamente a trovare una sistemazione alternativa, rinunciando di fatto al soggiorno già pagato. Il giorno successivo ho ricevuto un messaggio dall’host con tono arrogante e accusatorio, nel quale veniva messa in dubbio la veridicità delle nostre segnalazioni, contestando l’utilizzo del bagno e degli asciugamani. Preciso che l’alloggio era stato regolarmente pagato e che l’uso dei servizi igienici rientra nei diritti basilari dell’ospite. Allego documentazione fotografica a supporto di quanto descritto.

Excellent price .. just what we wanted for the short stay

Owner was Lovely Helped us with transportation and Tried to help us with the Whale sharks over the festive period. Nice place to sleep , Nice touch had two hammocks outside. And Paddle boards you can rent for 50 pesos. Very Nice Place to stay In oslob.

The property was perfectly located a few minute walk from town. The room is literally on the beach and you can hear the waves at night. I highly recommend coming here, the beds are comfortable, and there’s a motorcycle rental right across the street. Gloria is also very nice.

It was perfect

The property has a shared open space with hammocks and breeze from the sea which is lovely. Room is small but ok.

The place wasn't the cleanest with hair on towels and balls of hair in the shower. Also when we were out, someone / the landlady disabled the toilet flush and turned off the aircon presumably thinking we flushed too much and the aircon shouldn't be on whilst having a lunch for an hour across the road.

The beach

The owner and family is using the bar and barbecue area without considering quests privacy. It’s not a quest house, it’s a room in the owner house! We had to listen to owners family having dinner outside the room. There is no hot water in the bathroom, there was an unpleasant smell in the toilet during the night.

Our second home, if you are looking for a quiet and very relaxing hotel you must choose Gloria's beach house. The staff were very welcoming especially Nanay Gloria, she will treat you like family. Great location, beach are few steps away from the door of the room. A not so big hotel but a great place to stay. The room, facility and amenities were great. Highly recommended for family and friends.

I saw a beautiful sunrise at the beach, which is right outside my room.

It’s very homey. Like it was a second home to us. The place is also near the town center and along the road. In front of the place a motorbike rental where you can rent a motorbike to take you places in any area. It is very conveniently located. There’s a rooftop where you can relax with a view both sea and the mountain. We really had a great stay. I would highly recommend staying here.

I wish we could swim on the beach. Other than that, we loved the experience.

I like the view it’s just extraordinary the mountain is such mesmerizing. The room was so clean even the toilet is so spacious. We had an accommodating Ma’am Gloria at the beach house. She was very nice and Kuya driver as well. My birthday went memorable. It was just the one of my best experience so far.

Little private beach steps away from the room. The host was great and helpful. Provided more than we asked for. The upper flor has a beautiful view at the see AND the mountains. The bed was comfortable.
