Fred ist der beste Gastgeber den man sich vorstellen kann!

Die Zimmer sind eher hellhörig, daher hängt es stark von den anderen Gästen ab, wie gut man schlafen kann.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Fred war unglaublich gastfreundlich und hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Die Unterkunft hat uns richtig gut gefallen und war vor allem außergewöhnlich sauber. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Lovely accommodation near to the city, cheap and easy to use and Uber to get to any of the sights. Apartment was well set out with a basic kitchenette, able to prepare simple meals, huge fridge. The whole property is well designed and set out and great care is taken to keep everything looking that way. Cute little pool and lovely garden and outside furniture to relax outside. Great owner, friendly, helpful, great information given about where to eat and what to see and how to see it!

Absolutely nothing!!

De kamer was perfect voor met zijn 2en. Het fijne aan deze appartementen is dat je nog lekker op het dak terras in de avond kan zitten spelletjes spelen. Ipv als je in het centrum in een hotel zit heb je niet zo snel dat je nog van de avond zon kan genieten. Veder was het zwembad super schoon en de eigenaar was zo lief. Wij die op vakantie gingen als 2 meiden van 19 en 20 voelde ons super veilig en comfortabel. De eigenaar is er de heel dag aanwezig en houd er van om even met iedereen te kletsen. Vanaf Fred’s House is het 15 minuten met de Uber naar het centrum, super makkelijk. Mocht je op vakantie willen naar porto en ook willen genieten van de zon met een zwembad is dit echt een goede plek om naar toe te gaan.

Outstanding hospitality from Fred, the host, and nothing was too much trouble for him. He had a wealth of ideas for making the most of a short trip to Porto. Location is excellent - I mainly took Ubers to make journeys as it is so cheap and reliable, but public transport options are good too.

The shower in my room could have been a bit better, but it was minor overall.

Fred’s house was an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Porto. We really enjoyed getting back to Fred’s house after long days of sightseeing - the terrace was fabulous, and we had everything we needed there. Our room was very comfortable and clean. However, our stay would not have been the same without Fred’s hospitality. We enjoyed learning about Porto from Fred and tried many of Fred’s recommendations for sightseeing spots and food locations.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel ! Le logement était magnifique, très propre, confortable et parfaitement équipé. La piscine était un vrai plus et l’extérieur était très agréable pour se détendre. L’emplacement était idéal pour visiter Porto tout en profitant du calme. Le propriétaire était très accueillants, disponibles et très sympathiques. Nous recommandons cet hébergement et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Ein schönes kleines Zimmer in einer sehr gepflegten Wohnanlage mit sauberem und einladendem Pool. Eine Küche konnten wir mitnutzen. Für uns war hervorragend, dass wir in der Tiefgarage gegenüber einen Stellplatz fürs Auto angemieten konnten. Geschäfte und Metro sind wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Fred als Gastgeber ist außerordentlich nett und hilfsbereit - vielen Dank.

Das Allerbeste an der Unterkunft ist der wunderbare Gastgeber Fred. Nicht nur, dass er Deutsch, Englisch und ich glaube auch Französisch sehr gut spricht, er ist unglaublich freundlich und bemüht sich, seinen Gästen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen! So viel Herzlichkeit begegnet man selten!!! Die Unterkünfte hat er selbst gebaut und man sieht, dass er sehr viel Liebe reingesteckt hat. Tatsächlich ist das Erreichen der Innenstadt mit der U-Bahn überhaupt kein Problem, die Lage für eine City ist also wirklich super. Und man kann sich nach Feierabend auch mal in Freds Areal irgendwo auf eine Liege neben dem zugegeben, sehr winzigen Pool ausruhen, und hat damit mehr Freiheit als bei vielen anderen städtischen Unterkünften👍

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr herzlichem Host. Fred ist die Seele des Ganzen. Ich denke, die meisten kommen wegen ihm. Die Zimmer sind praktisch eingerichtet und alles ist vorhanden was man braucht. Das Bett war bequem.

Wer zentral wohnen möchte, sollte die Unterkunft nicht buchen. Zu Fuß kann man zur Innenstadt/Sehenswürdigkeiten nicht unterwegs sein. Ein Supermarkt ist fußläufig erreichbar und auch einige Restaurants.

Fred vous accueille les bras grands ouverts et est aux petits soins pour vous. On s’y sent en famille directement. Il est plein de bons conseils qui nous ont permis de passer un super séjour à Porto. Je vous le recommande chaudement.

The atmosphere that Fred and his wife have created. You feel like you a part of a great community with all the common space. Fabulous all round experience.

Tudo foi maravilhoso. O espaço, tanto interior como exterior, é muito bonito e acolhedor. O anfitrião e os funcionários são muito simpáticos e super prestáveis. Os estúdios são muito espaçosos e eficientes. Tudo muito limpo e arrumado. O alojamento está muito bem localizado.

Ich habe in den Bewertungen viel darüber gelesen, wie nett Fred ist, aber meine Erwartungen wurden noch einmal übertroffen. Er empfing uns sehr herzlich und bot uns ein kostenloses Upgrade auf zwei Zimmer an, ohne dass wir danach gefragt hatten. Außerdem war er bei jeder Frage hilfsbereit und konnte einige Probleme, die wir z. B. beim Buchen von Freizeitaktivitäten hatten, sofort lösen - teilweise sogar nach Mitternacht. Fred ist immer gut gelaunt und fürs Quatschen zu haben. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und wohnlich eingerichtet, Fred‘s House befindet sich zudem in einer super Lage. Ich würde mehr als 10 Punkte geben, wenn ich könnte! :)

Clean, quiet, amazing pool, great night view from pool, you have a bus to anywhere in the City and two metro stations very close. Market and amazing restaurants also nearby.

Staying at Fred's offers peace, comfort, safety, cleanliness, and most importantly, a smiling and kind owner who is always ready to help with anything, whether it's recommendations for good food, interesting sights, or directions. A friendly atmosphere prevails, order is maintained, and whatever a guest needs, Fred arranges it immediately. The service is truly perfect. Public transport is within walking distance, as are supermarkets, laundromats, restaurants, and cafes. I can only highly recommend staying at Fred's. ❤

Fred was so welcoming and attentive to his guests. We loved the 'culture' he creates with his guests...his helpful tips for day trips and places to eat were appreciated. A lovely break away and we loved Porto. Thank you Fred!

Excellent location, easily accessible from airport, can visit the coast, and town centre. All cheap in Ubers.

Lovely host, clean and cozy room, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Swimming pool is clean and cool, green area is fairly small but still suitable for yoga and even HIIT exercises. Fred went out of his way to help us and took care of all our requests and questions. Location is also great, supermarkets and restaurant nearby, city center and beach are like 15 min by car.

There is a construction nearby which made it a bit less enjoyable in the morning - not the hosts fault of course, but guests should be aware that it’s fairly loud throughout the day.

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar die er alles aan doet om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Hij is bereid bij alles te helpen. De accomodatie was zeer netjes met goede faciliteiten. Ik raad deze locatie aan iedereen aan.

The rooms are comfortable and clean and the property very well maintained. The small kitchen was very practical, equipped with a fridge and a coffee maker. The house is close to Metro line D and the city center is a short Uber ride away. The best part of our stay was without a doubt Fred. He is an absolute gem! Fred is very attentive, offers help and suggestions. He is a really nice guy. We recommend Fred's House 100%!

Our stay couldn't have been better! Depending on the weather and the time of day, sometimes it was difficult to find a place in the shade on the terrace.

Fred! Hij is de zeer gastvrije en ondernemende eigenaar, die alles op een zeer service gerichte manier doet om het je naar je zin te maken. De sfeer van het appartement is gemoedelijk, alles kan er, het is leuk ingericht en goed uitgerust, overal zijn lekkere zitjes waar je we of niet in de zon kan zitten en het kleine zwembad is heerlijk om even af te koelen.

Fred is een zeer gastvrije eigenaar, we kregen een warm ontvangst en veel tips. De kamer was netjes verzorgd en er was zelfs rituals! Het was een buitengewoon top verblijf tijdens onze dagen in Porto!!

Diese Unterkunft ist eine kleine Oase in der Stadt. Die Stimmung, wenn man das Tor öffnet ist ganz besonders. Ein Happy Place🧘🏻‍♀️ Bestens ausgestattet mit super Anbindung an die Metro ( grr er lebe Linie) - die einem im Nu an die besten Spots der Stadt bringt. Ansonsten ist man mit Zuber oder Bolt auch schnell überall. Fred ist super freundlich und teilt die besten Geheimtipps mit seinen Gästen. Er spricht fließend Deutsch aber auch Englisch. Der Preis ist unschlagbar.🫶🏻

Fred was absolutely delightful and a very informative and generous host. He presented as genuinely caring and gave our stay a very homely feel. The plunge pool was the perfect antidote for the Porto heat and the other facilities were all up to standard at the very least. Would definitely stay again!

The location was slightly inconvenient however never to a inhibiting degree.

Fabulous accommodation with everything you need, we had a lovely room with shared kitchen and dining area. The pool and lawn area are absolutely perfect for a relaxing stay. Fred the host is the absolute best, always attentive without being intrusive. Fluent in 6 languages (and learning a 7th). I cannot recommend Fred's Place highly enough it's definitely a 12 out of 10. We will be coming back.

Fred’s House A safe, calm, quiet place to stay in Porto This place is an oasis in Northern Porto. From the front you see a house, but when you enter the gate you find that you are in a completely different world. There are many apartments, all with their own cooking facilities. All doors lead towards a small pool, loungers, places to sit outside to eat and relax. The atmosphere here is one of being completely relaxed. Should you wish to travel, quite close by there is a Metro line which will take you straight into the centre of Porto. If you want food, there is a big supermarket just a few hundred metres away. The host is very welcoming and whilst you stay completely at your service. This is such a great place to stay. We would definitely come here again.

Everything. It was perfect. It was cosy, comfortable and clean. Both the indoor and outdoor facilities were amazing. I really felt at home here, and the staff here are great as well. 10/10 experience.
