Coco Grove Beach Resort, Siquijor Island

Lots of space to travel around the resort, beautiful ocean view. features billiards, gym, playscape for kids, and several pools which you can swim in. Breakfast was amazing, and we very much enjoyed our stay.

The lighting in our room flickered quite a bit, which can be an issue to those with light sensitivity. Also, the toilet in our room failed to fully flush, although we didn't address this with staff as we only stayed here for one night.

The beach is pristine. Right in front is the marine reserve.Amazing

The staff overall. From picking us up from the port to the hotel. How they welcome me and my baby. Until we went home, all the staff, like literally all of them are so nice and friendly.

I like everything. The staff. The place. The beach. The restos. The food. The ambiance. The quality service. I like them a lot.

Tout absolument tout le personnel, le service, l’accueil, les transports tout étaient plus cas la hauteur, sens parlé de la restauration qui est exceptionnelle chaque jour les repas sont succulentes. Bravo à vous je suis dessus de partir.

Замечательный отель! очень внимательный и дружелюбный персонал. Если написать в отель за пару дней до прибытия, то вам организуют бесплатный трансфер, очень удобно. Прекрасный пляж, коралловый риф подходит для снорклинга. Готовят в ресторанах вкусно. Нам понравилась и еда, и напитки ( есть крафтовое пиво , вкусные коктейли).Территория отеля очень зелёная, ухоженная. С удовольствием вернёмся в этот отель, но бронирование нужно делать очень заранее...

Nos encantó. El hotel es precioso, super selvático, piscinas geniales. Está delante de una playa chulisima. Se puede hacer snorkel delante, hay un santuario marino. Pero hay temporadas como la de lluvias que lo pueden cerrar varios días y no te permiten hacer snorkel.

En nuestros 5 días de estancia sólo pudimos hacer snorkel 1h. Todo el resto estuvo cerrado por viento y tuvimos que ir a otras zonas. Una pena porque una de las razones por las que seleccionamos el hotel fue esa y nos vamos con la sensación de no haber podido ver apenas el Tubod sanctuary.

The staff was phenomenal!

I had been wanting to stay here for years, and it didn’t disappoint! Such a beautiful, huge property. The staff everywhere were so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and everything worked perfectly. Great restaurants. We loved the architecture, the gardens, the private beachfront, and the four(!) swimming pools. We had an amazing time and will hopefully be back.

Beautiful beach location with snorkelling and diving straight off shore. Very helpful staff. A large resort with choices of restaurant and very nice breakfasts with healthy options. The dive shop was well managed and good dive master. Lovely view and very quiet at night in the sanctuary villa.

Initially my booking was a room that turned out to be in the back hotel part of the resort (above reception) - it was stuffy even with windows open (no ocean breeze as blocked by buildings). I had to pay double my original booking to move to an ocean front villa but it was worth the payment as very lovely in comparison.

The service was excellent. The BBQ night was a wonderful experience, and the customer assistance was incredibly helpful.

The bathroom water pressure was quite weak, and on one day there was no hot water.

The unit for my family a suite wasn't clean smell bad , tthere was problem in oilet after one night good they were moved to another unit. Other hotels would have given a discount. The unit was for 4 persons the reason I chose the unit because there are 4 in the family but I was charged extra for 2 children.

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Location of restaurants is excellent

Room 101 is in need of an overhaul.

It’s very peaceful, the staff is exceptional, food is delicious, perfect location, incredible beach!

They state snorkel equipment is free to use from the dive shop but charge you for using them anyway. Rooms could be use some maintenance and be touched up. There were lots of cracks on the walls, at least in the villa we stayed in this year.. while not deal breaking for the price you pay upkeep should be better

Everything was fantastic! Excellent location in front of the marine sanctuary. Food was delicious. Service was great. This was the 3rd time I stayed here. We will definitely come back again.

Er was veel te beleven, snorkelgebied met koralen, grill avond, dans show, dag naar Apo Island,… Groot resort met enkele zwembaden, veel toiletten (heel netjes) en de bar in het zwembad. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Zeer veel keuze om te eten.🌸🌸

De airco tijdens de dans show stond heel heftig. Er was net overgang naar slechter weer, van het snorkelen stond ik heel in uitslag vermoedelijk van zeeluizen of gellyfish.

Great rooms, great facilities, food was fantastic and the staff were awesome always smiling and always willing to help you…

Arrivées et départs cahotique. Rapport qualité prix de l’hebergement assez moyen avec une literie de piètre qualité et une insonorisation quasi nulle...

Very relaxing resort, very friendly and hospitable staff, and the transfer from the resort to Siquijor port and vice versa is very convenient. And they also do the check-in for you in Siquijor port terminal. Very good service.

It is an oasis in a stunning setting. The photos don’t do it justice. We had a beautiful bungalow for a family of four. Beautifully maintained grounds.

Everything.. the place, the beach, the staff and the food. What made me in awe was their staff knew who we are and remembered our names even on the first day despite that there were many guests in the resort. They were all very accommodating and most of all honest. I made an excess payment due to wrong total and they gave me the refund before we left for the Seaport. Keep it up!

Our stay at Coco Grove Resort was absolutely perfect. The beachfront setting is stunning, and the entire property is maintained to an exceptional standard—staff are constantly cleaning and even sweeping palm leaves from the sand, which says a lot about the pride they take in the resort. We loved that everything we needed was right on-site. With three excellent restaurants, we ended up enjoying every meal at the resort because we simply didn’t want to leave. One highlight of our stay was a full-day coastal tour around Siquijor arranged through the resort. Our driver and guide, Felmor, was outstanding—knowledgeable, funny, and very flexible. Since it was a private tour, he allowed us to customize our route, and we especially enjoyed sharing lunch and coffee with him while learning more about Filipino culture. Cambugahay Falls was a standout stop, and we had a great time exploring the three-tiered pools (including the famous rope swing!). What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. A special thank you to Honey in the restaurant and Christy at the front desk for making our stay even more memorable. We were also impressed that staff remembered and greeted us by name throughout our visit. We stayed for six nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely be back.

Food poisoning During my stay, I unfortunately suffered serious food poisoning after visiting restaurant Salamandas. I was unable to leave the resort for four days and spent the entire night vomiting, which had a major impact on my holiday. It was also disappointing that the manager of the restaurant stated that, in his view, nothing on their side was to blame. There was no form of compensation offered in any way, which was highly disappointing. It also felt as though my food poisoning was not taken seriously. This is not what you would expect from a five-star resort of this standard. Highly disappointing. That said, the rest of the stay was very pleasant. The other staff members were friendly, helpful, and contributed to an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Toller Strand mit schönem Riff. Insgesamt verteilt sich alles gut über die beiden Hotelbereiche. Sehr gutes Essen und gute Auswahl an Getränken. Das Temple Spa ist klasse!

Zimmer gut in die Jahre gekommen. Gym hat merkwürdige Öffnungszeiten (6-10 und 16-20 Uhr). Roller Vermietung sehr teuer im Vergleich zu den sonstigen Preisen.

Rooms hot and food not a whole lot of choices

Awesome location right on the beach, swimming everyday with turtles, or lounging reading a book in the sun. Different menus at the 3 restaurants gave us a good selection of food. It covers a large area so you never feel like it busy even though fully booked. Dive centre was awesome, friendly staff and always felt very safe diving with them.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Badewanne ist sinnlos, weil Wasser viel zu langsam einläuft.

It was right along the gorgeous beach and the sanctuary. The staff were amazing, food was very good.

There were a lot of insects at night that entered or trying to enter my room. There were millipedes on the floor and beetles trying to go in the door.

The location was just gorgeous, private beach, lots of pools and restaurants. The snorkelling was great, with lots of different fish. The sunsets were dreamy and the staff were very friendly. Best of all it wasn’t overcrowded and wasn’t noisy. The massages were amazing.

Breakfast was ok but not great. Great location nice coral just off the coast. Resort was great value for food and drinks. Restaurant food was good.

Staff in restaurants not very attentive. Trips not very well organized - over Easter many of the sites on the tour were closed and we weren’t given any notice. Also not enough scuba guides - didn’t feel very safe.

Einzigartige Lage direkt am wunderschönen Stand mit eigenen Riff zum Schnorcheln. Super leckere Restaurants direkt am Strand mit sehr nettem Personal - sehr zuvorkommend mit super Englisch - tolle Anlage!

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gut erhalten, sollten jedoch mal modernisiert werden. Leider wenig Auswahl an vegetarischen Speisen und recht teure Getränke.

Pokoje dość stare, chwilami też był problem z internetem w pokoju więc jeśli ktoś przyjeżdża pracować zdalnie może być różnie.

Mooi, wat gedateerd, hotel. Prachtig gelegen aan een langgerekt privé strand. Meerdere zwembaden, barretjes en ontbijtlokaties. Kamer was ruim en schoon. Regendouche ook. Ontbijt was ok, maar niet geweldig. 1 x gedineerd op het strand en dit wat gewoon goed. Lokatie is wat buiten het ‘centrum’. Een scooter of tuctuc is dus wel gewenst. Bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Geweldig complex. Daardoor valt het matige ontbijt nogal uit de toon. Een aandachtspuntje.

Chambre vieillissante.vue de notre chambre au 1er étage de la réception pas top (213). Gros complexe, personnel pas toujours très agréable. Petit dej basique , bacon et jambon trop cuit .

Wunderschönes Resort mit super Service. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Fantastisch sind auch die SPA Anwendungen!

L'atmosfera è unica. La struttura è immersa nel verde e i ristoranti in riva al mare sono molto romantici. Tutto molto rilassante e rigenerante

the staffs (one of them is Jeann whos doin her OJT) who served us our meal were all polite, warm, and communication to them cheers me up, their beautiful smile and giggles. we enjoyed the snorkelling site, a lot to see, the food, fresh fruit juice, coffee and hot chocolate all good! 😊

the room needs improvement, the toilet is not flushing well, one of the window was scared to open cause its broken
