We stayed in the hut and it’s a bit hot. But so far everything’s great.

L'emplacement est formidable. Il faut quand même marcher 10 minutes pour la descente. La remontée est très dure avec les baggages... Si vous n'êtes pas en forme il faut anticiper un service avec l'hôtel. La chambre était assez grande et la salle de bain même si simple était pratique. La nourriture est très bonne.

Le ménage pourrait être mieux fait... Si vous êtes regardant comme moi prévoyez des lingettes pour nettoyer. Il y a des toiles et des araignées au plafond... L'eau est trop chère et payante.... 80 php la bouteille. Le double de l'ensemble des autres commerces en Asie.

The staff were polite enough but not receptive or sociable to talk to guests. I guess because they were all young running the place the time we were there. The warmth hospitality was missing. We had a power outage the whole time we were there so it was a bit inconvenient but overall not a big deal.

La chambre était absolument incroyable, une vue du lit à couper le souffle et la possibilité de manger sur place de très bon plat ! Nous avons effectué un trek avec Jerry jusqu’au high viewpoint de Batad et les Tappiyah Waterfalls c’était superbe je recommande !

Nous avions un peu l’impression de déranger le personnel, la wifi a un peu bug nous avons payé pour 24h nous n’avons pu l’utiliser que 8h.

バダットで1番高い位置に建つホテル。バイシクルを降りてから徒歩15分程度。 部屋からもレストランからも眺めは最高。 シャワートイレ付きの部屋をお勧めします。湯量は少なめだがちゃんとお湯も出た。 レストランのご飯は観光地価格だがおいしかった。メニューと時間を指定しておくと待つことがない。

不自由はなかったが、たまたまWi-Fiが故障していたため、通信したのが2泊中3時間程度。 自然の中なので仕方がないと諦めはついたが、覚悟しておいた方が良い。

Assez loin de Banaue (1h en tuktuk) puis il faut marcher 20min. Donc il faut ne pas venir charger.

Tout s'est bien passé lors de mon séjour : chambre propre, lit confortable, salle de bain propre avec douche chaude, repas très bons, personnel très gentil et vue magnifique ! Il y avait une connexion Wi-Fi payante qui fonctionnait bien (0 réseau dans Batad). J'ai aussi pris un massage qui était excellent.

Vue fantastique qui domine l'amphithéâtre de riziere de Batad. Nous avons été loges dans un cabanon imitant les tentes Ifugao mais qui, somme toute, était assez confortable. Personnel très prévenant et disponible. La randonnée dans les rizières avec lzs didferebts guides et la prise en charge des transports très bien organisée

La qualité du restaurant horrible. Pas d'eau chaude pour les douches le deuxième jour mais vu l'isolement du village, on excuse ce désagrément 😀

Great location in the upper Batad village, close to the jump-off point, with breathtaking views of the Batad rice terraces. The staff are super friendly and kind. Everything was clean. The food was very tasty, and the generous supply of San Miguel was the cherry on top. 😊 We highly recommend this accommodation (especially the traditional hut) - eleven out of ten! 😊

Wir waren drei Nächte im Roberto’s Abung-Batad Guesthouse in Batad und können diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen. Schon die Anreise war ein Erlebnis: In Banaue wurden wir direkt am Bus von Don Don abgeholt, der sich anschließend die gesamten drei Tage liebevoll um uns gekümmert hat und unser persönlicher Guide war. Das können wir wirklich jedem empfehlen – am besten vorab direkt mit dem Guesthouse absprechen. Von Banaue fährt man etwa eine Stunde mit dem Tricycle über Stock und Stein, anschließend geht es noch ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß ins Dorf. Mit einem Trolley ist das nicht machbar – Backpack ist definitiv die beste Wahl. Falls man mit einem großen Koffer/Trolley anreist, bekommt man aber eine super Lösung angeboten: Man kann seine Sachen für die nächsten Tage in einen kleinen Rucksack umpacken und der große Koffer wird in einem Guesthouse der Schwester in Banaue sicher zwischengeparkt – genau so haben wir es auch gemacht. Sehr unkompliziert und perfekt organisiert. Don Don hat sich in dieser Zeit rührend um uns gekümmert und alles bestens koordiniert. Wir hatten ein kleines, gemütliches Zimmer mit geteiltem Badezimmer mit dem Nachbarzimmer. Oben im Restaurant hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick über die Reisterrassen – einfach wunderschön. Das Frühstück war super, ebenso das Abendessen – frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Aber manchmal gibt es auch Speisen oder Lebensmittel einfach mal nicht auf Grund der Angeschiedenheit. Aber das sollte auch kein Problem sein. Wichtig zu wissen: Es gibt dort kein klassisches Internet und im gesamten Ort auch kein Mobilfunknetz. Man kann jedoch Gutscheincodes für Internetzugang kaufen, die wirklich nur ein paar Peso kosten, falls man online gehen möchte. Man ist also auf diese Codes angewiesen – aber das ist absolut kein Drama und gehört irgendwie zum Erlebnis dazu. 😊 Ein besonderes Highlight: Abends kann man Massagen buchen. Frauen aus dem Dorf kommen direkt ins Guesthouse und bieten diese an – eine tolle Erfahrung.

Une des deux femmes de l'accueil démontrait clairement qu'elle n'aimait pas son travail ou les gens en général. La seconde personne par contre était très aimable et conciliante (je pense la responsable) Nombreuses choses manquantes sur le menu, mais nous le comprenons en étant un peu hors saison. Coupure d'électricité très fréquente (qui mets hors service l'eau chaude et le wifi qui est payant et non remboursé) Rapport qualité prix des repas pris sur place (petit déjeuner et diner) très moyen, il s'agissait du début de notre séjour, et pour ce qui se fait partout ailleurs, les quantités et qualité des plats n'étaient pas au rendez vous.

La vue est chouette évidemment. La nourriture est très correcte vu l'emplacement compliqué. Le massage qu'on peut acheter est l'un des meilleurs que j'ai reçus.

Le manque de communication avant l'arrivée est un peu embêtant (il est vrai limité de leur part par le peu d'internet/électricité). Le tour qui est proposé est assez cher (je l'ai eu pour 7500 pour 2 jours) et on se sent évidemment un peu prisonnier de prendre ce choix quand on arrive à 4h du matin et qu'il faut aller jusqu'à ce site. Par ailleurs, les champs de riz ont été un peu détruits par le dernier typhon ce qui a laissé des marques un peu laides sur le paysage (mais évidemment ce n'est pas de leur faute). Aussi, de plus en plus de terrasses sont abandonnées, ce qui diminue l'impression de majesté des différents sites.

Sanitaire voorzieningen zijn voldoende maar zouden wat beter kunnen.

L’unico disagio è stato che la corrente elettrica era disponibile solo per 4/5 ore… ma dopo aver subito un tifone è un dettaglio irrilevante.

The property is at an excellent location: rice terraces are just above the hill. The owner sent a guide to meet me at the bus station. The local guide - Dhone Lopez (this is his Facebook page as well) - was one of the best during an entire Philippine trip. I really appreciate Dhone's help and honesty.

If you have luggage to carry, be ready to really carry it!

The light in the room is strong and could be arranged better but it is fine for one night. Be careful, the access to the hotel is not easy if you have many luggages. It takes 15 minutes from the parking to reach the hotel but once you arrive the view is amazing. Food is tasty. Friendly and helpful staff.

Location and accomodating staff

I spent a 2nd night in the establishment in this room (because the room with the view / balcony and private bathroom was unavailable). It was quite small and dark, but overall ok and clean, with very needed fan to be able to sleep with the heat of that time of the year. The shared bathroom is right next door, with the shower and WC both in. However, if the other room is available, for the price difference, I’d recommend to book the other one. The team was adorable, they really tried to help me as my shoes were losing their soles, they spent a whole evening glueing them and was a great temporary fix to go through the 2nd day of trekking!

The shared WC deserves some renovation and the shower although quite clean, could deserve some water cleaning during the day to get rid of the shoes marks around.

The most beautiful view on Batad Rice terrasses, thanks to a wide roof to floor window 🤩 I had changed my booking specifically to have this room, that was great with the balcony and the private bathroom. Equipment is very basic, but enough for the place. I enjoyed the little balcony to get some air. Room 1 was quite warm after a sunny day, so the fan was definitely needed to sleep. Food was good and very affordable.

Water pressure is very low, but nothing the establishment can really do about it. Would have appreciated some fruit options for meals.

I’m not a picky person usually but this is definitely not great value for money I paid. The only thing you pay for is the view I guess. Basic room, not really clean (dirty floor and loads of dead insects). No toilet paper, no hand soup, I had to ask to get it. Shower water pressure doesn’t exist, it took me ages to take an actual shower. Nothing’s included there. You have to pay extra for water, WiFi, etc. I stayed 3 nights and nobody checked my room even once. Staff doesn’t seem to actually care about anything. I’m really sorry but to get better reviews you have to offer something more than just a view. Definitely not worth £70 I paid for my 3 nights stay in the Deluxe Room with balcony. Would not book again for this price.

The most spectacular view in Batad. This place is clean and comfortable, well taken care of, unlike some other places here. The food is excellent! Highly recommended.

Roberto's has the most stunning view of the ricefields. The room is basic but comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the food is delicious! Would certainly recommend staying here!

The location is very good. The view of the rice terraces from our hotel room is excellent. The property is only one year old and everything looks modern and nice.

You have to walk 20 to 30 minutes from the end of the road where our car is parked to reach the hotel and it is very difficult for seniors like myself and my wife since part of the terrain is challenging. You also have to hire porters to carry your bags to the hotel.

Loved the big windows that allowed us to view the magnificent rice terraces from our room and the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable.

The internet which we had to pay far wasn’t always stable but this has nothing to do with the property since this is common everywhere in Batad.

The staff were accommodating and they have an eatery there. We had dietary requirements (vegan and gluten-free) and they accommodated them (you just need to let them know what you can and cannot have as they are unfamiliar with vegan and GF).

The water pressure in the shower and toilet was low. It takes 10 to 15 minute hike from the road to the accommodation. This can be very difficult if you have heavy luggage and unfit.

The location is excellent near the Batad Village. We have seen the Batad Rice Terraces from the Inn, and the scenery of the mountain and the terraces is spectacular. Mr Ulysses was been so helpful he arranged our tour and transport it was a very smooth transaction, Mr Robert our driver wowed us with his driving skills through the mountains, he always stopped at all the viewpoints of the terraces and the mountains. In addition, Ryan our lovely tour guide was been so amazing throughout our stay in the Inn, he immersed us through his amazing culture and ways of living in the mountain. Ryan helped our friend throughout the trekking and with lots of narrowed pathways/steps he guided her made her reassured that she would be safe. The girls in the Inn were all lovely, preparing our food and attending to our needs during our stay. Overall, highly recommended would be happy to come back again in the future.

We would suggest having handrails on the stairs going up the main restaurant as if it is rainy and wet it is a hazardous step up, the room we stayed in the bed was very comfy would be nice to have a bedside table and light, cabinets to put our staff. However, the overall stay was excellent!!

Perfect situaited location with a breathtakeable view. It is not in the middle of the ricefields. That makes it much easyier handeling the luggage ! all the way back to the road where the tryciycles wait to bring you to your next destination. Rose, Anna and the rest of the team were lovely, helpful and the dishes are cooked everyday fresh. warm water: yes Tower for the shower: yes good situaited for sightseeing.

We were blown away by the view from our room at Batad Roberto's Agung Inn and Restaurant! Waking up to those incredible rice terraces right outside our window was pure magic. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and super comfy – a perfect retreat after a day of hiking. And the staff? They were absolutely lovely, always smiling and happy to help. It felt like we were staying with friends, not just at a hotel. If you're looking for a place to truly relax and soak in the beauty of Batad, this is it!

Best location with overlooking view of the Batad Rice terraces in your bedroom and dining area. Really recommend this inn if you want to rest for a bit, bask in the view with local coffee brew before the actual hike and descent to the main village and Tappiya falls. Thanks to our guide Kuya Dave for being patient with us and helping our 84 yr old grandma finish the hike. Thanks as well to the staff, Ms. Kim, Roxanne and her mother, for preparing our food, especially the curry, chopsuey, and chicken tinola! Also gave us more shampoo when we ran out. Sir Ulysses’ and family kept us company on our last night. The inn also offer massages which is a must try if you’re a massage enthusiast. Their techniques are really different compared to city massage therapists.

Avoid letting the bugs in your room by making sure the windows are closed before nighttime. Toilet seat could also use some fixing.
