The apartment was nice and convenient. Although it is a basement apt, there are windows and ample light. The kitchen and living room area are open and spacious. The beds and pillows were very comfortable to us. The bathroom was a nice size, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. It was a bonus to have a washer & dryer in the apt. We did not cook during our stay, however, the kitchen seemed well stocked. There is a grocery store about a 5-minute walk away and we did purchase instant coffee, tea, pastries and fruit for breakfast, as well as, cheese and crackers and other snacks. Notes for those considering staying here / visiting Tromso. The approx 8-10 stairs when you enter the apartment are a little steep. No problem for us, but if you have trouble with stairs, it may not be optimal for you. The closest bus stop from the airport is the Polaris stop about a 3-block walk uphill. Easy to navigate, but if your not comfortable walking uphill while toting luggage, maybe Uber or taxi would be the better option for you. TV consists of 3-4 local channels and you can login to your streaming services (Netflix, etc.) We weren't there to watch TV, but did attempt to catch world news. There is no tea kettle, but we used a small pot to boil water and make tea and instant coffee - super easy. There is a Nespresso or Keurig coffee machine (can't remember which), but we didn't see the need to purchase pods. There is a hair dryer provided. They do not provide shampoo, conditioner or body soap, but we weren't expecting it to be provided and always travel with our own. You can purchase a 24 hr or multi-day bus pass and travel all over Tromso. Dinner or Lunch Out - make reservations in advance. Many of the restaurants are small and quaint with limited seating. If you wish to dine out, don't wait until you arrive to make your reservations.

Nothing - we would definitely stay here again. Our weather was blah a few days, but that's on Mother Nature.

The location was perfect. The apartment is big and very warm. The house is very beautiful and the landlords are very nice. Nice big TV and sofa. Beds are very comfortable. Very specious bathroom with washing machine (which we did not use as only for a couple of days).I would definitely recommend the apartment.

The Kitchen has a dishwasher but no washing liquid so we could clean the dishes after breakfast. The most disappointing there was no kettle ( we have to boil water in the pot) and no toaster in the kitchen. In the bathroom only soup on the sink but no shower gel and no shampoo at all. . Also not enough toilet paper for 4 people .

Beautiful property, good location!

Heating was not working upon arrival. It took a while before the heat could be felt. Additionally, the heating did not work in the bathroom & the second bedroom. The owners could fix the bathroom but in the second bedroom an additional heater had to be put which led to frequent power outages...

We couldn’t have asked for anything better, honestly can’t fault the property at all - this was easily the best place we have stayed. The apartment was amazing, perfect location, very clean, great size, it had everything. Felt like our own little home for a few days, which was so cosy. We will definitely be staying here again if we ever come back to Tromsø!
