It’s in a quiet location, and has many facilities for children. Rooms are comfortable, staff are helpful and friendly and bikes are available to cycle around the country side and visit Phe Samout about 1k away.

A little out of the city

We loved our stay here! We are a family of four, traveling with a 3-year-old and an infant, and the staff were wonderful. A special thank you to Pan at reception, who genuinely helped us from the bottom of her heart with every request and made our stay much easier. Both pools were amazing. The rooftop pool has a beautiful view over the lake, while the main pool has a great slide that our 3-year-old absolutely loved! There were also plenty of activities for families. We played mini golf together, took a paddle boat on the lake, and visited the park they built on the property. Our child still spent most of the time asking to go back to the pool though! 😄 Most of the staff speak English, which made communication easy throughout our stay.

The location can be a little tricky if you're traveling with a lot of luggage. For example, we weren't able to find a suitable car through Grab. Luckily, Pan at reception helped us find alternatives, and in the end we took two tuk-tuks - one for us and one for our luggage - which worked well. The breakfast was good, with a cooking station where they could prepare fresh omelets and noodle soup. However, I think there is still some room for improvement. It would be great to have proper complimentary coffee options such as cappuccino or latte, as well as a few more breakfast treats such as pancakes or other desserts.

מלון מצויין למשפחות עם ילדים, יש המון המון פעילויות- בריכה עם מגלשה קטנה, כדורסל, כדורגל, טניס, מיני גולף, פינת חי קטנה, סנוקר , כדורעף. המלון נמצא על נהר ויש גם קיאקים לשימוש. ניתן להתנייד במלון עם אופניים, יש מבחר גדול לכל הגילאים. הצוות מעולה, מאוד נחמד ועוזר בכל מה שמבקשים. לבת שלי הייתה יומהולדת והם עזרו לי להזמין לה עוגה, והכינו לה במסעדה פינה עם בלונים, זה היה מהמם. היינו 5 בחדר שזה נוח, הוסיפו לנו מיטה.

המיקום - מאוד רחוק מהמרכז של קמפוט, נסיעה של כ15-20 דקות בטוקטוק. האופניים לא מספיק מתוחזקות.

Since the property is far from Centre and groceries, I wish the hotel could offer room service to be late, especially when it comes to drinks.

There were fantastic details - the garden, the range of bikes and recreation items for all ages that made it so fun, ESPECIALLY the pool and mini water park, so nice! Rooms were cute and clean, quiet and comfortable, situated so you can enjoy the sunset. People were all very friendly

Hmn, pretty far from everything and the cost was pretty high. We were situated between multiple mosques, perhaps 4 simultaneous worship services, not too disruptive, but also not great if you like to sleep in. The first day's breakfast was amazing, but the next day, with fewer guests, very few items out or available. The cost was very high compared to elsewhere in the country.

het resort is nog vrij nieuw, leuke voorzieningen te plaatste (kano, fietsen, zwembad.....). De kamers waren erg proper en ruim genoeg. De medewerkers waren allemaal heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De ligging maakt dat je zeer snel tussen de zoutpannen en de rijstvelden zit

Je moet er rekening mee houden dat dit resort iets buiten het centrum van Kampot ligt, om naar de stad te gaan heb je steeds een tuk tuk nodig

There were lots of activities and attractions for the little ones, plus plenty to explore right within the resort. Staff were friendly and ready to help always .

The food we ordered was alright, but breakfast didn’t get refilled and wasn’t quite up to par, especially since there weren’t many choices. That was a bit of a letdown.

This is the most fun we've had at any resort! We stayed at Komsan Kampot Resort for 2 nights as a family. 2 adults and 1 child (7 years old) in the cockle building. Cockle is close to the pool and restaurant.. Junior family twin balcony. 1 twin bed/1 king bed. They provide transportation around the facilities upon request or you can take one of the many bicycles/scooters available for use. First, the staff is incredible. From check-in to restaurant to room cleaning, everything was truly 5 stars. How convenient to text them if we need anything or even for room service. They also deliver food/drink anywhere on the grounds. So convenient! They also decorated our room for my husbands birthday and it was absolutely beautiful! Complete with a lovely hand written card 🥹 Grounds: It's so family friendly. There are games on every corner. Mini golf, mini billiards, regular billiards, foosball, under the table soccer, checkers/chess, basketball, volleyball, badminton, fishing rods, kayaks, paddleboat on the small lake near restaurant, 2 playgrounds, large pool, kids pool, huge splash pad, jacuzzis in large pool, large slide, a larger pool on top of the restaurant, dry sauna, steam rooms, bicycles of all kinds, scooters, toys...I mean absolutely everything! I'm sure I even forgot some things 😂 everytime we turned a corner somewhere there was a fun game to do! There are two sections. One with most of the resort and games and another one on the big river across a small road. Beautiful seating and swinging spots, heart shaped benches, basketball, kayaks, chickens running around. The sun sets on this side and it's gorgeous. Perfect for a large gathering by the river. They have some animals in a few places, we saw peacocks walking around too! The room was spotless and the beds were so soft and comfortable. Cleaning staff is great. The entire grounds are very clean and bright. A lot of trees being planted. They even identify the types.

Something to add: -it would be nice to add a mini mart or have some snacks for sale like chips/candy/chocolate. -for the cockle rooms with the open jacuzzi on the patio, a privacy screen would be nice until the plants grow in on the roadside. A little bamboo wall between the road and balcony or even some extra potted plants or something for a little more cover on that side. -a small wooden drying rack would be fantastic on the balcony to dry clothes after swimming These are all small suggestions 😊 I'd like to add: Komsan is a true resort. I have traveled a lot and many resorts label themselves resorts when they are simply a hotel with a pool. Komsan is the true standard for a resort. Offering plenty of activities, delicious food, and a very comfortable and clean environment with immaculate service. The employees are SO wonderful. They truly made our stay perfect. I wish the owners and all of the fantastic employees great success 💜🙏

It is not in the centre, approx. 5km from the city centre, 10-15 minutes by car/Tuk Tuk/motorbike. Having said that it is in a quiet, nature setting (rice fields, river, mountains)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at our resort in Kampot. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful location and the serene surroundings. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind, away from the rush of everyday life.

While we appreciated that bicycles were provided to help guests get around, they were in need of serious maintenance and there were not enough available for all guests.

Komsan Kampot Resort is an absolute gem and easily one of the most relaxing and beautiful places to stay in Kampot. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness, making us feel at home right away. The resort is perfectly set amidst stunning natural surroundings, offering peaceful views that make it easy to unwind and disconnect from everyday stress. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with anything we needed. If you’re visiting Kampot and want a quiet, comfortable place to stay, we’d definitely recommend Komsan Kampot Resort. We’d happily stay here again!

Great place for families for a nature escape. Nice pool and bikes to borrow for the whole family.

A bit far away from the center

Le complexe hôtelier s'adresse aux familles et offre de nombreuses activités aux enfants. Le personnel est très accueillant. Ma chambre était très grande avec un balcon sur l'eau, les oiseaux, les grenouilles pour coulisse sonore. Dépaysement total. Situé aux bords de Kampot, c'est un bon point de chute pour visiter la région. Sur le site, 2 piscines et sauna pour se détendre. Cuisine régionale qui permet de découvrir les saveurs de la région.

This is brand new resort in Kampot, friendly staff and clean room. This great place to escape from capital city, feeling relax and enjoy the moment with my family. Definitely recommend to all travelers who passionate about new resort experience and hygiene food.

The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are outstanding, always willing to help and very attentive. The bed is fantastic. The gardens are nice and the area is very quiet.

Not much we didn't like. The swimming pool could be a little bigger, it is too small to do some serious laps. No other complaints.

Good Place for relax and family time.

Resort is not completely finished yet, but really clean and spacious. The restaurant was absolutely delicious. There were a lot of facilities on the resort you can use for free. We would recommend staying here.

The attention to detail by the manager was exceptional. He came in person to help us and provide answers to our questions. Other staff are also lovely. The resort has great potential and is located next to the Mekong river so great for a sun set drink.Can imagine kids would love to be here > shed load of things for them to do.

We had to deal with some renovation noise, but the manager did his best to mitigate it.

This is a over priced and overhyped resort. There are a few beautiful resorts nearby places which are cheaper and more beautiful. I will never book again at this price. Saying again that it's overpriced.

On checkin no staff at reception. On checkout poor experience,waited 30mins for Mini bars to be checked although I did confirm the correct number of bottles of water that needed to be charged,young lady seemed to lack training and confidence,needs more support from management. The sockets in the room only one I was able to plug into,furthest from my bed.Couldn’t get the bedside lamps to work? Some of the leisure equipment,peddle boats,looked old,dirty and tired.

The experience of walking across the cute wooden bridge, suspended over lush rice fields, on the way to the restaurant is truly one-of-a-kind. As we strolled, we were serenaded by the natural sounds of frogs and crickets, creating a nostalgic and peaceful ambiance. Although it was a bit wet due to the light showers during our stay, we still soaked in the beauty of the surroundings. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy the resort’s many free activities like kayaking, cycling, and volleyball—but there's so much to look forward to next time. We did, however, enjoy a fantastic dinner at their restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was impressive, especially considering the resort is in its early days of full operation. Our room was located in a building right next to the rice fields, offering stunning views. The bed was enormous and the mattress incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. While the bathroom was a bit compact, the cool night air at this time of year made it so pleasant that we barely needed the air conditioning. Breakfast the next morning was a delightful spread of both Asian and Western options, and the fresh coffee gave us the perfect start to our day. This place is a hidden gem for anyone seeking a peaceful escape into nature with unique experiences. It’s definitely a must-visit!

Staying at this stunning, greenery-filled resort felt like a magical experience. We were completely immersed in the peaceful embrace of nature. Although the road to get there was a bit of an adventure, the moment we arrived, we were awed by the vast, open spaces and the wide range of activities. Our child especially loved the swimming pool and water slide, making the stay even more memorable. Our suite, with its breathtaking view of the serene rice fields, offered a unique connection to nature—something we’ve never experienced at any other resort in the world. While nearby dining options are limited, the resort made everything effortless by arranging transportation into town, just 15 minutes away. However, we chose to enjoy an exclusive dinner at one of their rooftop venues. In fact, the resort offers several fantastic dining options beyond their outstanding restaurant. This hidden gem is truly worth discovering, though it may not appeal to those who prefer the fast pace of city life.
