Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Las cabanas son amplias y cómodas para instalarse unos cuantos días en Arugam Bay ideal. Está bien ubicada sin estar en una zona de ruido o bares musicales.
El desayuno está rico, pero la variedad es limitada. Estuvimos 5 noches y al final se hizo algo monótono. Pero insisto que está bueno y te lo preparan cada día acompañado de fruta o zumo natural.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Cabanas are super nice and clean. Very warm feeling, with AC and lots of space. Super cute and pretty well located. Fresh juices they made at breakfast were phenomenal, by far the best we had in the 2 weeks we travelled around Sri Lanka. They also found us very cost effective drivers.
Communication was quite difficult with the older guy we did check in with but everyone else was very welcoming and helpful. Especially the "maintenance guy". We had a small problem with ants in the bathroom but he took care of the situation swiftly and quickly. So, problem solving skills are on point :)

Het ontbijt was een beetje karig. De juices waren wel heerlijk. Aankomst ging ook een beetje slordig. Ze kon ook geen Engels. Later kwam de manager die kon ons fijn welkom heten.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026C’est un très joli hôtel, très propre et confortable avec un bar et restaurant proposant des plats variés à tous les goûts, les fruits de mer sont très bons. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en profitant de la plage à 4 min à pied de l’hôtel. Il est bien situé à proximité de toutes commodités. Le personnel est serviable.
Le petit déjeuner qui était compris dans notre réservation se résumait à de l’eau chaude servie avec un très petit sachet de nescafé, une omelette avec 3 toasts sans avoir assez de beurre ou de confiture pour les tartiner et une assiette de fruits avec des quantités très peu généreuses. Les plats du restaurant ne contiennent pas toute la description du menu.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Die Optik der Cabanas (sowohl innen als auch aussen) sehr schön. Die Hütten sind sauber, die Betten bequem, Air condition hält das Zimmer angenehm kühl bei der starken Hitze draußen. Der Eingangsbereich, der zu den Cabanas führt, ist ein grosser schöner ruhiger Ort. Hier wird auch gegessen. Die Musik ist chillig. Das Personal ist sehr sehr freundlich.
Die Cabanas sind stockdunkel, wenn man nicht die Fensterläden öffnet, was aber bedeutet, dass dann gleich die Hitze reinkommt. Deshalb kann man sich tagsüber nicht bei natürlichen Licht in seinem Zimmer aufhalten. Zwischen Cabana 3 und 4 ist eine Pumpe, die nachts permanent an und ausgeht, was laut ist und beim Schlafen stört. Der Muezzin ruft um 4.45 Uhr , das sollte man auch wissen, wenn man hier bucht. Das Frühstück war dürftig: 3 Toastbrotscheiben, die zugeteilte Butter und Marmelade reicht für 1-2 Toast , das Rührei ist so geschmacklos wie direkt aus dem Tetrapack. Man hat die Wahl zwischen entweder Obstteller oder frisch gepressten Juice, schöner wären es beides zu bekommen ( hatten wir in anderen Unterkünften).

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Een erg grote kamer, de grootste die wij tijdens onze reis hebben gehad. Heerlijke bedden, goede airco. Lekker donker waardoor je goed kon uitslapen. Goed ontbijt, toast met jam en ei en een heerlijke vers sapje met koffie. Je zit een beetje aan het begin van de strook van Arugam bay, hierdoor lekker in de rust. We hebben heerlijke dagen hier gehad.
We vonden het wel storend dat we om 4.30 uur door de Moskee in de buurt wakker werden, maar daar kunnen ze niets aan doen. We hadden bij het ontbijt wel een stukje fruit gewild, maar dat was meer omdat we het fruit zo heerlijk vonden. De sap was al zalig! En onze kinderen hadden graag Wifi in de kamer gehad.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Die Cabanas sind super groß & geräumig. Es gibt alles was man braucht inklusive einem Wasserkocher & Teebeuteln. Das Personal war jederzeit sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das inkludierte Frühstück belief sich auf eine Eierspeise, Toast, Kaffee/Tee und Saft nach Wahl. Die Lage ist sehr gut, umgeben von Restaurants, Cafés und Shops. Bis zum Strand nur ein kurzer Spaziergang. Ich hatte eine gute Zeit!

On ne voit rien. Absolument rien. Ya pas de lumière dans la cabane. Un petit frigo serait le bienvenue dans la chambre

The owner did not provide our breakfast and tea as promised on our day of leaving. I paid my bills the day before we left and they promised to prepare breakfast and tea by 6 am next morning and charged me for that morning tea. But no one has prepared breakfast or tea by 6 am that day. That was really frustrating and felt like they cheated.

Reviewed May 21, 2026The place is perfect and the people that work there and the owner are so friendly!! We stayed four nights, the room was very spacious and they let us stayed a bit longer at the end while we were waiting for the bus. The Cabana is dark during the day so you will not get any light in the morning, meaning you can sleep as long as you want to. Also the breakfast that’s included is very tasty and good. They were always willing to help if we had any questions. 10/10 would recommend!! i hope i can come back, i really felt home and welcome. Thank you again!!
