Traumhaftes Zimmer und Unterkunft, sehr liebes personal und restaurant ist auch super
Very clean. Lovely room and super friendly staff. Also being all vegan we knew we were supporting an ethical business, they had a lot of leaflets about animal charities and LGBTQ+ which made the vibes very friendly and welcoming.
Everything was perfect as expected :) Location is perfect : 10mn by walk for the city center. No need to use Tuk-Tuk or scooter to explore the city. Our room was really spacious, well equipped, comfy, we had everything we need to feel comfortable. We really appreciate. Lzz is truly a kind soul, always willing to help you and make sure you feel great. Also, we adoooored the food. If you’re staying, you have to taste this amazing vegan food. Thank you so much Lzz, take care xx
Nothing !
Great location. Lovely outdoor spaces (balcony in room, big terrace + rooftop terrace with partly river view) Charming old house. Big room, well equipped.
It is and old house under new management and a lot of things need to/(will?) be fixed or updated to make perfect. Loud music from nearby restaurant at night.
Accoglienza meravigliosa! Posto molto pulito, bello e mantiene una semplicità ed energia che ti fa sentire bene. Liz è una persona fantastica e vi consigliamo di andarla a trovare :)
Thanks to Tola and Patrick we had a wonderful time in Kampot. The best vegan food in Kampot in combination with great talks with Tola and a sustainable planet friendly concept, We loved it there
Lovely hosts, and a quiet location. Very chill. Hotel was colourful and beds comfortable. Felt like a homestay. Very sweet. Slightly out of town (about 5mins tuktuk) but only 2 min walk to the river.

We loved staying at Cambodhi. Tola and Patrick are so kind and will make sure you’ll feel at home anytime, always eager to give recommendations or help you out with your (future) travel plans. The vegan food is absolutely delicious and the new location couldn’t be better at the riverside. The rooftop is great for morning yoga and meditation practices. We’ll recommend this little gem to our friends visiting Kampot and hope to come back ourselves one day.

We love the ethos and purpose of the Guesthouse and the importance of veganism and sustainability. Patrick and Tola were lovely and greeted us when we arrived. Their guide book for the Guesthouse is informative and helpful. The restaurant has tasty options and are cooked well and served quickly. They had books to read and games such as cards which we used.
The location was about 20 minutes out of town which isn't too far but taking a tuk tuk in the evening was necessary as it gets very dark and there is no lighting. It was also very noisy with lots of animals around the area so unfortunately we didn't sleep well. As the owners are moving a few things weren't as good as we expected such as no shampoo or shower gel and a couple of the meals weren't available or didn't have the ingredients it advertised on the menu.
They were very hospitable and kind people. If I return to this city again, I would come to this hotel.
The environment and atmosphere of the the property makes you feel like home.
It could have been the best if the bathroom has an exhaust fan for ventilation.
Beautiful bedroom and divine body
NA All so good
What I Loved Most - Summary: The FOOD!!! The entire concept of sustainability An LGBT-friendly and safe environment Vegan and vegetarian options No plastic waste – enjoy free refills from the water barrel downstairs I had an absolutely fantastic stay. The guesthouse is vegan, vegetarian, and sustainable, making it perfect for those who are not just consumers but also care deeply about the environment, animals, sustainability, and local communities. The concept behind this guesthouse is both smart and meaningful. I truly enjoyed it and dined at their ground-floor restaurant for nearly all my meals; everything was incredibly delicious! They set up an account for meals, scooter rentals, and laundry, allowing you to pay by card (or cash) before checking out, which was extremely convenient. Located in a quiet, local area away from the bustling tourist and party zones, the guesthouse also features a fantastic rooftop viewpoint where you can order drinks and food from the kitchen below. It’s a great place to relax or practice yoga. My room boasted a spacious balcony, a writing desk, ample space for hanging and storing clothes, a fan, and air conditioning. Plus, the bathroom had refillable bottles of local organic shampoo and soap. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I also strongly suggest visiting Nibi Spa, which was mentioned on the guesthouse notice board. It features a sauna with a stunning view of the river. Additionally, swimming in the river was an absolute delight!
Very friendly host and lovely place, very well decorated. Spacious and clean room. Quite at night. Very good food also
Many unfriendly dogs in the neighborhood, so it can be quite scary if you don't take a tuk tuk
Beautifully decorated and very welcoming guesthouse! Tola pours his heart into the guesthouse and it shows beautifully in every little detail! The bedroom is gorgeous and each room has a specific theme and is decorated accordingly. Tola is very friendly and will explain and share a lot about Cambodia and his ambitions to support the local community and make a difference 🙏 The location is slightly away from the main buzzing city which is great to relax in a more quiet environment while still being 5 min away from the main streets by grab. Plus you get a nice views of the mountains and nice sunset. The food is absolutely amazing as well and prepared with great care and so much flavour, with organic ingredients so make sure to try a few dishes from the menu! We'll be back on our next visit for sure!
Everything from the welcome to the end. They are very kind people. Helpful.

what a wonderful stay here! Beautiful clean rooms, a nice balcony and a large roof terrace. location is very good, outside the center but within a few minutes you are there with a scooter.
can't think of anything not to like. can only say: if you are looking for a nice stay in Kampot, this is the place :)
Everything was wonderful! We loved this property

From the moment we stepped into Cambodhi, we felt at peace. There’s an energy about this place—something in the way the staff welcome you, the way the building breathes, the way everything just feels right. It’s as if they’ve distilled warmth and good vibes into the walls themselves. Our room was an instant comfort—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and filled with subtle details that made it feel more than just a place to sleep. But let’s talk about the light. I still don’t know how to describe it properly—there was no bulb, and yet, it was one of the most powerful and unique lights I’ve ever seen. Are they living in the future? The rooftop terrace is another highlight. Open and spacious, it offers 360-degree views of Kampot, perfect for both sunrise and sunset, with the mountains on one side and the town on the other. Even if you’re out exploring during the day, make time to come up here—it’s worth it. We were lucky enough to meet Tola, one of the owners, in person, while Patrick was always just a message away on WhatsApp. Their hospitality was next-level—not just friendly, but genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience in Kampot. Need a scooter? They’ll sort it. Have a question? They’ll answer before you’ve finished typing. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with friends who happen to be excellent hosts. A small but brilliant touch was the Welcome Book in our room. Now, I’m a logical guy—former project manager—so I really appreciated how well-thought-out and practical it was. It wasn’t just another generic guidebook; it told the story of the owners, explained how everything in the room worked, and laid out the best of Kampot in a way that made planning effortless. There are subtle sustainability hints woven throughout the book and the hotel itself—little reminders that made me rethink my own habits. It doesn’t preach at you, but it somehow makes you want to live better. Now, let’s talk about the food—or at least, what
If you’re planning to rent a scooter, check whether it comes with a phone holder. Ours didn’t, which made navigation a bit tricky at times. It’s a small detail, but one that can make exploring Kampot much easier!
Wow! The best hosts and lovely crew. Amazing food, rooftop and beds:) An all inclusive home to come back to
The room was super clean, the bed incredibly comfortable and it all looks just like the pictures. They have a very cozy roof top where you can eat, have drinks or do yoga. The food was amazing, best scrambled tofu we‘ve ever had. But the best part of our stay was the friendliness of the hosts Tola and Patrick! It was our favourite stay in all Cambodia so far and we will definitely go back someday. Would 100% recommend!
Nothing, we enjoyed our stay very much!
The place is very clean and well equipped The hosts are really helpful and nice. The location is outside of town which makes the place quiet and convenient The food is really great!!! Kudos to the chef!
Incredibly nice staff, amazing food, good location: away from the noisy city center, but not too far.
None
Guesthouse is very cosy, only 5 rooms a bit outside the city (you can reach by tuc tuc on 2mins or 15 by foot). Room is well equipped. I apperciate sustainable approach and what's the most important delicious food prepared, served at the highest level. Fully recommend🙂
Very clean, friendly, great food and lovely people 😊 thank you for everything!
Only to know: bring some earplugs, the dogs in the neighborhood like to bark at night.
We had a great time at Cambodhi Guesthouse! Tola is a great host and provided us with all the necessary information and tips to explore Kampot and the area. He also offers help with finding the best activities in the area as well as scooter rental and a laundry service. The interior of the accommodation is modern and spacious with the most comfortable beds we had in Cambodia. The accommodation was very clean and we felt very comfortable! The food and drinks on offer are also great, we highly recommend the oatmeal and the mango sticky rice. We would come back at any time and highly recommend the accommodation!
Lovely one night stay at Cambodhi to finish our time in Kampot. We were able to check in early and received a warm welcome. Great location, quiet but easy walk to town. We had dinner and breakfast with them and both were great, the breakfast especially was beautiful. Big rooms, comfortable bed with a balcony that we could sit out on at night. Would definitely stay again
The only small thing was the shower pressure, unfortunately it was very weak.
We stood three nights and had really good time there. Patrick and Tola are super nice and friendly. The room was the brightest we had since our five weeks trip over south east Asia. The Food was definitely delicious and we enjoyed the sticky rice with mango every day. If you are vegan or not, can highly recommend it :) The owners were very helpful made the stay as comfortable as possible. And last put not least the roof top terrace has a wonderful view. Totally we can recommend the free walking tour with Jason and if you have more time in Kampot, join the bicycling tour with him :D
I had an absolutely wonderful time during my stay at Cambhodi Guesthouse. The hospitality and warmth of Tula and Patrick truly made my experience special. Whenever I needed something or asked for advice, they always provided prompt and fantastic recommendations. Their friendly and welcoming nature contributed greatly to a memorable stay. Thank you both so much!
The room is so cosy and homey I really loved our stay here 😊
It was fine
The sink leaked, the bathroom was not great.
For us, the location was great: a little remote, but only 5 minutes with tuk tuk to the centre. You can also just walk :). Amazing breakfast options with reasonable prices (we tried 5 different options). If you don't like the sounds from outside (roosters, crickets, dogs barking...), earplugs are a must.
A few little fix-ups of the room and bathroom would be nice.
perfect place for a self retreat. clean, comfortable, great food downstairs, nice views, nice lighting, inexpensive, easy tuktuk into town. book it!
Such a beautiful guesthouse! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The rooms are comfortable, cosy and have a really nice view. The food in the restaurant downstairs is incredible and the hosts are just lovely people, who love to help where they can :)
We had a lovely stay for 6 nights, we decided to stay for longer to enjoy the vegan food and quiet town. Food was amazing and the room was very clean and comfortable. Patrick and Tola were very welcoming and helpful. The location is great, just enough to be outside of town but near to hop in either on foot, bike or tuc tuc (we did all three over the week).
Tola is amazing. He help me learned how to ride a scooter which I was scared of doing on my end. With his husband, they gave me good tips on where to go. I loved that the guesthouse was not directly in the city center, but a little bit outside (walking distance from it) which made it a quiet place from the city noises.
Just something to be aware of, there are roasters close by, so I suggest coming with earplugs because they can be a bit noisy. But that should definitely not keep you from coming here.
The owners as and staff were so lovely and friendly. That made our stay special as we haven’t come across many other places like this. The vegan food was imaginative and amazing. The toiletries were organic. Water was available from a large container as they are anti plastic
Could have been a little cooler but air con escaped a bit through a gap in the window
We loved our stay at Cambodhi Guest House. The rooms are super comfortable, bright and bigger than they look on the pictures. The food is amazing, the view from the roof-terrace is really nice, Patrick and Tola are lovely and very welcoming hosts and the atmosphere in the guesthose is very friendly, cozy and just nice. We really felt at home and would love to come back.
The breakfasts (not included in room price) are incredibly delicious. Staff friendly and laid back.
Location a bit far from anything but tuktuks readily available. AC in room a bit weak. Price point a bit high compared to many other guesthouses we stayed at in Cambodia especially as breakfast is not included.
Very nice room and guest house, good food and friendly hosts. Wifi was good for video calls. Would recommend.
Room was quite hot despite the AC, but still very very nice!
The owners were welcoming, friendly and very helpful, and gave us all the advice we needed to make the most of our days in Kampot. The food was delicious and plentiful. The room was tastefully decorated, very bright and spacious. The location is not very central but by tuk-tuk you can get to the guesthouse in a few minutes ( about $1-2) Super recommended!
Everything, have a peaceful rest. Friendly and helpful staff. The owner is very helpful and caring. We will stay for our next trip.
I completely have nothing that I don't like.
We loved our stay at Cambodhi guesthouse! Our room was super cozy with the most comfortable bed, balcony and beautiful details and colour concept. The vegan food was extraordinary delicious! As we fell in love with Kampot and the guesthouse we almost stayed for two weeks and could try almost everything from the menu and we loved it all! We‘re already missing the hearty breakfast and the peanut butter smoothie. :) But besides the room and food the heart and soul of the guesthouse are Tola & Patrick! They helped us with every question or request we had, gave us lovely recommendations for Kampot and we had wonderful and deep talks with them on the beautiful rooftop terrace. They are two beautiful souls that will do everything to make your stay perfect. We can truly say that we came as guests and left as friends. We can highly recommend to stay at Cambodhi guesthouse, as it will feel more like a home away from home. Thank you so much for everything! 💙 P.S. For everyone who‘s concerned if it’s too far from the „city center“. It’s quite easy to rent a motorbike, bicycle or you can catch a grab for really small money. So no need to worry. We even walked a couple of times. Took us only around 10 min. :)
We enjoyed stay at Cambodhi. Such a lovely place! It is located in quiet area but in proximity to central activities. The hosts were very friendly. We also admire sustainable conception of this guesthouse. It is clean, calm and peaceful place. Vegetarian cafe has delicious meals. We especially recommend to stay there who shares such conscious and sustainable way of living. Peace and love from Russia!
Patrick and Tola are the most wonderful hosts. Not only did they give us Tipps for the area but we also had lovely talks with each other. The food of their kitchen blew us away. Don’t miss out on the hearty breakfast!
None :)
Excellent property clean cosy. Perfect and quiet location. There is a vegan restaurant in the lobby. That belong to them. There are many options for breakfast lunch and dinner also desserts and drinks i almost tried whole the food in the menu and i can say that they were very tasty . Friendly staff and service easy communication, easy checkin and checkout.
Guesthouse: as a hostel-goer I splurged to enjoy a few nights here before going back to work. It was the best sleeps I have had in months. The guesthouse is new, so there are the odd few little details left to put together but the hosts are totally open to feedback and will ask for your opinion. The mattress was super soft, hotel quality bedding and towels. A large desk and private balcony, plus shared rooftop. It was exactly as pictured. Tola & Patrick are kind hosts who will speak to you and get to know you if you like. This is a lovely safe space to rest and enjoy leisure. Wifi is super fast. I asked to extend but they were booked! A happy dilemma. I wish Patrick & Tola great success in their venture. Vegan Food: It’s an easy 15-20 minute walk from the main downtown area to this cozy space. With a smaller menu compared to other places in town, you’ll have a very well-thought out, high-quality dining experience cooked with love. It’s a small kitchen so be patient, it’s worth it. I know it’s a western dish, but I couldn’t get enough of their oatmeal. So huge and creamy, I could eat it everyday and never be bored.
Loved my stay here, highlight accommodation of Cambodia. Super clean. Super friendly staff and excellent food selection. Also had great recommendations, thanks Tola :)
Nothing.
The owners Tola and Patrick couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly! We feel so lucky that it just opened in time for us coming to Kampot. We can honestly say we never wanted to leave. The cook is incredible (we’ve been travelling Asia for 3 months and the Amok and Mushroom Sensation were the best curries we’ve had our whole trip 👏🏼). The rooms are really comfy, bright and clean. They overlook the countryside and have a sweet little balcony. Breakfast every day was amazing. There’s a sun roof to chill on too. It’s an only 15 minute walk into the centre of town / less than a dollar on Grab but you get a real sense of calm and a lovely view. Vegan and organic soaps and shampoos too!
Nothing! But maybe if there was some little fairy lights on the roof to enjoy in the evening that would be magical.
the food, the hospitality, true environment
not much.
