Reviewed Jun 16, 2026The location was fantastic, the property was big enough for us to stay comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our evening meals. The property is pretty special with the really high ceilings, choice of bedrooms and ensuites. The beds were comfortable. The gardens were lovely and there was heaps of parking.
Two of the ensuite handbasins were very small. The furniture in the lounge was not that comfortable, the sofas and chairs were very deep.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Such an amazing house with plenty of room for everyone. You could be sociable or do your own thing in peace and privacy. Incredibly comfy beds and lovely linen. Bathrooms squeaky clean. Huge, well appointed kitchen and loved having the 8 of us together around the table. It was perfect for our family catch-up.
Nothing! Minor mentions: more teatowels, a large pyrex jug for the microwave and handwash in the kitchen 😉

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026It was a beautiful home full of charm and space. It was a bit far from town to comfortably walk but the Uber drivers were familiar with the location. Because the property was away from town it was very quiet and peaceful.
The lack of counter space in the bathrooms to place toiletries could be resolved with vanities. There were no closets in the bedrooms with the exception of the master bedroom. No outlets in the bathrooms/bedrooms was challenging.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026The villa is just beautiful and was super spacious for our family group to spread out. We were here for a family wedding and the villa provided such a brilliant base for our preparations and catch ups. The house is in close proximity to town and all amenities.
We loved absolutely everything.

Bring good walking shoes for the walk back from town but don’t let that put you off. Highly recommend for a group or families to hang out in a shared location

Reviewed Oct 2, 2025It was close to everything we would want to see and do. Chrissy was extremely helpful in fixing the smoke alarm when we messaged (battery was dying) and she was also forthcoming in advising good activities and places to eat. Honestly, everything was amazing.
The ants but I know they can be difficult to deal with so not a huge issue.

We couldn't find more tea towels, the BBQ was not clean, we left the BBQ in pristine condition after we used it. Would have cleaned the oven too but know some of these require specialized products.

Reviewed Jan 22, 2025A truly exceptional place – beautiful, well appointed and spacious, perfect for sharing with another family! The kids played hide-and-seek for hours :) The views are incredible and it's close to town, but obviously high up on the hill, which means the climb back is quite tough (a great leg workout!). There are TVs and bathrooms galore and the fridge is smarter than a lesser laptop.
One of the upstairs beds is creaky, but there's so much space we just put the mattress on the floor for undisturbed sleep.
