Driftwood Beach Apartment "oasis in paradise"

Comfortable bedrooms; proximity to the beach; convenient and safe parking; access to the inland roads; very helpful and friendly owner.

A little difficult to ventilate; otherwise well-equipped kitchen could do with a breadknife.

We were able to find good restaurants just by walking and the beach is just a five minute walk from the apartment. Everything is thought from A to Z. Our flight was later on the check out date so Raj kindly accepted our late check out time as well. Home was serene and beautiful. Definitely recommend it.

It was a big property which was clean and tidy

The view from the property is not too great As it is surrounded with fields that need a good trimming but nothing wrong with the property itself. It’s just the view that was not good.

Clean, modern and good sized apartment. The kitchen is great with a full set of plates, cutlery and cooking equipment. Air conditioning in every room. Bathrooms are neat with large rain head showers. Raj the owner is very helpful and friendly. Good value for money here.

Towels maybe need to be changed for newer ones.

Sehr hochwertig und comfortabel, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit vielen liebevollen Details. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen. An viele Kleinigkeiten, die für uns großartig waren, hatten die Gastgeber gedacht - nicht nur Wasser im Kühlschrank, auch Brot, Obst, Kaffee und Müsli standen für uns bereit.

Wir hätten gerne die ganzen 2 Wochen dort verbracht. Es ist fast immer ausgebucht. Wer noch eine Lücke erwischt oder früh buchen kann. sollte sich dieses Apartment nicht entgehen lassen.

L'appartement est bien situé, proches des restaurants et de la mer. Il est vraiment très bien équipé (télé avec Netflix et Prime, tout ce qu'il faut pour la plage, machine a laver et lave vaiselle etc.). Il est bien décoré. C'est un appartement qui à de la vie.

Le lit grince et pas de vue directe sur la mer depuis l'appartement.

Appartement neuf, spacieux, propre, bien équipé il y avait vraiment tout ce qu’il fallait, confortable et calme. Restaurants et plage à proximité.

Apartament duży, czysty i dobrze wyposażony. Wszystko co potrzebne było w apartamencie. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem, przesłał nam informacje gdzie zjeść, gdzie zrobić zakupy itp. Ogólnie bardzo dobrze czuliśmy się w apartamencie.

Basen - jest beznadziejnie zlokalizowany, przy garażu. Wogole nie zachęcał do kąpieli. Po zdjęciach myśleliśmy że jest na 6 piętrze gdzie jest fajny taras z widokiem na morze, ale się bardzo rozczarowaliśmy. Słaby widok z okna.

Wir haben hier ein paar wundervolle Tage verbracht. Das Appartment ist sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet - ausreichend Platz mit 2 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bädern und einer voll ausgestatteten Küche. Zum schönen Strand von Flic en Flac sind es nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Haus ist 24/7 bewacht. Von der Dachterrase hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Umgebung. Ein Pool im Eingangsbereich ist ebenfalls vorhanden, sowie ausreichend Parkplätze. Besonders lobenswert ist der "Rundum-Service" von Marlene und Raj. Ihr bekommt Insider-Tipps zu Mauritius und jede Menge Infos, auch schon vor der Reise. Bei Spätankunft wurde uns sogar ein Essens-Lieferservice angeboten, den wir gerne in Anspruch genommen haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag wären bequemere Sitzgelegenheiten auf dem Balkon des Appartments.

Der Strand ist in 5min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Auto kann man auf dem Parkplatz unter dem Gebäude im Schatten parken. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Der Waschmaschinenablauf war leck, aber das Problem wurde umgehend durch einen Klemptner behoben, obwohl der Vermieter auf Geschätsreise war.

Wir hatten zwar einen (neuen) Safe, aber der war nirgendwo festgeschraubt - soll lt. Vermieter aber zeitnah befestigt werden.

Das Appartment war ein Traum, sehr geräumig und top ausgestattet. Es wurde wirklich an jedes kleinste Detail gedacht (Strandkorb für Kinderspielzeug, Spiele, Strandschirm und Sessel,.. etc) Der Vermieter war sehr nett und gab auch hilfreiche Tipps. Die Dachterasse war ideal zum Sonnenuntergang genießen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Leider war das Gebäude sehr hellhörig und man hörte die Nachbarn sehr laut durch und auch die ständigen Feuerwerke.. falls jemand einen leichten Schlaf hat, könnte dies ziemlich störend sein.

Raj was friendly and helped when needed. Great condition of the apartment overall, and nicely decorated. It was cozy. Would recommend it!

Pool is small, but functioning.

A stunningly beautiful and super modern apartment in Flic en Flac - book it - you won’t regret it! The apartment is super close to the beach (3 min walk) immaculately presented and the furnishings are to a high standard. The kitchen in particular is stunning, has everything you could ever think of and we enjoyed cooking and making use of the complimentary BBQ. Raj the owner was super fast and helpful in communication and there were so many lovely lovely touches in the apartment that made our stay fantastic. We super appreciated the ‘welcome’ food pack and made use of the complimentary masks and snorkels, bat and balls, beach towels and sun hats. Super fast broadband made work easy and the tv complimentary tv packages allowed us to chill in the evening after enjoying the beautiful beaches!! Free parking in a 24 hr security area underneath apartment (although security isn’t needed as area is super safe!) We wish one da, we could stay longer or return!

Immeuble actuel et neuf Appartement super bien agencé, bien décoré, cosy... Tout le nécessaire à été mis à disposition. Bien situé, restaurants et commerces à proximité ainsi que la plage....

Attention, certaines serviettes avaient 1 tache blanche....

Byt sa nachadza v bytovom dome 2 spalne, 2 kupelne s WC, kuchyna s terasou, obyvacka, v kazdej izbe klimatizacia. Byt je plne vybaveny, k dispozicii aj veci potrebne na plaz. Dom ma kryte parkovisko, pri vstupe mensi bazen. Cely objekt je strazeny 24/7. Nachadza sa v blizkosti plaze a ulice s restauraciami - 5 minut pesi.

La superbe plage de Flic en Flac est toute proche, à 5 minutes à pied. Le propriétaire est très disponible pour tout souci. L’appartement lumineux et bien décoré dispose de tout le nécessaire, dans le moindre détail.

Hintergrund ist sehr gut eingerichtet, modern und sauber. Man ist sehr schnell am Strand und auch zu den Restaurant ist es nicht weit. Der Vermieter reagiert sehr schnell auf Fragen und falls etwas gefixt werden muss. Unter dem Haus ist ein Parkdeck, wo man den Mietwagen parken kann. Der Zugang zum Haus ist rund um die Uhr von einem Guard kontrolliert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Apartment uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

O apartamento é moderno, bem decorado e totalmente equipado, oferecendo todo o conforto necessário. A localização é ótima, muito próxima da praia e com diversas opções de restaurantes nas redondezas. O anfitrião foi simpático, prestável e sempre disponível. Excelente experiência.

The property is close to the beach and restaurants. They provided a welcome package which was very much appreciated. Amenities for the beach were also provided such as beach towels and hats. The place is located at a prime location. There is also a wonderful chilling area at the top of the building with a wonderful view of the beach and the city.

The parking garage is too small for some cars.

L'appartement est très bien situé et très confortable. Il est gardé, il y a un garage, une petite piscine et il est au calme, proche de la plage. Deux grandes chambres avec matelas très appréciable et confortable.

Huge apartment, with everything you could need! Comfortable beds and powerful showers. Perfect location, just next to the beach, we have since seen many beaches in Mauritius and Flic en Flac is our favourite, we wish we stayed there longer! The host went above and beyond, was happy to help with any questions I had etc and was so kind that he surprised me with a birthday balloon, some delicious pastries and a bottle to celebrate my birthday! Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to revisit Mauritius 🙏🏼

The apartment had everything we needed plus more! Raj really makes sure everything you could need is in the flat and if we had any questions at all he always was quick to help

Lage perfekt!

Appartamento molto spazioso (eravamo in 2) dotato di tutto quello che può servire per cucinare, moderno e arredato con molto gusto. Parcheggio interno, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia. Le chiavi si ritirano sul posto con tutta la comodità di arrivare quando vuoi.

Marlène and Raj are the best duo ever ! They both have a great sense of hospitality. When you arrive at the apartment you will receive a warm welcoming with some treats from Marlene. The bedroom is amazing and there is a tv room with a massive sofa. The balcony is nice. We spend a good moment at Dritfwood thank You both very much.

We had an amazing experience staying at this apartment! From the moment we arrived, everything was great. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had a very cozy, home-like atmosphere. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always available if we had any questions, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. We were touched by the thoughtful welcome treat waiting for us when we arrived – such a lovely gesture! The apartment had everything you could possibly need. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into making guests feel comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Everything was good

We had a very pleasent stay in this apartment and there is nothing to complain about. We met the owner Raj and Marlene shortly when we arrive to the apartment and they are lovely and show us everything. Also the beach and restaurangs in the neiberhod is really good. A top star stay we will say!

Only thing to say something about is that the bathroom is a little dark!

The apartment is very well equipped and near to the beach.

Stains and hairs on bed sheets. Both bathrooms haven't been properly cleaned. No value for money.

Lovely apartment! Marlene and Raj are very lovely and made us feel right at home. The place was clean and accommodated everything. They also provided beach towels, chairs, and some other beach stuff that could come in handy. The complex also has a lovely rooftop which you can use and see the beautiful sunset. All in all a lovely beautiful and spacious apartment. Thank you!

It was very contemporary as well as being very comfortable. It had everything you could wish for in a home from home. The hosts were exceptionally helpful kind and friendly. Nothing was to much for them and they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect

That we only found Driftwood Beach Apartment towards the end of our holiday, we would have loved to base ourselves from here for the entire time in Mauritius.

Brand new apartment. Looks just like the photos on booking.com. Good quality bedding, towels and appliances and a lot of nice, small touches such as incense sticks and a fragrant candle in the kitchen/dining area, hand soap and lotion, beach towels and equipment etc. Aircon and WiFi are really good, as are the streaming options (Apple, Netflix, Amazon Prime). A few minutes’ walk from a quiet area of the beach and lots of restaurants. About 15 minutes walk along the beach to a large supermarket (Jumbo Express). Roof top terrace gives panoramic views of Flic-en-Flac.

Nothing to dislike. If nitpicking, there is a quite a lot of building work going on nearby.
