Very near the main road, you can hear live music from street restaurants until midnight. But I didn't mind.

Really beautiful hotel in a great location, just a short walk from everything you need to explore Ubud. There’s also a mini market right at the entrance, which is super convenient, and they have parking available too. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

C'est mon premier voyage à bali j'avais peur de rester à ubud à cause des insectes. Au final je regrette ne pas rester plus longtemps. Ce guesthouse a rendu mon séjour très confortable. Les chambres sont très propres et spacieuse. Agus m'a montré dès le début la gentillesse des indonésien il est super gentil et serviable. Il nous a laissé la moto le lendemain gratuitement et nous a permis un chevk out tardive et de garder nos bagages. Si je reviens à ubud je reviens surement a ce guestouse. Le fait de ne pas avoir de piscine nous a pas dérangé car on passait tout notre temps dehors et on rentrait le soir pour domir. Le bar en face non plus car on dormait très bien.

Very central and beautiful clean room. The bed was so comfortable and there is enough space to store your luggage. Agus is so kind and helpful. He always made me feel like I came home. I could also rent a motorbike.

Since the location is so central, there is quite some noise. They do have ear buds. I didn't really mind the noise that much, since I fall asleep easily.

너무 좋아요 ㅠㅠ 🌟🌟🌟🌟넷플릭스 됌🌟🌟🌟🌟 제가 가성비 여행자라서 저렴한 숙소로만 예약을 하는데 여기는 우선 직원 왕친절 그 자체고 룸도 넓고 깨끗하고 컨디션 최상입니다.. 오픈한지 얼마 안 되서 리뷰도 별로 없고 가격도 엄청 저렴하니까 제발 한국사람들 여기 숙소 저점매수 하세요 저는 우붓이 생각보다 할 게 많고 좋은 것도 있었지만 이 숙소가 뭔가 마음이 너무 편하고 좋아서 4박이나 더 연장했어요.. 바로 앞에 한식당 남산 있고 바이크 5분 거리에 목구멍 있고 쇼핑거리도 걸어서 15분? 바이크 5분 이내에 있으며 우붓 왕궁 워킹 트레일 다 근처에 있어요 와이파이 빵빵합니다👍🏾

Wir wollten kurzfristig aus einem "Horror Hotel" raus und da habe ich das Gata Guest House gefunden. Direkt gebucht und angefragt, ob wir eher einchecken können. Die Antwort kam prompt: "Es wäre uns eine große Freude, sie können direkt kommen", das war morgens um 9 Uhr eigentlicher Check in ist 14 Uhr. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt, die Zimmer haben alles was man braucht, es ist super sauber, zentral und das Frühstück war sehr gut. Dankeschön nochmal für die Freundlichkeit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen 😊

Absolutely amazing come to Bali six or seven times a year one of the best places we stay at for the price 10 out of 10 bed and pillow pillows nice clean Aircon lovely hot shower right in the center and relatively quiet walking distance to good restaurants and entertainment nice secure parking and great host. originally booked for two nights extended our stay.

I’ve looked through many accommodations, and this one truly deserves a great review. The staff is incredibly kind, the rooms are spotlessly clean and feel very safe. There was always hot water, and I never had any issues with the toilet — no bad smells or blockages at all. There is a non stop supermarket at the door. I highly recommend it!

Not as negativity just As a practical note — in the afternoons, some monkeys would occasionally visit the balcony looking for leftover food. It added a bit of jungle charm to the stay!

It’s really clean. Staff is very friendly. Location is close to the city center and also to the Monkey Forest.

There is a bar in front of this building and the music is really loud usually till midnight. Also there is no breakfast for this price or fridge in the room. I think for this price better accommodation can be found, I just booked it in very last minute.

L'emplacement est idéal, en plein centre d'Ubud, c'est super lorsque l'on veut visiter. De plus, un mini mart est juste à coté, permettant de se réapprovisionner en eau, snacks, etc. Le personnel est absolument adorable et au petit soin, tout en restant discret. Le petit jardin devant la chambre est très bien entretenu et relaxant. La climatisation fonctionne très bien et la température est parfaite. La propreté de la chambre était top je n'ai rien à redire, tout semble neuf et bien entretenu. Enfin, j'ai été très agréablement surprise du confort de la literie, pour le prix je n'ai jamais eu autant de confort dans Ubud, j'y retournerai sans aucune hésitation !

Juste en face il y le "LOL Bar" qui fait des concerts jusqu'à tard le soir (23h-minuit), dans le chambre, c'est comme si on y était. Ce qui est non négligeable pour ceux qui souhaitent se coucher tôt, ou alors prévoir des boules quies ! Le savon n'avait pas été changé mais c'est un détail.

위치가 우붓 메인이라 어디든 이동하기 편했습니다. 오픈한지 얼마 안되어서인지 시설도 깨끗하고 침대 매트리스가 상당히 만족스러웠습니다. 젊은 부부가 관리하는 것 같았는데 항상 미소띤 얼굴로 친절하게 응대했습니다.

숙소 근처에 펍이 있어서 늦은 시간까지 음악소리가 들리는 점, 방에 냉장고가 없어서 리셉션에 맡겨야 하는 점도 불편했습니다.

I was in one of the upstairs rooms. The room was very clean. The mattress was super comfortable and the linen and pillows were in good condition and clean. The aircon worked well. WIFI was decent. The little balcony was cute. The two employees who work there are very friendly and have a fun and cute vibe. The location is great, right near lots of places to eat and shops. My room looked like the photos. The bathroom is a wet room, water does go everywhere when showering but there is a powerful exhaust fan that absorbs most of the water after approx 30 mins.

I read in reviews before booking that noise from the bar across the road can be loud but I honestly was not expecting it to be as intense as it was. I stayed on a Friday and Saturday so that may be why it was a lot more than I expected. The loud music and karaoke started at approx 9pm and didn't end until 1:30am both nights, then lower but audible music was still playing until 3am. The base from the karaoke and music was so loud that it literally felt like the speakers were on the balcony of the apartment. If you are up for partying and getting amongst it then this place may be for you, if you need to get an early night, you may want to consider another option.

There is NO fridge inside any room. This is definitely not OK. Bathroom doesn’t have window, do they placed a cleaning system that makes a lot of noise. Other than that, rooms were perfectly Ok.

There is no fridge in any room, which is not OK. Especially in this hot weather. Also, there is no window in the bathroom, so the air cleansing system makes too much noise.

I had the most wonderful stay at Gata Guest House! The beds and pillows are hands down the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced while traveling—like sleeping on a cloud. Everything was spotless, and they offer daily housekeeping—just let them know before you head out for the day. The staff are truly the kindest and most thoughtful people. On my birthday, they surprised me with a beautifully decorated room and even brought me a cake! It was such a sweet and personal touch that made my day extra special. The location is also perfect. It’s right on a lively street full of cafes, restaurants, and bars, yet it’s peaceful at night. You’re within walking distance of all the highlights in Ubud—markets, temples, and even the Monkey Forest, without being too close (so no surprise monkey visits!). A quick tip: if you’re arriving late, be sure to message them on WhatsApp in advance so they can leave your key ready. They also offer airport pickup with a friendly driver, which made arrival smooth and stress-free. I honestly couldn’t recommend Gata Guest House enough—exceptional service, unbeatable location, and warm-hearted people. I’ll definitely be back!

No fridge in the room. There is a common kitchen for everyone where you can store your beverages in a fridge. The shower with no curtains, so every time the entire bathroom is wet.

No chair for the “desk” but I just used a chair from the balcony, air con a little weak, surrounded by bars/restaurants so noisy at night but this is only cos it’s so centrally located. Just make sure you have ear plugs.

Location is right on one of the main street and surprisingly it is quiet inside. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Room is spacious with a comfortable bed.

There was obviously some water intrusion to the lower unit that I stayed in and mold is evident on the lower portion of the walls. The bathroom shower curtain was also moldy. I realize this is a tropical climate and it’s damp and humid but the walls can easily be repaired and the shower curtain should be replaced or at least disinfected. There is no excuse for not maintaining the property. That explains the musty odour in the room. If staying here, I would request one of the upper units since it’s likely that there may not be any water damage on the higher elevation.

This property was very central and only a 10 min walk from the monkey forest. The room was lovely and spacious and the staff were so friendly.

So clean and gardens are perfect. 10m walk to Main Street. 4 guest houses 2 ground floor and 2 above. Staff are very friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. Definitely would come back here again and would recommend for solo travellers as it’s very safe. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

We had such a pleasant stay at this property in Ubud. The location was absolutely perfect and so close to everything. The monkey forest is within walking distance and we could even see monkeys from our balcony in the morning time! The staff were so attentive and welcoming - which really made us enjoy staying there that bit more! Super friendly ❤️ the room was spotless too!

Musty/moldy smell so strong I was waking up at night (most of the hotels have it in Bali) , but it was too strong! You can hear the music from the restaurant next door but it fades away after 11pm or so. Also, you can hear the traffic from the street , wasn’t bothered much though.

Location is perfect and the two staff were so helpful and accommodating.

Gata House is perfectly located if you want plenty going on day and night. I’ve lived in Bali over a year and this is the cleanest place I’ve stayed- the staff takes a lot of pride in what they do. The bed was super comfortable and I slept really well considering it’s a very noisy area. (And I’m a light sleeper). The bathroom is very clean and there’s absolutely no mould. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Ubud for a few nights.

place on the main road this guest house is perfect , super clean and tidy, the staff is very nice especially the owner always here to help ! nothings fancy but very good for a guests house ! I definitly recommend it for a short stay ! Perfect if You don't wish to ride a scooter as everything is close to it.

A new built hotel beautifully finished. A very affordable hotel. It doesn't have a pool and the complex is quite small containing only four rooms. The rooms are large , clean and new.
