Ketut and the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful, the rooms were huge and very clean, it was in a great location for the beach and exploring Amed.

The apartment and the furniture is in amazing condition, very clean and close to the beach, supermarket, restaurants. The personnel have been very welcoming and kind to us, very professional.

The only thing we disliked was the accommodation’s driver. His driving skills are very professional, but unfortunately, we didn’t like his attitude. He was quite pushy and acted as if we were expected to use only his services. For example, when we asked him to drive us somewhere but took a nearby taxi back, he questioned why we hadn’t called him instead. He also told us that his price was the lowest available. However, when I contacted another agency, they offered us exactly the same trip for 80,000 IDR less. When we told him about the cheaper offer and said that we would prefer to go with the other agency, he eventually agreed to match the lower price. During a full-day trip, he also recommended visiting a place that turned out to be a tourist trap. We trusted his judgment and ended up paying 200,000 IDR per person to enter an open-air museum that simply wasn’t suitable for travelers like us, who prefer experiencing with our own eyes rather then through lenses of the camera (the place is called mahaganga valley - nice if you like to take picture on the swing, etc, but if you don't, definitely not worth the money) I hope that if he reads this review, he will be more transparent with future guests about what kind of attraction it is and how much the entrance fee costs. This would allow people to decide for themselves, without any pressure, whether the experience is worth visiting for them.

This accommodation exceeded all my expectations and was for me the best place I stayed in Bali. The host and the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout my entire stay. They helped me organize my excursions and even personally drove me to some of the places I wanted to visit. No matter what time it was—even 1 a.m. when I wanted to see the sunrise at Mount Batur—the family was always there for me and made sure I had everything I needed. Their genuine hospitality made my stay truly special. It was an unforgettable holiday, and I will always remember the kindness and warmth I experienced here. I couldn’t recommend this accommodation and this wonderful family enough!

I paid a little more than my average for stay at Amed Permai and it paid back! All the staff where really friendly. In particular Ketut went well above expectations to ensure I was comforable and made to feel welcome. Breakfast was the the best I have had in a homestay. It is located pretty well in the middle of the main strip with lots of quality dining options just a short walk in either direction. I was very happy with my two night stay

It is in the middle of shops ans warungs. The stuff is very friendly. Breakfast was very good and had big portions.

The sheets were a bit yellow-ish, but they changed it immediately for us.

Everything is walking distance, the Staff and the Owner Ketut were lovely! So accomodating! I loved it here. The Breakfast was exceptional!

Shower has good pressure. One of the rooms has luxury view to Mount Agung. Although Permai is only Home stay, the location is very well positioned close to any facility you may need.

Location of property is double edged sword. The streets of Amed were noisy some nights.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt und sogar verlängert. Der Service war sehr gut Ketut und der Rest des Personals haben sich immer um alles gekümmert und waren sehr bemüht jederzeit zu helfen. Es wurde alles angeboten von Roller Verleih über Schnorchel-Zubehör und auch mehrere Aktivitäten und Taxi Service zu sehr fairen Preisen. Das Frühstück wurde sogar jeden Tag zu gewünschter Zeit zum Zimmer gebracht, so dass man in Ruhe auf seiner kleinen Terrasse frühstücken konnte, dieses hat auch immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Good central location, staff was super friendly and helpful with any of our requests, the room was very big and comfortable, a huge bathroom and shower, breakfast was good, brought to our terrace.

Humidity smell when we first got into the room, but with the aircon on it was fine. You don’t really get a view, but the location to access the beach or anything else is good. You can hear the sounds of cars, scooters and music in the street, it wasn’t too too bad but we slept with earplugs.

Le lit est très confortable, la climatisation fonctionne bien, le déjeuner est incroyable, le personnel est souriant et attentionné.

Les moustiques arrivent quand même à pénétrer dans la chambre, la douche était un peu délabrée, les draps blancs avaient quelques petites traces.

propre, spacieux, très bien placé au centre d’amed, superbe vue, accès à la plage direct, super marché à 2 pas et Ketut est exceptionnellement gentil et serviable !

Tout était parfait, logement calme propre et bien équipé, bien situé près de la rue principal et la mee. Un énorme merci à notre gentil hôte extrèmement prévenant avec lequel nous avons eu le plaisir de finir une soirée en bavardant.

The breakfast was good. You get an egg choice/fruit plate/ tea or coffee/ fruit juice. Served to your room at a time of your choice. The staff was very welcoming and kind. We enjoyed a meal with them and had great conversations. Very friendly and happy to help. The room was large and quiet. Beds are comfy. If the price matches your budget, this is a great spot to stay for a night or two while you visit Amed.

Watch out for the hot water, your options for a shower are hot and more hot. Not a common problem!

Das Zimmer ist in einer perfekten Lage innerhalb Amed. Man erreicht zu Fuß super einfach ein paar Cafés und auch eine kleinen Supermarkt wo man alles des täglichen Bedarfs bekommt. Der Besitzer ist wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Neben der Unterkunft ist eine Bar die ab nachmittags laute Musik spielt bis abends um 23:00uhr. Wem das nicht stört macht bei der Unterkunft nichts verkehrt.

Das Team ist sehr herzlich und kümmern sich um alles. Jeder Frühstückswunsch wird erfüllt, sie haben einen sehr günstigen und guten Wäscheservice. Das Zimmer ist groß und sauber, das Bett sehr komfortabel.

Très bien dans l’état global, le personnel est très gentil, la chambre est très grande, à deux pas de la mer.

Gros problème sur le paiement, ayant choisi l’option de payé avec booking, lors de mon Check out, ils me disent que je n’ai pas payé, j’ai beau leur montrer la preuve sur mon téléphone, ils ne veulent rien savoir et me retienne, faite très attentions à ça.

Nos ha encantado el alojamiento, el personal muy amable, la habitación estaba súper limpia y había agua caliente de sobra, los desayunos deliciosos y adaptados a tu gusto y tu horario. De veras que el mejor alojamiento en el que nos hemos quedado en Bali.

Por descartar algo sería el wifi, que en ocasiones se le iba la conexión.

La limpieza del alojamiento es de lo mejor, muy limpio y nuevo. El personal es muy bueno y te ayudan en todo lo posible. El desayuno muy bueno también y muy completo.

Lo único malo es la insonorización (nuestra habitación era la más cercana a la carretera) luego tienes otras habitaciones más alejadas.

Wir hatten eine sehr schön Zeit in Amed. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und man ist gut zu Fuß unterwegs. Der Strand ist ebenfalls nur ein Steinwurf entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und lecker. Der Aufenthalt war rundherum sehr schön. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmsten weiterempfehlen.

Internet connection was patchy

It was a perfect place for a visit in Amed. The room, location and the owner Ketut and his staff made such a great job helping and proving anything we needed. We booked for three nights, and extended with two more nights because of Amed and Amed Permai Home Stay which were just amazing. The location is just a 2 minutes walk away from the beach, and has a beautiful view to the volcano Agung. Thank you very much Ketut for your hospitality and for helping with buying the ingredients for Dadar Gulung. We would definitely come back next time we visit Bali.

-spacious room and bathroom, very clean -delicious breakfast, delivered up to your terrace. Always on time -location is perfect. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Plenty of beaches for snorkelling as well -staff is absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay even more perfect. We rented a motorbike (fair price and good condition) and they organised taxis from padangbai to Amed and Amed to Ubud to an absolutely reasonable price. We felt like at home and it was one of the best stays we had during our 4 week Bali trip. Don’t look further, just book it! Thank you Ketut and Team!

Extremely happy with my stay here. The room was clean and spacious, the staff was super accommodating, breakfast was delicious and the location was great.

There was some construction next door that was a bit noisy at times.

La camera e la posizione stupende! La colazione era incredibile, ogni mattina servita sul tavolino fuori dalla stanza, con una premura ed una puntualità incredibili. Ma, soprattutto, lo staff ti fa sentire in famiglia. Ho lasciato il cuore a Amed, dove ogni sera era una buona occasione per sedersi al tavolo e parlare e bere con Ketut, Komang e anche altri loro amici. Un’esperienza unica, autentica. E se avete bisogno di organizzare spostamenti hanno anche un driver a disposizione, il mitico Putu! Miglior soggiorno in assoluto a Bali

Location was brilliant, lovely breakfast, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and staff were so kind. Ketut even invited us to have a Bali cocktails with him! Couldn’t recommend the place enough! Hope to see ye again😁

Un séjour parfait! Des chambres très propres et confortables, un personnel adorable et aux petits soins, un déjeuner délicieux servis le matin sur la terrasse du logement. Notre seul regret a été de ne pas pouvoir réserver de nuits supplémentaires car il était déjà complet! On espère avoir l’occasion d’y revenir!

Massive room and bathroom. The staff were soo lovely and very helpful.

It was very loud due to live bands playing late at night nearby. This is no reflection on the home stay as that was amazing :)

Staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The rooms were huge and clean and the shower was great too. The breakfast was diversed and well made. They also do bike rentals there.

Жилье Permai Home Stay прекрасное: уютная, большая, просторная комната с высокой удобной кроватью, столом, холодильником и кондиционером, большим шкафом для одежды, есть чайник, чай-кофе-сахар, бутылки с водой, чистые полотенца 5 штук, большая душевая с набором туалетных принадлежностей, сильнейший напор воды всегда и горячая вода всегда, уютная терраса, где каждое утро нам сервировали красивые и вкусные завтраки, чистота и красота по всей территории. Владелец Кетут очень добрый и душевный человек, он всегда на связи, ежедневно на территории, очень общительный, всегда со всем поможет, ответит, подскажет. Как старый добрый друг! Всегда улыбчивый и приветливый. Взяли в аренду скутер у него, цена отличная. Организовал трансфер нам из Санур в Амед - 2,5 часа по прекрасной дороге и недорого. Также организовал на трансфер в аэропорт, когда уезжали, недорого! Очень душевный тут обслуживающий персонал - улыбчивые, вежливые, помогают с любым вопросом. Локация идеальная!! Рядом магазины, сувениры, рестораны, варунги, фрукты - овощи, массажные салоны, большой супермаркет, кофейни, до пляжа 3 минуты. Великий Священный Агунг рядом как из фантастического фильма, а какая от него энергетика Силы и Света🙏🧘🏼‍♀️, это просто потрясающе!!! Пляж чистый, с черным вулканическим песком, красивое чистое море. Какое же Счастье жить для нас было в данном жилье. Мы не хотели уезжать по окончании отпуска. Permai Home Stay самое лучшее и идеальное жилье для отдыха в Амед. The rooms was spacious, clean and comfortable. The ac worked well and wasnt noisy, which meant i could use it at night. Breakfast was the best in all my Bali trip (4 different locations)!!!! Simple but tasty with fresh ingredients. Just delicious. It’s one dish you choose the day before, fresh fruit and coffee/tea.The omlette and noodles were just great! All the staff were very kind and they helped me rent a scooter and get a car transfer.

This really isnt about the homestay, but you need to know that there is construction going on next door. This means it can get noisy early in the morning, so you might not get to sleep in. This is, of course temporary. It is a shame that this new building is two storeys high, as it completely blocks the view to Mount Agung. Otherwise, you could eat breakfast looking at the vulcano :(

I loved the place, so close to the beach, the breakfast was delicious, the staff amazingly kind, the restaurant in the front has live music (but you don't hear them inside the room no worries). Everything was amazing. I loved it!

Прекрасный отель. Очень гостеприимные ребята, отзывчивые. Всегда помогут. Было суперчисто! Из всех отелей, в которых мы останавливались этот был самый чистый, самый комфортный. Очень удобная кровать. Мы хотели поснорклить утром и не могли проснуться) Завтраки тоже понравились, вкусно и хорошо себя чувствовали после них, а ещё они очень сытные. Точно рекомендую этот отель!

Прекрасный дружелюбный персонал! Девушки очень позаботились, когда мы попали в небольшую аварию, за это отдельное спасибо 💙 Просторный комфортный номер, удобная кровать, горячая вода и кондиционер работают без перебоев. Простые милые завтраки. Рядом пляжи для купания и снорклинга, классные варунги, магазин. Провели тут 2 недели, всё супер!

WiFi плохо ловит в номере, но на террасе отлично

Zeer ruim verblijf. De kamer is echt groot, heeft een grote en hoge douche en heeft een goed bed! Ontbijt heeft genoeg opties, is prima maar niet bijzonder. Zeer aardige eigenaren. Ik word zelfs uitgenodigd om een drankje met ze te drinken. Deze uitnodiging sla ik niet af.
