Bree House Malin Head

First I’d like to thank the hosts for accepting the booking even tho it was just one night - something they wouldn’t normally do, so this was much appreciated. Getting access via the key box was very easy. The house is large, with 5 (possibly 6) bedrooms. Some of the bedrooms are huge! 8 of us on motorcycles- car parking on drive was abundant. 2 bathrooms (some plumbing issues but didn’t cause us trouble) Kitchen very big, but we only used the kettle! Open fires with logs provided, again tho we didn’t use them. Gardens very big and walled and gated so pretty safe. Very quiet area, couple of nice pubs 20-30 mins walk.

Lovely house plenty of room for a big family gathering. Great for kids safe and gated. Games room for them to enjoy. Warm and fully equipped for all our needs. Our host kept in contact to make sure we were all good. Really appreciated that. Malin Head is magical and this house is in a perfect place to explore the area. Would highly recommend.

It was windy..... The front door letter box rattled in that. Not a big deal.

We had an amazing stay at Bree house in malin! We were a family of 12 with young children (1.5, 4, 6, 7 years old). We brought the kids bikes and they loved cycling around the house. There was plenty of space to park, we had 4 cars, and still lots of room for the kids to play. We also had 2 dogs, they are quiet, calm dogs that wouldn’t go far but the garden area seemed secure enough. We closed the gates to make the area secure for children and dogs. The house was big, lots of space for our 4 families to not feel on top of each other! There was one bedroom downstairs with two living rooms, a games room, a bathroom, a toilet and a large kitchen. The kitchen was definitely the main room for the family. The living room was very cosy and fit us all for games. There were 4 bedrooms upstairs, one with an ensuite and there was a bathroom. The showers were very powerful, you just had to boost the immersion for a bit to get hot water, there was enough for everyone! Lots of cupboard and fridge space in the kitchen. Wi-Fi. Tv. Beds were comfortable. The house was clean, and there were products there if we wanted to do our own cleaning during our stay. There was a washing machine and tumble dryer if needed. A dish washer and all the cooking apparatuses needed: oven, air fryer, microwave. There was a large fridge and freezer. Oh and there was a local shop Mullin’s a short drive or walk away. It was small but brilliant, a little grocery store, it has everything you could need and delicious whippy ice creams! Brilliant all round!! We hope to stay again when we return to the inishowen!

Large spacious house, lovely kitchen, plenty of appliances, good amount of beds and bedrooms. Plenty of choice even with 8 people. Very private, warm and cosy. Very friendly and accommodating owners.

Only downside was that the pool table had a bad roll to the middle.

There was 16 of us, we had so much space. It is out in the country but a short drive to anything you could need. Everything was provided all we needed was food and clothes.

The property was clean, very large space. The access was very easy. We did not have to call the owner as everything was provided. I would love to come back. Kids enjoyed a lot.

Every thing was perfect.

There was so much space for the whole family- 10 adults and 4 kids in total! The outdoor area was also huge and the kids loved it. The kitchen had absolutely everything we could need with the added bonus of a utility room. The games room as well was a huge hit! It’s situated in a wonderful location, the views are beautiful and the beach is a short 5-10 minute drive away.

Nothing, it was just perfect.

The property was a great size. There was 8 of us and it could have fitted double that. Property was clean and quiet. Was great location for travelling around the coast exploring. Laura the host made checking in and out easy and checked in to make sure everything was ok

Our host Laura was lovely and made us feel very welcome. She had left bread milk etc for us which was lovely. The house was huge with loads of space inside and loads of parking outside. The area was lovely with a shop nearby. Would highly recommend this place.

The house is amazing. So spacious and warm and equipped with everything that you could ever need. The enclosed garden is fantastic size with ample parking. Perfect location to all the sights in Malin Head and the most beautiful scenery. We brought our parents and our 3 dogs and they're already searching diary dates for our return.

Couldn't fault this property in any way.

What a house, we got the weather to!! Everything you need and we sat out in the sun amazing views of the mountains and local bars a short drive away , for the price its unbelievable 10 people staying ..Thankyou Anne-Marie x

Spacious, quiet and huge. Plenty of room for the 11 people that stayed. Kitchen was well equipped. House was lovely and warm when we arrived and heated quickly when needed. It was central enough to everything we needed.

We were a group of 10- 2 families with a mix of ages. The four teenagers had a wonderful time in the pool room and claimed a huge room at the top of the house with loads of beds. They had the most amazing weekend making memories. The younger kids loves the sunken dining room and spent most of their time at the table playing games close to the adults drinking wine at the large kitchen table! It is so beautiful in this part of Donegal you just can’t beat the solitude, quiet, beautiful walks and lots of things to do. Our host was wonderful the house was warm clean and had a few treats on our arrival. The kitchen is fully equipped for everything you’d need to cook- we cooked breakfast but ate out.

Spacious house and garden in a great rural location for exploring the area. Lovely view across the hills. Host excellent and quick to respond to any requests. As a family of adults we had a really enjoyable long weekend staying at Bree House.

It was very spacious and had everything we needed for a family break away with a large group of us.

The kids had a great time with the space around the house, the beautiful scenery around Malin that was everywhere you looked.

Extremely friendly host who was helpful throughout our stay, the place was very clean and is definitely recommended to larger groups. Everything needed for self catering is provided, will definitely be back
