Un séjour parfait ! Nadia est une hôte exceptionnelle : gentille, attentionnée et toujours disponible. On se sent accueilli comme à la maison. Le petit-déjeuner est tout simplement incroyable, copieux et délicieux. La chambre était très propre, confortable et agréable. Le riad est au calme, ce qui est très appréciable, tout en étant idéalement situé à seulement 15 minutes à pied de la place Jemaa el-Fna. Je recommande sans hésiter, et j’y reviendrai avec plaisir !

L'accueil a été exceptionnel, Nadia est bienveillante, attentive, disponible,cuisinière hors pair, de bons conseils... Le riad, très joli, est composé de 3 chambres. Nous en utilisions 2 et nous étions seuls. C'était un cocon bien sympa après la vie trépidante de Marrakech. Il est très bien placé dans la médina, très calme. Un vrai bonheur. Nous y avons passé un séjour d'exception. Je recommande vivement !

Ich hatte eine Woche lang das Glück, die unglaubliche Gastfreundschaft von Nadia in ihrem schönen Riad genießen zu dürfen. Die Lage und die Ausstattung des Riad sind perfekt, um das trubelige Marrakesch zu erkunden. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und gleichzeitig ist die Lage des Hotels sehr ruhig in einer netten Gegend. Das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen, das Nadia einmal für mich gekocht hat, waren exzellent (besser als in allen Restaurants!). Nadia ist eine außergewöhnliche Gastgeberin und ich werde immer wieder gerne zurückkehren.

I absolutely loved the amazing hospitality from Nadia. I was immediately greeted at the Riad and I absolutely loved the daily breakfast. Unfortunately, I fell sick during my trip however, Nadia provided amazing lemon ginger tea and Moroccan tea to help with my illness.

Le petit-déjeuner était absolument délicieux, très varié et préparé avec soin — un véritable régal pour les papilles ! Tout était fait maison, frais et servi avec le sourire. Nadia a vraiment un don pour mettre ses hôtes en confiance et se plie en quatre pour rendre le séjour agréable. Le riad est charmant, décoré avec goût, et parfaitement situé pour visiter Marrakech. Grâce à elle, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable. À notre prochain passage à Marrakech, nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Il Riad è molto bello e in una posizione centrale, ottima per visitare la Medina. Nadia è un’ottima host, ci ha accolto con tè tipico marocchino e biscotti, anche se siamo arrivati in tarda serata. Ogni mattina ci cucinava la colazione all’orario che preferivamo con pietanze tipiche del luogo (il suo tè è il migliore di tutta Marrakech, provare per credere) ed è sempre stata molto disponibile ogni volta che l’abbiamo contattata. Se dovessimo tornare a Marrakech torneremmo senza dubbio da lei. Super consigliato!

If you want an authentic local experience in a traditional riad (bed & breakfast) then Karam is perfect. Nadia is a great host. Helped by her daughter, she runs the two guest rooms on the first floor of their home. The building is peaceful and quiet, but well located among the chaos of the medina. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. It varied every day, allowing us to sample a variety of local breads, omelette and tagine. Nadia was attentive to dietary requirements and preferences. She even went out of her way to make special arrangements when she heard it was my birthday. The WiFi was recently upgraded so previous reviews about that can be ignored. Two things to note: if using Google maps, there are multiple "Riad dar Karam" in the medina, this is the one on Derb Zenboueh. Also, Nadia doesn't speak English but does speak clear and patient french (even with our broken french it was easy to communicate).

Nothing really. It's an old building so the room is hard to ventilate and you can sometimes hear noise from other rooms, but for us this is part of the charm of staying somewhere traditional.

Good location, it was close to many markets and restaurants. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good. Rooms were nice and spacious, overall a beautiful place to stay.

The Riad is located in a nice area, perfect for those who want to see an authentic part of the medina and not only the touristic zones. I appreciated the local market in the near streets, you only see local people and zero tourists, which is what i like the most usually. The Riad is very nice, clean and well made. It's simple, it feels like being at home. The room was big enough and the bathroom is also simple, clean and nice. The bed is comfortable and the shower is big. The real plus is that Nadia and Philip are just awesome! Nadia made me feel her son, literally cooking for me and only authentic moroccan specialities. I think i had my best food in Morocco from her. Philip is also a good chef, with a special talent for dessert (as french tradition wants!). If you are not looking for a Instagram experience but for a local, authentic and genuine Riad, this is exactly what you should go for. I will definitely come back here next time.

Excellent riad. The accommodation is exactly as in the pictures, i.e. comfortable bedroom directly connected (there is no door in between) to bathroom and toilet. Both compartments (the bedroom and the bathroom) are clean and well equipped and provide all needed for a comfortable stay. The riad itself is a historic house in an atmospheric small street of the old downtown of Marrakesh and its vintage style contributes for the overall atmosphere of the place. The truly exceptional ingredient of the riad are the hosts, Nadia and Phil. Nadia takes care the guests to experiences the best of Moroccan hospitality, starting with delicious and diverse traditional breakfast and going further to provide excellent recommendations how to enjoy Marrakesh in the best way possible. Very warm, personal and sincere, human atmosphere that in itself is unique ingredient of the experience.

Pour un premier séjour à Marrakech, nous ne regrettons pas d'être venus au Riad Dar Karam. Accueil chaleureux, riad magnifique et décoré avec goût. Le petit plus : les petits déjeuners pris sur la terrasse le matin, variés et copieux, nous nous sommes régalés ! Nadia s'est rendue disponible à chaque fois que nous en avions besoin. Nous nous sommes sentis comme " à la maison " et avons adoré passer notre voyage ici. Merci encore et à bientôt 🫶🏼

Comunicazione, accoglienza e disponibilità completa di Nadia. Pulizia eccellente in tutte le zona della struttura. Camera ampia e il bagno sembra una spa. Colazione ogni giorno fatta sul momento all’orario preferito con prodotti tipici sulla meravigliosa terrazza.Zona silenziosa, da cui si possono raggiungere tutti i punti di interesse a piedi o in taxi anche dall’aeroporto. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa accolti da questa famiglia.

We absolutely loved our stay! Nadia made us feel truly at home from the very first moment – she’s incredibly kind, helpful and always made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were delicious, fresh and beautifully served. The whole riad was spotless, cozy and smelled amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Marrakech. This Riad is in a quieter location of the Medina. The home is lovely decorated, and had a nice area in which to relax outside of our room. The rooftop terrace where breakfast is served is also very nice . Nadia the owner/host was very pleasant and helpful. She recommended a great local restaurant for dinner, which was very good. She also walked us to the meeting point for the driver she had booked for us (at our request) to take us to the train station when we were leaving. To top if off Nadiia served a delicious breakfast each of the 3 mornings we were there.

Nadia est particulièrement accueillante et chaleureuse. Disponible et sociable, elle est de bon conseil et lie facilement conversation. Ses petits-déjeuners, servis sur la terrasse, sont délicieux, variés et copieux. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Ce riad est une excellente adresse.

Esperienza stupenda, Nadia di una dolcezza incredibile, sempre disponibile e sempre attenta a tutto. Colazione fantastica, prodotti sempre freschissimi e buonissimi, sia dolci che salati. Nonostante sia centralissimo non si sente tutto il caos della Medina. Consigliamo vivamente di soggiornare qui e di godere di tutto questo!

The accomodation was authentic, very clean and has a perfect locatian. With only some steps we are already in the heart of the city. We enjoyed our very delicious breakfasts made by our kind host on the terrace. Everything was very delicious. Our host, Nadia was extremly kind and caring. Helped us with all our questions. Beautiful and relaxing Riad with a fantastic host! The house is an oasis of calm in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the Madina, close to all attractions with some excellent restaurants close bye. Nadia is an amazing host and really looks after her guests. The breakfast on the rooftop is a treat and a great way to start your day. I would definitely recommend.

To był nasz pierwszy pobyt w domu typu riad, w medynie. Było to bardzo ciekawe doświadczenie. Riad wybraliśmy na podstawie pozytywnych opinii i to był świetny wybór. Okolica jest bezpieczna, ale trzeba ignorować pana, który w okolicy riadu wykrzykuje, że ulica jest zamknięta (oczywiście nie daliśmy się nabrać, wcześniej o takich oszustwach czytaliśmy i Nadia również nas ostrzegała)😉 Pokój był bardzo klimatyczny i przestronny, klimatyzacja dobrze działała, prysznic był super przestronny. Gospodyni Nadia podawała naprawdę smaczne i urozmaicone śniadania na rooftopie. Nadia jest wspaniałą, ciepłą osobą, pomagała nam we wszystkich sprawach i się o nas troszczyła, za co jesteśmy jej ogromnie wdzięczni. Serdecznie dziękujemy za miły pobyt ☺️

Nadia is an amazing host. She made our stay in Marrakesh unforgettable.The breakfast is very delicious and offers a variety of traditional Moroccan dishes and really amazing Moroccan tea. The place is very clean and spacious with a large bathroom. The location is close to the busy streets of the medina but the street itself is small and quiet. It is really easy to get by foot to the main attractions and nice restaurants.

The property was lovely, very comfortable. Nadia also, although no English spoken so a little difficult with the language barrier. I think it would have been good to replace the towels during the weeks stay but it didn't happen. For me personally the location was a bit far out and not easy to find, especially in the dark.

Nadia was the best host ever; she came to greet us to the taxi, helped with booking a hammam, and so on. Despite the language barrier, we could discuss everything. We really felt at home and had perfect, tasty, homemade breakfasts. The Riad is about 15 minutes walk from Jamaa el Fna, but is in a more quiet area. Nadia was also very flexible, as a lot of programs in Marrakech start at 8, so we had a few early breakfasts as well. We slept extremely well; it was quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Nadia is a great host, the absolute best that you could imagine and she is so generous and very helpful. She really cares about her guests and their well being. She is a fantastic chef and the meals that she made for me were better than any restaurant. When I needed directions to go somewhere she offered to escort me there, when I needed help with anything, like getting a SIM card they went and got one and assisted me with it's instructions. The accommodation was great, the bedroom and bathroom were very nice and the bed was really comfortable, I slept like a baby. After I left to continue my trip in Morocco she messaged me a few times to see how things were going and to ask how I was doing. She is a wonderful and caring person.

Nadia is the perfect host, very helpful. Everything very clean. And a wonderful breakfast! everything cooked in front of you, abundant, varied and different food everyday. Is a very comfortable riad, on a walking distance of the main attractions. Very good value for money.

Nadia was the kindest host we could’ve asked for, she really made us feel welcomed and at home. She gave us good advice for the local area and made us an amazing breakfast! Everything was very clean and comfortable, would definitely stay here again!

The riad is very easy to get to via taxi (You can't take a taxi to the front door, but you can use Poste Bab el-Khemis as a good drop-off/pick-up point). It's about a 5 minute walk from there. The riad is on a side street on the north side of the medina, which meant it was very calm. I liked not immediately stepping into a crowed when I exited the front door. At night, the riad was quiet. Nadia is an attentive host and makes delicious breakfast each morning. She gave us a restaurant recommendations and suggested using InDrive to request a cab. I appreciated her sharing her local knowledge.

We were almost charged for playing backgammon. The charge was removed, but it seemed odd. If you see the game out, I don't recommend playing it.

Nadia was a welcoming host. I felt as if I spend a few nights in my auntie’s house. She is very caring and her breakfasts are wonderful. Highly recommend.

I was a little surprised that there wasn’t any hand soap. Luckily, it wasn’t a problem as I carry my hand sanitizer everywhere.

Riad Dar Karam is pretty easy to get to once you have the correct address. The problem is that there is a different address (at the time of this review) on Google maps. The real address is 20 Derb Zenboueh. A good drop off point is the Poste bab el-khemis…it is an easy 5 minute walk from there.

I had a lovely stay at this Riad in Marrakesh. The location was ideal—quiet yet close to the main attractions. Nadia, the host, was welcoming and helpful, making the stay easy and enjoyable. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, a great way to start the day. I’d definitely recommend this Riad for a comfortable visit to Marrakesh.

The Riad is a lovely place to stay, the room was very spacious and clean and the communal areas are nice. The hosts are incredibly helpful and accommodating, they were kind enough to do some early breakfasts for me and help with taxis. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous location. Wonderful hospitality shown by Nadia and Tawfik who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. Beautifully presented rooms and communal spaces. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t have had a better stay here. The riad is beautifully decorated, functional, perfectly peaceful and quiet in the busy medina. Everything in the room was extremely well thought out and it was the cleanest riad I stayed in during my trip, with the best shower I experienced on my whole trip. Nadia is a perfect host, she is extremely kind, helpful, and accommodating. Always available to help! Made me feel like home and she makes the best tea and breakfast that I had during my trip. Everything at this stay was perfect and there is attention to every detail! I know exactly where to book when I come back to Marrakech and will be recommending to everyone.

The experience was beautiful, the host made feel at home. The food was excellent, home cooking. All fresh. The rooms and the beds are very comfortable.

The car doesn’t arrive to the door. You have to walk a minute or two to reach the hotel. But the hotel staff was excellent and responsive, if you call they will meet you and help you with your luggage.

Felt home enjoyed every bit of it, great host and hospitality was beyond and above the expectations definitely will visit again and again …

Very helpful people and a great place to stay rooms are very nice

I stayed at Riad dar karmen for 6 nights. Nadia is super nice and very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was as in the picture so I got what I expected and it was very comfortable. The rooftop terrace was my favourite spot but I also chilled out in the communal area which is beautifully tradicional when it was raining. The breakfasts are substancial and very tasty, I love all the different types of bread and pastries served. Nadia doesn't speak English and I only have school girl French but we had some nice conversation with the help of Google translate!! I also had dinner in the Riad twice and I can honestly say itwas better than the other dinner I ate outside, very good value and again substantiantial and very tasty. The riad is a short walk to most things and at night its very quiet. I definitely recommend a stay here, it is very good value and Nadia makes it feel like home.

The location of the riad was great, very central and could walk to most places around the Medina. The rooms were well sized. The host (Nadia) is amazing and was very accommodating of anything we needed during our stay. She also let us leave our bags on the day we checked out. She doesn't speak any English but we managed quite well by using google translate. Breakfasts every morning were delicious - freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, traditional moroccan bread and spreads with mint tea!

The only thing to call out would be that the bathrooms (shower and toilet) didn't have any doors so that might be quite awkward

Very nice, pleasant and clean Riad at a quiet place in the Medina, although everything is nearby at walking distance. The rooftop is also very nice. The hostess is very friendly, hospitable and service-oriented. And a great cook also! We had a fantastic stay at Riad Dar Karam.

Location is near the heart of the Medina. It was quiet and cool. It was beautifully decorated and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was a traditional Moroccan spread of delicious breads and toppings. The owner, Nadia, was kind and generous with her time. She helped me to find a few souvenirs that I had wanted to buy and she even did the bargaining for me! I had an excellent stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay in the bustling Marrakech Medina.

I traveled solo at first and was joined by a friend a day later, we both agreed this was the best experience staying at Nadia’s Riad Dar Karam. It felt like visiting family! Nadia was so welcoming and we felt we were in safe hands. If you’re staying at Nadia’s you must try her famous couscous - made with love and care! The best we had in the city hands down. Riad Dar Karam feels like home away from home. Thorough enjoyed my stay; from breakfast, the wonderful terrace, to Nadia’s Moroccan mint tea, the whole experience was wonderful

The owner lady was super kind. The breakfast(handmade bread, omelette, fresh orange juice, mint tea and coffee) was amazing. The room was also very comfortable, and my favourite was the terrace! They called taxis for us from the airport to the Riad. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Marrakesh!
