Reviewed Aug 15, 2026The huts were clean and quiet. The only noise we heard during the night was from mangoes falling on our roof. The staff were fantastic and treated my 86-year-old mother-in-law with great respect. Activities were easily arranged through Brian. A highlight was island hopping on Brian's cousin's boat. We were also able to arrange transportation to and from Puerto Princesa, a tour to the subterranean river, and a final shopping stop before our flight. The location is on the edge of town, but town was easily accessible by walking along the beach. The resort was quiet, and it was nice to sit by the water. Meals were great, and the dinners by the beach were fantastic. For one meal, Brian and Angie took us to the seafood market and we selected what to cook for dinner. Angie is a great cook! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the resort and highly recommend a stay.
At the time of visit, Port Barton was rationing power. The resort had a generator that kicked in for a while when the power was off in town but the wifi would also be knocked down. This is no fault of the resort and was not unique to the resort, but people should know what to expect if fuel rationing continues.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Cette institution en bout de plage, un des premiers hôtels de Port Barton avec son jardin et son bungalow numéro 1 face à la mer! Nous y étions pour une semaine et nous avons été la plupart du temps tout seuls
Peut-être le fait que ce super endroit se repose un peu sur ces acquis et sa réputation… pas de petits gestes sympas, demander pour que l’on nous nettoie une fois la chambre sur la semaine, il pleut vraiment énormément, on ne nous demande pas si nous avons besoin de quoi que ce soit…on a ressenti que c’était une période creuse…

De verlichting bv je kon bij het bed alleen maar de grote lamp aan zetten. Elektriciteit naast het bed werkte niet. Geen kastjes naast het bed om bv je telefoon op te leggen.

Reviewed May 31, 2026Amazing views of the sea front and the grounds of the accommodation were very peaceful. Brian and his team made the stay very pleasant, they were extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. Some of the highlights were around all the animals were very friendly, including two cats which spent most mornings with us on the terrace, of which are cared for very well, would definitely stay again.
Everything was perfect, only thing to note was getting dropped off on the tuk tuk is a bit strange due to the location of the property, requires a little walk but not a deal breaker whatsoever

The owner Brian is the nicest and most helpful hosts, he knows all the answers, helps you book tours, transport and anything else! Great value for money, of to come back to Port Barton, we will stay only in Greenview!

Notre bungalow n’était pas très propre et plusieurs taches sur les tapis et serviettes. À notre arrivée, une personne nous a donné la clé puis nous a montré notre bungalow sans rien nous dire. Nous avons du demander des informations afin de savoir où on allait déjeuner, comment ça fonctionnait, c’était à quelle heure. Personne ne nous a informé de l’arrêt du courant entre 4am et midi, bref pas beaucoup de communication. Nous avons demandé un rouleau de papier de toilette après 3 nuits et ils nous ont dit qu’il n’y en avait plus et que ça irait au lendemain. Bref, l’établissement est peu confortable, nous avions peu d’espace pour notre famille de 4 dans lendemain bungalow. Nous nous demandons pourquoi cet établissement est si bien noté…et nous ne sommes pas des touristes exigeants.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Het ligt prachtig in een tuin aan het strand. Op het strand genoeg ligstoelen. De kamers zijn praktisch en sfeervol. Elektriciteit is er niet continu. Maar voldoende. Ontbijt is prima, ze hebben lekkere curry's. Een nadeeltje, je moet even door een zijstroom lopen van de zee ( hoogste is ongeveerkniehoogte), of met een triksja om rijden om bij het dorp en de andere strand eethuisjes te komen. De zonsondergang is fantastisch. Mensen erg aardig.

But sadly, when we arrived we were informed that there would be power outage from 4am-12nn everyday because the electricity provider of Port Barton sort of cannot supply enough due to increase in diesel prices. I understand. But I booked as early as ____, I would've appreciated it if I was asked if that was okay for me so that if not, I could cancel and refund the booking and find another accommodation which could provide 24hours electticity. Unfortunately for me, this was not the case. Also,.1st day of breakfast, I asked the staff where i can get water. I was told that they only have bottled water. Okay. I went back.to my room to get my tumbler, I have my own water anyway. When I went back to the resto there was a family of foreigners also having breakfast. Then I saw another staff give them water in a pitcher WITH ICE. Wow. I was more than stunned. I was actually hurt. How come foreigners were served/provided water while we Filipino tourists were not? Oh well.

Lots of dogs and cats which we loved. Sunsets were great. Local in-house restaurant with curry selections were fantastic - the best we had in the Philippines. Would love to come back.

En général nous avons été vraiment déçu de cet établissement. L’accès est tout à fait problématique (sentiers rocailleux et vraiment pas accessible pour tous). Les cabanes sont vétustes et très mal équipées. Aucun rangement, crochet, une toute petite tablette et une petite table de nuit. Internet tout à fait nul. Plage peu accueillante. Pleins d’ouvertures au niveau du plancher de bois favorisant l’accès aux insectes. L’ensemble de la propriété est à l’abandon !

L’eau chaude, la climatisation et les petits déjeuners inclus. Brian qui sera au petit soin avec vous et de bon conseil. A l’improviste il vous fera aussi un BBQ sur la plage devant l’hôtel

Das Ganze ist einfach in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte dringend einen neuen Anstrich bzw. eine Modernisierung.

Right on the beach and close to all the restaurants/shops but a little bit away so you don’t hear the noise. It was clean and comfortable. The host was amazing, even took us on a day trip to a local beach to see crystals. They helped us with our washing and recommended awesome things to do. Would love to come back and visit again!

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026Nice little bungalows in a lovely garden setting right on the beach, with large outside seating area. Brian was a charming host, we enjoyed talking to him. He enjoys collecting treasures from the beach and using them to make creative dreamcatchers and decorations that he hangs around the property. He gave me a lovely piece of driftwood to bring home. The restaurant serves delicious food, cooked by Brian's mum, would definitely recommend eating there. It was one of the few places that are right on the beach, but within walking distance of town, so we were very happy with the location. Good breakfast, a comfortable good value stay.
Access along the beach would be a little challenging for the less able.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026La struttura, composta di bungalow all’interno di un bellissimo giardino e proprio sulla spiaggia, è immersa nella natura e dà un senso di accoglienza e di tranquillità; ogni bungalow ha un balconcino su cui solitamente ti aspetta uno dei tanti gatti che vuole farsi fare le coccole e ti tiene un po’ di compagnia. La struttura centrale dove si fa colazione su un terrazzo ha una splendida vista sulla spiaggia e su tutta la baia. Inoltre sulla spiaggia si può usufruire delle sdraio e delle sedie per rimanere sulla spiaggia davanti all’hotel. La colazione è molto buona. Il soggiorno è reso ancora più piacevole dallo staff e da Brian che si prodiga ad aiutarti nell’organizzazione delle tue giornate, tra giri in barca, escursioni su spiagge vicine e altri modi per trascorrere il tuo soggiorno. È stata una settimana piacevolissima e tornerei volentieri appena possibile!

Hubo algunos días que no tuvimos agua caliente. Además, un día nos alquilaron un kayak que estaba roto. Es cierto que luego nos devolvieron el dinero del kayak y se disculparon de buenas formas.

Brian is really taking good care of his guests - arranging tours, booking transfers, even bringing us to the airport shuttle station in his ow car when tuk-tuks did not arrive :-) Thank you! Even though the hotel is at a far end of the bay, all the seafront restaurants are within walking distance. If you don't mind walking barefoot and crossing a small river, the walk takes about 5 minutes to the closest beachfront restaurant. There is a small bridge to cross the river for those wearing shoes (or at high tide), just take a flashlight with you, just in case.
Yes, the hotel is located on a beach, but it could not be considered a swimming beach. That was our general learning from the Philippines - the best beaches are on small islands, not at the beach-front hotels. Reviewed Jan 12, 2026Super Lage direkt am Strand am Ende von Port Barton. Geräumige, schöne Cottages mit kleiner Veranda/Balkon mitten im Garten der Anlage. Die Cottages sind mit Klimaanlagen ausgestattet. Herzlicher Gastgeber. In der Unterkunft kann man auch gut essen und von der Veranda oder auf den Strandliegen den Sonnenuntergang genießen.
Ein Wasserspender fehlt.

Reviewed Jan 10, 2026Nous avons passé un séjour formidable au Greenviews, l'emplacement est idéal, et donne directement accès à la plage. Brian, qui gérait le resort au moment de notre venue a été très gentil flexible et serviable : il nous a notamment prodigué de très bons conseils sur quoi faire à Port Barton. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le restaurant, très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous recommandons donc ce resort pour votre séjour à Port Barton ! Ps : même si des panneaux sur la plage indiquent la présence de méduses dans l'eau nous nous sommes baignés sans problème et n'avons pas été piqués
