Tortuga - Peaceful Holiday Home with Loadshedding Backup

Vi ble oppgradert fra leilighet i annekset, til å ha hele hovedhuset for oss selv. Fullt utstyrt, masse plass, en koselig hage og terrasse under tak. Vertskapet var utrolig imøtekommende, og tilgjengelig når vi trengte det, og møtte oss på våre forespørsler. Anbefales på det varmeste!

We enjoyed the peaceful nature and homeliness of the place. Everything just exuded comfort. It had everything a self-catering accommodation should offer. The delicious avocados were such a delightful surprise. They were wonderful! The TV had so many series and movies to watch as well. A great place for a home-away-from-home kind of rest. It's quite close to the shops and to one of the beaches. It's perfectly situated. The place is also really safe and secure and the deck with the swings was so inviting and catered to our lazy holiday dispositions. What a treat!

We loved everything. The temperature of the shower water had mood swings and the TV's speaker cut out a little, but those were really small things. This place is great!!

Loved everything about this property. We stayed for two weeks as part of a four-week stay while we were doing volunteer work at a nearby school and the property was fantastic. It was like living in a place, not touristy (for us) and very 'real.' The property was fabulously furnished, comfortable. We felt right at home. There was also a cupboard full of condiments and spices which was great as it meant we didn't have to go out and buy everything. We didn't use the braai area, but spent a lot of time outdoors on the veranda. I also loved that the garden was full of native plants and spent ages trying to identify the different flora and the wildlife - birds - that it attracted. We really miss it there - not just the house, but the town and the people - and the avocado tree!

Everything you need while on holiday was available in the house. The comfort is amazing. No stone was left unturned to make our stay Awesome. It is perfect for a family holiday.

The location, the amenities suited for a family with kids, clean and friendly easy going hosts.

The internet was a bit difficult to connect to initially but luckily the hosts gave us some tips and we managed to resolve the issue.

Very secure, quiet, comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities. Access to the yard and main house front porch when no-one else is there.

The kitchen is great but figuring out how the coffee maker works took some time; the manager supplied the online version. Very responsive communication throughout our stay.

Lovely home and garden with an amazing stoep to relax in. Loved the fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher,yay! A full bathroom for each of the 2 families was great.

A stunning outside area to enjoy with the family. The atomspher of a lived home was wonderful.

Everything available for a very comfortable stay. Loadshedding equipment a great plus. Owner and House Manager answered the few queries we had and were very helpful.

Very clean, beautiful and peaceful. The detail in terms of utensils and facilities in the house is amazing. There is literally nothing that is not there. I can't wait to be back, it is indeed a home away from home. The hosts are amazing 👏 😍.

We had an amazing stay in this beautifully maintained house, which offered us peaceful surroundings and comfortable beds. The house is thoughtfully equipped with everything one would need to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The two bathrooms in the house each had a bath and a shower, which filled everyone's needs. The outside deck was the highlight of our stay, boasting a large table with cushioned bench seats, a Weber braai, and two hanging egg chairs that were in high demand among our group. The spacious enclosed garden was perfect for the kids and they were kept entertained with the wide array of toys and games supplied. They were also thrilled with the huge TV available in the house. Located just a short drive (1.8km) from the picturesque Myoli Beach and with Pick n Pay within walking distance, the location of this house is unbeatable. The area is incredibly peaceful, and Sedgefield is the perfect base from which to explore the Garden Route. We had an unforgettable time here and cannot wait to return.

Everything was great! Just had to remember to put the gas geyser on in the granny flat.
