The house was more like a Home. It's in a very good location . We felt like our home 🏡

Great Stay. Its very close to beach, walking distance. The property is exactly as per the photos, very clean and nice. Surrounded by coconut, mangoes, Chiku and many more trees. Dinner especially was amazing with lot of seafood dishes prepared by the host. Awesome taste, must try. Would love to stay again at the same property.

I suggest putting mini sofa to seat and relax.

This property is home away from home. Managed by Pratik and his parents. Very warm host, never felt like if we were staying at a homestay. The food prepared by Kaki was amazing. Beach is 7 -8 min walk. Property is surrounded by lush green plants. Very rustic but very peaceful. The best is they rent the two rooms only for the family. I would recommend anyone who wants to plan their stay with family as stags are not allowed. Beautiful, peaceful and serene place to stay. Thanks Pratik and thanks to uncle n Kaki for the amazing food n hospitality. Will definitely visit again in future.

our stay was beyond amazing. first our room on the first floor with a big terrace immaculately clean and proper and new.breezy and airy . exhausted after a long bustrip down the cost, we asked the homestayfamily for some dinner.and prasanna, the son came up with most delicious homecooked food. his mother just prepared in the kitchen. every dish he could explain to us. some of the vegetables from their garden. prasanna was really a delight, to listen to. heartwarming and attractive the way prasanna deals with his guests. thanx, and all the best to all of u.we`ll come back

The family are fantastic hosts who go out of their way to serve you with the best experience! Kaka and kaki are the sweetest people you'll meet. They served us lip smacking pohe and tea within 30 mins of ordering!

The hosts were so helpful and caring ( they even came to the bus station to make sure we got on the right bus ) . We have given all categories 10 because compared to other places in India ( we are 4 weeks in) they merit that score . It was in a lovely quiet position just 3 minutes easy walk to the beach . Pratima is a fantastic cook conjuring up delicious meals on request in advance , her husband Prakash welcomed us with warmth and sincerity nothing was too much trouble for him . Their son Prasanna could not do enough to make our stay memorable . It was the type of stay you didn’t want to leave .

I had an incredible experience at this beach side Malgudi homestay in Murud, nestled in the heart of Konkan. It was nicely maintained, close from the beach. Pleased by the hospitality.

We liked room, it's really ideal for 2 families or 8 to 10 people going towards Murud janjira. Surrounding is very peaceful, beach is just 2 mins away. Beach is very beautiful even though it's not white sand. Kids enjoyed swim n water sports. Very less crowded beach n beach side where we stayed. Walking on beach early morning n evening is memorable. Sunrise n sunset very memorable. Town is very beautiful, especially the market areas. We did fort n historical tour so we did Alibag fort Colaba, Revdanda fort, Korlai fort then came to Janjira and Padmadurga fort. Food we had was very tasty. We had asked local speciality so they prepared Chicken wade, then evening had fish curry n fry then had a dish called Sanjan Mutton with kokam saar, it was very delicious still unforgettable food experience. Hosts gave us very warm welcome. It's just 3 hrs 45 mins or precisely 157 kms from Pune, we reached in less time as tamhini road is good for driving. We liked the stay as it was value for money though it's self service, they gave us possession of room. Delicious food, market walk, beach walk and our trip where we wanted to explore history with family. Forts are really very picturesque and full of history. I recommend Malgudi Stays.

There's nothing as such but it's self service... which is actually good because cost wise its beneficial for guests as it reduces their cost. However nothing to complain.
