Zoro ist großartig. Er gibt alles für zufriedene Gäste und wenn ihr was benötigt, kennt er jemanden, der es günstig anbietet. Es ist sehr ruhig und zentral direkt am monkey forest.

I love staying at Vin Vin House. I am so happy to come back here after two years. It was my first hostel in Bali, and I have so many beautiful memories from here. This is a true home away from home. The dormitory room has a quiet space, and the bunk beds are sturdy. The garden is so pretty, and I love Jojo's art at every corner. I will definitely come back someday!

Friendly staff, nice energy, and everything was clean and tidy. Very authentic place to stay in Ubud. I was supposed to stay one night and end uo staying more days.

This is hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in Bali—and that’s saying a lot since I’ve been to Bali over ten times! The hostel is incredibly cozy, clean, and uniquely designed. The location is perfect: it’s within walking distance to the Ubud Palace, and right outside you’ll find a Circle K, laundry services, and massage shops. The entire street is lined with countless restaurants and cafes, yet the hostel itself remains remarkably quiet at night. Another huge plus is the room's high ceilings (at least a few meters tall!), which give the bunk beds plenty of space. Even one of my roommates, who is 6'3", mentioned how comfortable and spacious it felt. I’m definitely coming back here after my next visa run to Ubud!

Super goede locatie. In het centrum van Ubud, je kan gemakkelijk lopen naar restaurants en winkels. Het ligt aan een iets rustigere straat. Beste hostel waar ik ooit heb verbleven. De slaapzaal is super ruim. Het is schoon. De eigenaren zij heel lief, behulpzaam en super gastvrij. Zoro, de eigenaar biedt zelf ook tours aan voor een heel goede prijs, echt perfect!

From the minute I arrived everyone was so welcoming. The homestay is stunning, the attention to detail of the bathrooms, beds, hostel area are absolutely gorgeous, koi carp, calm running water, a stocked fridge of water and drinks if you want. Zoro was really engaging and we loved chatting. So affordable too, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place if you need something affordable and quiet as well as still being near to everything.

The shower water didn’t get hot.

Most lovely staff I have ever met, my phone got smashed on the way there and they helped us find a place to fix it and were just brilliant. They let us into their home and it was gorgeous, the facilities were lovely and it was in the perfect location. Would recommend

I can really recommend vin vin house. It's run by very friendly and helpfull people. Also all facilities are of good quality and there is enough space. I also slept really well here. It's just outside of the busy part of town, but you can still walk everywhere. Would really recommend coming here!

Vin Vin is a special place, I've never stayed at another hostel like it. The owners are so warm and beautiful, you feel like part of the family. When I came back to collect my luggage hours after I checked out they even let me take a shower. Zoro (the owner) will give you great advice for the area and can organise well priced tours if you need them. The area is safe, the garden beautiful and the hostel clean, well built and modern with traditional Balinese furnishings. The beds are comfortable, and it's a beautiful serene place away from the chaos of Ubud. This is definately not a party hostel, and very chill. I will definately be back! ❤️

Absolutely nothing I can't fault it

From start to finish, my stay here was wonderful. The location couldn’t be better, the room was always clean and cozy, and I looked forward to the fresh coffee every morning. Zozo and his family are such kind and welcoming hosts — they truly make you feel like part of their family. I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place !

A small, quiet, family-run hostel. I really liked its traditional decor and family photos on the terrace. The hostel is located on a quiet street. The hosts are very welcoming. The room is clean. The mattresses are very good. The beds have curtains. Thank you very much, only very good impressions.

Zoro’s place is super nice, very cosy, clean and overall very comfortable to stay at.

Habia un olor muy desagradable que no me dejo descansar pero me imagino que tuve mala suerte….

Propre, bien situé, calme. La famille est super gentille ! On se sent à la maison. Le dortoir est grand et les lits très confortables.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr neu und die Betten groß und gemütlich. Man merkt kaum, dass es theoretisch ein 10-Bettzimmer ist, aber während meines Aufenthalts war es auch nicht ausgebucht. Die Lage ist super ruhig, aber dennoch ist man mit dem Grab schnell im Zentrum und vor der Tür gibt es auch alles was man benötigt.

Fällt mir nichts ein :)

Beautiful hostel in quiet corner of Ubud. Perfect location with all central Ubud in walking distance. Free teas and coffee available. Bed is very comfortable and private, The hosts, Zoro and his family including family dog are so friendly and welcoming and make you really fell part of the family. Nice sociable hostel and great vibe ! I’ve stayed here twice now and met wonderful people

L’emplacement est idéal, très proche du centre et en même temps dans une rue bien plus calme. La qualité de sommeil est top, les lits sont confortables et l’environnement est très calme. Il n’y a qu’un seul dortoir de 8 lits, donc comité restreint, sentiment d’intimité. La salle de partage est très agréable, avec thé et café offerts, un jeu d’échec. Les sanitaires sont propres et agréables. Je reviendrai sans hésiter lors de mon prochain séjour à Ubud. Zoro et sa famille sont très accueillants et lumineux.

Il m’a juste manqué un peu d’espace pour faire mon sport et mes étirements, mais j’ai pu le faire dans le dortoir quand il n’y avait personne.

I feel so lucky I've booked this place! It's perfect if you look a small, quite and peaceful place while exploring Ubud! Zoro and the family where all great and made us feel like home! They helped with everything we needed! The room is very clean and comfy and the common area has a great vibe! The location is great as well! I extended my stay twice and I wish I could stay even more! Totally recommended! 10/5 stars!

Small family-run hostel in a perfect location. Super friendly owners, everything is newly built, comfy beds and very cute hostel dog. Nice and relaxed atmosphere, there's free coffee and tea all day. Highly recommend!

Such a comfortable stay. Perfectly clean rooms & bathrooms. Spacious dorm & locker area. Really well sized & private beds. The staff are so helpful & provide a wonderful Balinese style breakfast on request

Super lovely atmosphere, very comfortable and clean. Very personal little place and everything is close by. They did a home cooked meal for me once (for a small price of course) and it was absolutely amazing. They remembered everyone’s name and it was just lovely staying there. Will definitely come again.

I liked the vibe of the garden and the open space of the common room. Good for socializing if you have the luck to meet the right people. The comfy mattress in the bed.

Very bad smell in the dorm room, especially at night, and I couldn't sleep. After checking in, I asked the owner to sign me for an extra paid breakfast for the next two days I'm staying. He confirmed, but the next morning, there was no breakfast prepared for me. When I asked again, the owner apologized that he forgot, but tomorrow it will be for sure. The second morning, I came to the reception and the wife of the owner said there was no breakfast and they must forget it. So I was disappointed and after the first request, I was hoping that they would respect my order. Edit + I'm not complaining. I add a description of the things I dislike from my point of view. I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't know you lost your grandmother. Please don't be judgmental about my person if you don't know me. I just shared my experience staying in a hostel.

Hostel is really cozy felt really welcome and enjoy meeting the family and the culture through them.

I loved my stay here. And would definitely come again next time I'm in Ubud. Everything was great, lovely host family, really clean and cozy. And I would totally recommend going on a bike tour with Zoro to discover Ubud area !

Great place to stay, if you are travelling on your own. Friendly family, close to streetlife/attractions.

Second shower would be nice in the future, also maybe its worth to use an infoboard where u are able to put your name if interested in breakfast/dinner.

Der Geruch im Zimmer, die Klimaanlage verteilte einen Benzingeruch. Ich habe eine sehr sensible Nase, andere haben es nicht so wahrgenommen. Ich würde deswegen leider nicht mehr kommen. Alles Andere war vollkommen okay.

Best hostel in Ubud! The staff were sooooo amazing and the vibe is outstanding! I was only supposed to stay for 2 nights and ended up staying for a whole week!

The owner was such a nice guy who really gave off the vibes of Bali, felt like a really authentic experience. Him and his family were so sweet and welcoming. The beds were super clean and comfortable, I slept great. The vibes of everyone staying at the hostel was absolutely incredible also, made some really cool memories here and recommend you to book here as well!

I enjoyed my stay at Vin Vin's family, for me was exceptional. They are super friendly and always keen to help with everything! They have cute dogs and a really comfy area to have a chat with other travellers, always quiet and respectful ambience :) highly recommend!

The welcoming attitude of the family. It really feels like a homestay with the perks of being in a hostel, with like minded internationals.

Das Hostel liegt etwas abseits der Hauptstraße, daher war es sehr schön ruhig. Trotzdem ist man sehr schnell auch zu Fuß im Zentrum. Die Inhaber führen es sehr familiär und sind extrem freundlich und unterstützend. Insgesamt kommt man rasch in Kontakt mit den anderen Reisenden da es einen schönen gemeinsamen Garten gibt. Ich habe mich dort unheimlich wohlgefühlt und noch um ein paar Nächte verlängert.

Vin Vin is a piece from heaven and is very intimate. The owners are kind and give good advice. You can relax, meet other travelers and listen to their life stories. The location is very central, close to most activities in Ubud. My only regret is that I could not stay longer! Best hostel I have stayed in and very comfortable beds.
