- the beautiful hostel (confortable beds, nice pool, great infrastructures) - the vibe : very calm, yet met incredible people - the location : in the center of the city, close to everything - the staff that is always so nice - the free yoga classes and 15 minutes massages (register early for the massage as the schedule is quickly busy) Extended my trip here as I didn’t want to leave !

Die Anlage ist super schön gestaltet - es fühlt sich an wie ein Resort! Die Zimmer (4er Female Dorm) sind sehr sauber, die Betten sind sehr breit! Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es werden viele soziale Aktivitäten angeboten, es war trotzdem ruhig.

Es ist natürlich etwas teurer für ein Hostel, aber es war wirklich ein schöner Aufenthalt. Einzig dass das Waschbecken im Zimmer und nicht im Bad ist, finde ich nicht gut durchdacht.

Très jolie avec une ambiance agréable. La chambre partagée est confortable. Et l’emplacement est parfait. J’ai passé un agréable séjour.

The food menu very limited

Dorms had double beds which were so comfy, shower facilities were clean and really liked the interior design. The food and drinks menu offered variety and was so reasonable. 80 for a cocktail! Swimming pool and view was stunning, had pool cleaners regularly collecting the leaves. Really enjoyed the seating area as well, by the pond with the fish. 15 min free massage! Cocktail menu was insane- loved the passionfruit Caiprihana Just felt so tranquil- such value for money.

I think the gym area could offer more equipment. Yoga class could be on later in the day, or offer 2. One in the morning and one around 6ish. Free breakfast could be on until 10.30am

Massa minimalista. Sense tovalloles de lavabo, sense cadires a l'habitació per seure i sense nevera ni cap espai per no deixar la maleta a terra. Menjar molt bo pero també minimalista

Nothing...overpriced and overrated. No kettle, a rod to hang all your clothes, no seating...we had to ask for the chair you see in the room.

This is a backpackers hostel....paid for 4 nights and stayed 1. If you like to get a coffee in bed this place is not for you. Very basic accomodation....you get a bed...what do you want more. Staff know the issues and are ready with responses...you should have read booking.com details...no we don't do this....we don't do that.

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, en pleno centro de Ubud y muy cómoda para moverse caminando. Las zonas comunes son bonitas, la piscina está muy bien y el ambiente general del alojamiento es agradable. También queremos destacar la amabilidad del personal, que siempre respondió educadamente a nuestros mensajes e intentó ayudarnos cuando comunicamos los diferentes problemas. El concepto del hotel nos gustó y precisamente lo elegimos por sus excelentes valoraciones.

Lamentablemente, nuestra experiencia con la habitación fue bastante diferente de lo que esperábamos después de leer las excelentes valoraciones. Estuvimos 12 días y aproximadamente 9 de ellos tuvimos que lidiar con algún tipo de problema en la habitación. Reservamos una habitación cabina con spa bath, pero aparecieron hormigas grandes alrededor de la bañera, entre las piedras del suelo, en la entrada e incluso cerca de la cama. También tuvimos bastantes mosquitos dentro de la habitación. La zona de la bañera es parcialmente abierta al exterior, por lo que pueden entrar insectos y lluvia y solicitamos que la cubrieran. La cabaña de madera tampoco nos resultó especialmente cómoda para descansar, ya que transmite bastante el ruido y entra mucha claridad. El problema más grave fue el baño. Durante varios días hubo un olor extremadamente fuerte y desagradable a desagüe y aparecía continuamente agua alrededor de la base del WC. Incluso vimos pequeños insectos moviéndose en esa agua. Una noche el olor llegó a ser tan intenso que nos despertó de madrugada y nos resultó prácticamente imposible dormir, aún cerrando la puerta del baño. Lo comunicamos repetidamente. El personal realizó limpiezas y revisiones, pero el problema continuaba. Finalmente, unos tres días antes de terminar nuestra estancia, tuvimos incluso que explicar que no era un problema que pudiera solucionarse simplemente con housekeeping y que necesitaban revisar técnicamente el WC, los desagües y la fontanería. Después de insistir en que debía intervenir mantenimiento y localizar el origen del problema, finalmente consiguieron solucionarlo. Entendemos perfectamente que estamos en Bali y que pueden aparecer insectos, no era nuestra primera vez en la isla, pero una cosa son las características naturales del destino y otra tener agua alrededor del WC, insectos en esa agua y un fuerte olor a desagüe dentro de la habitación.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and although the hotel is located in a very central area, it feels completely different once you step inside. You walk through the door and immediately feel a sense of calm and escape from the hustle and bustle of the street. The location is perfect, with everything you could need nearby, supermarkets, pharmacies, clothing stores, restaurants, and bars. It’s also a lovely area to walk around and explore. Overall, a wonderful place to stay, especially if you want to be close to everything while still having a peaceful atmosphere. ❤️

In my case, I stayed in a private room, and I think one small but important improvement would be to have a mini fridge in the room. I had to ask the staff to keep the bottles of water I purchased at the restaurant in their fridge so that I could have them cold. I think this would be a useful addition, not only for private rooms but also for guests staying in shared rooms. Another thing to keep in mind is that my room was located right next to the reception area. This wasn’t ideal at night, as I could hear conversations quite clearly when people were talking at reception. It would be helpful for the night staff to be mindful of the noise, especially for guests who are light sleepers, as I am.

This place is incredible. beautiful plants, little waterfall, amazing pool area and great breakfast. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. usually I don’t come to the same place twice, but in the future I will definitely come back to Savanna hostel. Shoutout to the staff who helped with anything. Super sweet staff.

The staff was very friendly. I liked that they had activities almost every day. It could be social or quieter, depending on the people there.

Not the best value for money. I later booked private hotel rooms around here that are cheaper than my dorm bed. The actual dorm room is dingy and not much ventilation.

Es la tercera vez que voy y me encanta su ambiente tanto familiar como con mil actividades. Lo mejor son las instalaciones, la limpieza y la dedicación del personal. Un sitio para volver si vuelves a Bali.

Beautiful accomodation! Beds were very comfortable and had curtains, bathroom was spacious and had a shower with separated space. The staff were really nice and helpful, the reception was operating non stop. The whole area was beauful and the location was great, near the Monkey forest. Restaurants and shops were all around :)

This was my first hostel stay and I couldn’t ask for more. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and large. I especially enjoyed the daily activities: yoga, cooking classes and movie nights! For the breakfast you have few options to choose, all of them were great!

Ruhige Unterkunft trotz toller Lage mitten im Zentrum von Ubud. Sehr schöne, große Zimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Besonders gut hat uns der kleine „Zen-Garten“ gefallen in dem wir gefrühstückt haben. Täglich kostenlose Yoga- und Massageeinheiten. Tägliches Programm zu dem man sich anmelden kann - indonesisches Dinner, Filmeabend… besonders empfehlenswert, wenn man alleine reist.

Man muss etwas aufpassen wegen den Affen - die Unterkunft liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Monkeyforest. Einmal hat ein Affe eine Dose Chips durchs Fenster aus unserem Zimmer geklaut, einmal sind Affen beim Frühstück auf den Tisch gesprungen und haben das essen geschnappt. Alles halb so schlimm, aber eventuell könnte man davor vom Personal darüber informieren werden, wie man sich im Umgang mit den Affen am besten verhält.

Mein Aufenthalt hier war wunderbar! Vor allem die Personen machen den Ort zu etwas ganz besonderem! Das Hostel war so sauber, wie ich es auf meiner Reise nie erlebt habe!! Das Frühstück war ebenfalls lecker! Die Zimmer sind sehr schick! Wenn man in einem Shared room schläft, sollte man sich eine gute Schlafmaske und Ohropax zulegen, da man nie weiß, mit wem man ein Zimmer teilt. So ist man jedenfalls sicher was den eigenen Schlaf angeht :)) Es gibt Schränke, die man abschließen kann und man bekommt ein Armband mit integriertem Schlüssel!

The pool area is insane 10/10 for vibes and comfort.

The bathroom had the worst smell ever and it permeated into the room. I heard there were other rooms that didn’t have the smell and the sheets almost felt wet. When we told the staff they did leave the AC on all day for us which helped but I had to leave 2 days early because I couldn’t sleep it was too hot and smelled bad. It’s a shame because the vibes, people, food and activities there are amazing 10/10 just try to get a room that doesn’t smell.

Is as Hostel? Because it looks like a five start hotel! Everything is perfect in Savanna: the staff, food, rooms, activity. It was an amazing experience e I don’t have doubt where stay when I’ll come back in Ubud. 10/10

Everything is perfect

Its my second time here and would still come back, it is such a very clean and peaceful place to stay. The team are very friendly and helpful. I was really impressed with their hospitality.

L’humidité dans les chambres qui mouille les draps et donne une mauvaise odeur . Mais c’est sûrement compliqué à gérer à Ubud. Le ventilateur tres bruyant dans la chambre si une personne decide de l’allumer difficile de dormir. ( les massages compris etaient tres qualitatifs mais on avait des fois un peu l’impression de déranger la masseuse)

Les lits des dortoirs sont très grands et super confortables (dortoirs de 4 personnes). La piscine est magnifique et l’emplacement parfait (possibilité de faire beaucoup de visite à pied, proche de plein de restaurants, bars et salon de massage). Massages de 15 minutes gratuit, petit sac offerts. Pour les dortoirs, chacun a un casier qui se ferme à clé.

Without a doubt, the best hostel I have ever stayed in! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming, always smiling and ready to assist. The pool and bar area were amazing, the rooms were beautiful and spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. It is the perfect place both to relax and to meet new people. The morning yoga sessions and the complimentary 15-minute daily massage made the whole experience even more exceptional.

Solo digo que fui para 2 noches y acabé pasando una semana. Me hospedé en las habitaciones compartidas y son muy cómodas. Las camas amplias, con cortinas y tu propio enchufe y luz. Tienes también tu taquilla. Además en el precio incluye desayuno y un masaje de 15 minutos cada día. Hacen actividades (como talleres de cocina balinesa, música en directo..) y te facilitan todo lo que pueden. Y es muy cómodo tener bar dentro. Está muy céntrico pero no se oye ni un ruido. El Personal super amable.

Great location, beautiful outdoor areas with lush vegetation and really nice landscaping. The pool area is definitely a highlight and it was the perfect place to be in during the hottest part of the day.

The room lacked some basic features such as having a shelf or table area to place clothes and travel items. I had to put everything on the floor which was not very comfortable.
