This stay was great! It's always a huge PLUS when the room and the description is EXACTLY as listed (especially with AI these days). Nothing can beat waking up to that mountain view for sunrise and sunset! The reason I booked this stay was because everyone was saying how awesome the host Ake was and that also delivered as well! Ake gave great recommendations, hooked me up with a bike to rent, and checked on me often! 10/10 Thank you for a great stay! Bonus: There were so many cute cats on the property that were so snuggly!

There were a few bugs here and there inside but what do you expect being nestled in nature! There weren't a lot, it was very manageable!

We had a wonderful stay here and can highly recommend this place. From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. He really went out of his way to help us with everything we needed and made us feel completely at home. You can tell he is simply a genuinely warm and lovely person. Many thanks also to his family for the hospitality. The accommodation was very clean and well taken care of. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable, and we slept amazingly well every night. It was the perfect place to relax and escape the busy and noisy areas for a while. Breakfast was great and a perfect start to the day. Another highlight were the adorable cats around the property – they made the stay even more special. The view from the accommodation is beautiful and very peaceful. A scooter is helpful to get around, but that’s no problem because you can easily rent one directly there. Thank you again Ake for such a lovely stay – we truly appreciated the kindness and hospitality.

E como não tínhamos meio de transporte ainda nos levou a alguns sítios extra. O sítio é excelente para quem quiser tranquilidade no meio da natureza

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich eine glatte 10/10! Schon zu Beginn hat uns der Gastgeber absolut begeistert: Obwohl wir uns bei der Fähre verspätet hatten, ist er extra umgekehrt, um uns erneut abzuholen – und das sowohl bei der An- als auch bei der Abreise. Ein Service, der wirklich nicht selbstverständlich ist! Die Zimmer waren wunderschön, sehr sauber und angenehm ruhig. Gerade als Paar konnten wir die Privatsphäre und die entspannte Atmosphäre total genießen – perfekt, um einfach mal abzuschalten. Ein weiteres Highlight war der Frühstücksservice direkt ins Zimmer. Man konnte die Uhrzeit flexibel wählen, und alles wurde liebevoll serviert – einfach großartig! Auch der Scooter-Verleih lief völlig unkompliziert und zu einem super fairen Preis, alles auf Vertrauensbasis, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Insgesamt war es ein rundum angenehmer, entspannter und besonderer Aufenthalt. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jedem Paar empfehlen, das Ruhe sucht, aber trotzdem nicht komplett abgeschieden sein möchte. Wirklich toll – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! 🌴✨

Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt, pünktlich vom Pier abgeholt und zur Unterkunft gebracht. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und verfügt über alles was man braucht. Schöne und wirklich ruhige Lage. Klimaanlage hat auch super funktioniert. Man kann im De Saran Lanta auch Roller mieten, was super war. Zu einem fairen Preis. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich, höflich ubd zuvorkommend. Wir haben immer wieder tipps von ihnen erhalten. Die kommunikation verlief einwandfrei. Wir haben uns wirklich direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war auch super, mit einer guten Auswahl. Wir können es wirklich nur empfehlen!!!

Ich kann das Resort von Herzen empfehlen! Die Unterkunft ist gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben sogar eine Gruppe von Affen gesehen. Der Gastgeber ist ein herzensguter Mensch, Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

This place is magical. You sleep in the jungle, but at the same time really close to the main road and the night market. Ake was super friendly and organized activities and transfers for us.

La chambre était correctement équipée et la salle de bain très bien. Le petit déjeuner correct . Le seul problème est qu'il faut être motorisé pour l'accès. Avec un problème d'épaule, nous n'avions pas loué de scooter mais Ake le propriétaire nous a fait office de taxi... une très bonne personne !

Lage etwas abseits (Norden), aber das war vorher klar. Straßenverkehr teilweise relativ laut hörbar, trotz abgelegener Location. Unabhängig von der Unterkunft hat uns die Walking Street/Food überhaupt nicht gefallen, wenig mit Thailand zu tun.

Po prostu wow! Od razu zaznaczę, jak lubisz mieć sklepy i restauracje pod nosem, to nie jest miejsce dla Ciebie. Domki położone są ok 15 minut spacerem od centrum, co czyni miejsce niezwykle klimatycznym i spokojnym. Gospodarz, Pan Ake to przecudowna osoba która służy swoją pomocą w każdym aspekcie. Domek duży, czysty, z mega wygodnym łóżkiem. W domku lodówka, płyta grzewcza, sztućce itp. Śniadania serwowane na taras przez gospodarza, do wyboru z karty. Możliwość wypożyczenia skutera bezpośrednio w obiekcie, coś świetnego. Zdecydowanie polecam, jeść śniadanie w takim miejscu z takimi widokiem to sama przyjemność. Warto wspomnieć, że jednego dnia obudziliśmy się w kiepskim stanie po zbyt długim przebywaniu na słońcu, Pan Ake wspomógł nas lekami i gorąca herbatą bez żadnego problemu kiedy o to zapytaliśmy.

Ake war total zuvorkommend und freundlich und hat einen tollen service angeboten. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr gut! Für einen eher kürzeren Aufenthalt optimal, nur 5 Minuten vom Hafen entfernt.

Bardzo czysto, dobra lokalizacja, spokojna, 10 min spacerem do miasta. Codziennie rano pyszne śniadanie o wybranej godzinie (pomiędzy 7 a 10). Gospodarz przygotował dużo wody w butelkach w lodówce. Odebrał nas z przystani. Wszystko było idealne, za tę cenę to prawdziwa perełka! Dodatkowo jest możliwość wynajęcia skutera w dobrej cenie.

Super établissement, j’ai réservé très tard et le monsieur qui s’occupe à très bien gérer. La réservation m’a accueilli très gentiment. Les appartements sont parfaitement équipés. Il m’a même ramené jusqu’au port gratuitement ! L’appartement est bien situé ! Je recommande 😊

Warm welcome and attentive service from the host Ake, perfect location, beautiful setting, and comfortable, clean room – everything was perfect. I recommend it 1000/100!

Ake, the owner or manager of De Saran Lanta went so many times the extra mile. Picking up from the pier and dropping me off; offering a motorbike for rental in really good conditions; checking with me on WhatsApp about any requests and offering tips; and everything in the friendliest and kindest way. I rarely give 10s on booking, but this time he quite deserved it! The room, bathroom and kitchen area were spotless, with a cute upfront balcony where breakfast was handed every day. Several options were offered: typical bread and egg dishes, yogurt and granola, or pancakes for example, always served with tea or coffee and a fruit platter. Special mention to the two little cute cats that live around the area and show to say hello and ask for cuddles during breakfast and dinner time!

Very simple rooms scattered around a wooded area not far from the bridge into Koh Lanta and within easy walking distance of Saladan (about 15 minutes on flat footpaths). A decent sized bathroom with good water pressure and plenty of hot water, basic but good quality toiletries and plenty of places to put your own stuff in the bathroom. The bed was comfy (perhaps a little harder than we’re used to in Europe) and the bedding was spotless and good quality, in fact the room couldn’t have been any cleaner, it was perfect. The AC worked well although the room was shaded so we didn’t need it on constantly. The view from our room was lovely, there is a road but the traffic was light after 9pm and it really didn’t bother us at all. The balcony was a great place to take in the view with a cold drink, a nice chair and table set were provided and a small drying rack to hang wet swimwear and towels. Breakfast was good and served by the owner Ake who was a delightful man and who spoke really good English and clearly cares a lot about his business and his clients.

I cannot think of a negative, we thought it was very good value for money.

Il titolare della struttura è super accogliente e disponibile. Non solo ci è venuto a prendere al porto ma poi ci ha anche accompagnato all'hotel su cui abbiamo dovuto spostarci nei giorni successivi. Ha anche alcuni motorini da affittare per chi lo richiedesse. Avremmo voluto prolungare il nostro soggiorno ma purtroppo era al completo le notti successive. Anche se breve è stato davvero tutto perfetto! Pulizia ottima che non è mai scontata. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro che siano alla ricerca di una location riservata, ma allo stesso tempo facilmente raggiungibile con un motorino. Grazie di cuore, speriamo di rivederci presto 😊

Piękny, czysty i nowoczesny domek. Duża łazienka, wygodne łóżko i czysta pościel. Na miejscu najlepiej mieć motorek. Piękny widok, fajne koty i bardzo bardzo miły i pomocny gospodarz. Pan zawiózł nas na prom, poczekał aż oddamy motor, to bardzo miły i ciepły człowiek. Śniadanie do wyboru z karty-gardzi smaczne, ciepłe i na umówioną godzinę. Polecam na 100%

10/10 for the staff: Ake is extremely nice, always anticipating your needs and he was constantly available via whatsapp. Rooms are very big, AC is good, lots of water bottles available inside the fridge. They have motorbikes ready for you to rent, he even gave us a brief explanation on how it works.

The only downside might be the location, you might want to reconsider if you dont know how to ride a motorbike (grab/bolt was not available when we were there), it is a 17 minute walk to the walking street/food market.

What we loved most about this accommodation was the exceptional hospitality. Ake, the manager, truly went above and beyond in every possible way. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. He even drove through the entire village to find the exact motorbike that matched our wishes, something you rarely experience. Ake was always reachable and proactive. Every morning he messaged us to ask what time we wanted breakfast and what we preferred to eat. Nothing was ever too much trouble. He helped us with transport, was unfailingly kind, and made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. The level of service and personal attention was truly outstanding. We have never experienced such helpfulness and dedication before. Ake is an absolute gem and a big reason why this stay was so special. Highly recommended.

Notre hôte, Ake, a été extraordinaire ! Il est venu nous chercher au port avec une petite pancarte, au moment de partir il a contacté l'agence de bus qui venait nous chercher pour nous aider. Il est au petit soin, le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, la chambre était incroyable avec une vue magnifique. Rien à redire, ne loupez surtout pas ce logement ! Un grand merci à Ake et à ses petits chats !

L’emplacement proche de tout et dépaysant à souhait, le lieu est entouré de verdure et nous avons pu profiter de la nature . Le logement est très bien équipé et très propre. Le petit déjeuner vous est apporté à votre logement et était très bon. Nous souhaitons principalement souligner l’extrême gentillesse du propriétaire qui a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable ! Il est disponible , très serviable et nous a donné de bon conseils pour visiter l’île. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil nous n’oublierons jamais notre passage sur Koh Lanta .

Echt een ontzettend aardige host! Staat altijd voor je klaar en heel erg behulpzaam. Verder: omdat we na 3 nachtjes het eiland wel hadden gezien zijn we door gegaan. Omdat we wel voor de 4e nacht hadden betaald, bracht de host geen geld in rekening voor de scooters die we alle dagen hadden gehuurd.

Er viel niets tegen. Accommodatie is zoals omschreven.

Ake was so helpful, customer service like no other, picked us up and dropped us off at the pier with no extra charge, gave breakfast options and catered to our requests outside of this, he was wonderful and the room was really nice as well

Silent area, very clean and a good standard, Ake the owner is very lovely and did everything with purpose. He drove me to the city once I had no scooter and cooked some fantastic breakfast with all my wishes, which you can tell him the day before. He makes the place even more fantastic!!

Lokal był bardzo dobry, na żywo wygląda bardzo ładnie. Jest trochę na uboczu, więc mozna poczuć niesamowity spokój. Pan Ake dobrze mowi po angielsku, ale najbardziej podobało nam sie to, że był bardzo miły od samego zarezerwowania noclegu az do rozstania się z tym miejscem - odebrał nas z portu i odwiózł do kolejnego noclegu, aż żałujemy, że zostaliśmy tylko na 1 noc, ale takie jest podróżowanie po Azji, plany czasem sie zmieniają :) nasz domek był czysty i zadbany, śniadanie było bardzo smaczne - zjedliśmy je na tarasie z ładnym widokiem na góry i otaczająca nas roślinność. Dodatkowo, przyjechaliśmy dość późno, ale właściciel zorganizował nam skuter, żebyśmy mogli podjechać sobie do centrum, cos zjeść i zobaczyć jak wygląda tu życie wieczorem. Polecam z całego serca i na pewno jeśli kiedyś wrócimy na Koh Lanta, to zaczniemy szukanie noclegu od tego właśnie miejsca!

El alojamiento está equipado con todo lo que necesitas. Ake (el anfitrión) es una persona maravillosa, muy cercano y atento. Es todo lo que necesitábamos, una escapada en plena naturaleza, fuera de luces y hoteles grandes. Todo lo que necesites lo tendrás a mano, la ubicación no es céntrica pero estás a menos de cinco minutos en moto (que te alquila en el propio alojamiento por un precio muy razonable). El desayuno está elaborado por ellos, es más que correcto y personalizado. Una estancia muy agradable. Thank you Ake :)

Tomamos la mejor decisión al alojarnos aquí. Las instalaciones son impecables, habitaciones nuevas, muy bien equipadas y con hermosas vistas. El dueño nos vino a recoger a la estación de ferrys, nos alquilo scooter a buen precio y nos dio recomendaciones para mejorar nuestra estancia. El desayuno es muy completo y a medida. Lugar más que recomendable como punto de partida para conocer Koh Lanta.

Wir haben noch nie so einen hilfsbereiten, freundlichen Menschen getroffen, der uns nicht nur kostenlos vom Pier abgeholt und wieder hingebracht, sondern auch an zwei Abenden noch in die Ortschaft gebracht und wieder abgeholt hat. Außerdem war er jederzeit bei allen möglichen Fragen und Anliegen erreichbar und hat geholfen, alles zu organisieren, was wir brauchten (Fährtickets, Tagestour). Danke nochmal, Ake! Wir können die Unterkunft wirklich von ganzem Herzen empfehlen!

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb, sodass es empfehlenswert ist, gerade bei längeren Aufenthalten, einen Roller zu mieten. Man muss allerdings einen Berg hochfahren, sodass es ggf. für Rolleranfänger nicht so geeignet ist.

The host, Ake, made my birthday weekend feel so special! I was celebrating by myself but Ake went above and beyond to help me feel celebrated, and even cooked the fish I caught from fishing. I rarely leave reviews but I feel that anyone that comes to Koh Lanta should definitely check this place out. Views are great, supreme service, great breakfast and an amazing host! Such a beautiful, quiet location that feels secluded without being far from the main street on the island. The room was very clean and cosy with the comfiest bed, a smart TV and a kitchenette. However the true selling point is the unparalleled service from the host, Ake. As a young woman travelling solo, he made me feel very safe and looked after, driving me anywhere on the island at the drop of a hat, renting me a scooter, dropping off laundry, and providing an excellent breakfast every morning. I can't wait to come back and cannot recommend his place more.

Great quiet place , our host Ake was a gem 💎 . He picked us up from where we rent our bikes after returning them and drove us to the pier in the morning . Very, very nice man !!! The only regret is that we didn't go there sooner ! Highly recommended 🫶
