Thank you so much for the wonderful time in the desert - we loved every moment of it. The stunning sunset, beautiful sunrise, and magical star-filled sky made it feel truly special. The room was so cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious. We're incredibly grateful for such a warm and unforgettable experience.

The uniquenes of being completely in the middle of the desert, no lights, no noise, just stars, good food, good conversation and beautiful surroundings. The bed was supercomfortable. Hamad the host was so informative, gave lots of information about the Omani history and culture.

It was a wonderful stay at The One camp. We had a unique experience with very kind staff, amazing breakfast and dinner and a host who was there to fulfill all our wishes. We would definitely recommend the camel ride and the dune bashing. For nearby activities the host recommended us to go to Wadi Hawer which was amazing. 10/10 for this experience.

Der Tourguide hat alles unternommen, um uns den Wüstentrip totz der Hitze (August 2025) so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Das private Set-Up hat uns sehr gefallen, kein Massentourismus sondern exklusive Einblicke in die omanische Kultur und die beduinische Kultur. Das Essen, welches uns Imran serviert hat, war fantastisch. Das war definitiv ein Highlight unserer Reise und auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Die Hitze, die wir erwartet hatten, war einigermassen erträglich, insbesondere weil der Camel-Ritt abends (sehr schöne Stimmung!) war. Eine andere Jahreszeit ist definitiv empfehlenswert für einen Aufenthalt im Oman.

Couldn't have a more perfect location - nobody around us so truly alone. Food was excellent. A thoroughly memorable experience.

Hamid is a great host! We enjoyed learning about Bedu culture and life in the desert. The area is beautiful. The tent and facilities were quite comfortable. Imran looked after us very well; he's an excellent cook and very kind.

This desert area was busier than we anticipated, with a lot of local people in the area on a Friday. Better to come during the week rather than over a weekend as we did.

The location was perfect and out of sight of all civilisation. It was very well maintained and clean. Lovely to have separate tents for sleeping, eating and washing.

We wanted to stay a night in the desert in Oman. There are many camps out there in Wahiba Sands, so lot of options to choose from, but there are only a few options that provide a one tent experience, away from all the mass tourism, and just focusing on being in the desert. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The One tent camp, combined with a camel safari, an excellent diner, a delicious breakfast, and just simply a whole different kind of experience than anything else. We want to thank Hamad for his hospitality and all of his stories, as well as Imran for the truly great food and service provided. Communication was excellent, as well as the help provided when driving in the desert.

the place is simply lovely we couldn't have had a better tent. Amed the owner is a wonderful person, he made us prepare a delicious dinner, an aperitif upon arrival, and a plentiful and delicious breakfast, the tent is wonderful, the sheets are perfect, as are the bathroom and the shower, nothing is missing , as well as being positioned in a suggestive point where you can touch the stars with a finger, and the atmosphere is dreamlike 🙏

what an incredible experience! The host is genuinely proud of his desert retreat, and it shows in every detail. We loved the thoughtful touches in the dining area and the well-maintained toilet facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable, providing a restful night’s sleep under the stars. Both the dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, with flavors that perfectly complemented the serene surroundings. I truly enjoyed every moment of the stay and highly recommend this unique experience!

The One is one of those places that you leave, but it never leaves you. This newly opened, single-tent camp has been done up with so much love and attention to detail. The tent itself is spacious and beautifully designed, and the huge outdoor bathroom was a welcome surprise. The secluded location among the dunes is exactly what we had hoped for, allowing us to enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets with no one around. Then there is the owner, Hamad - a highly cultured, well-traveled, spiritual, and engaging individual with whom we had the most enriching conversations. Another highlight was the food, which was freshly prepared by Hamad’s daughter, absolutely delicious and a great variety. We wish we could have stayed longer and certainly hope to return. Until then, we carry with us beautiful memories of our time there.

Simply a dream, simply the best, and simply the absolute highlight of our entire trip to Oman! We absolutely loved it – the best experience we’ve ever had! From the breathtaking location to the warm hospitality, the delicious food, and the serene atmosphere, every moment in the desert at this most beautiful accommodation was unforgettable. Our tent was stunning, with the most comfortable beds and a beautifully designed bathroom. Dinner was among the finest we had in Oman, and breakfast was a dream, enjoyed while gazing out over the desert mountains. In the evening, we sat by the fire with our host, engaging in fascinating conversations about Oman’s culture, sights, and even politics, all under a sky full of stars. It felt like talking to an old friend! The tent’s beauty and comfort left us in awe, and my son adored every moment of our stay. He especially loved exploring the sand for footprints, savoring the delicious dinner, and enjoying the enriching chats with the owner. This was more than just a stay – it was an experience we’ll treasure forever.

This place delivered all of that and more. From the moment we arrived in Bediyah, we were guided perfectly to the camp through the dunes. The journey itself felt like an adventure, and upon reaching The One, we were blown away by the beauty and serenity of the location. There were no neighbors—just us and the desert—and that made the experience truly unique. The hospitality was beyond exceptional, a perfect example of why Oman is renowned for its warm, heartfelt hospitality across the globe. The team took care of us with such genuine care, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They even made sure we could enjoy the beauty of the desert with little details, like guiding us to the best spots to view the sunset or helping us stargaze under a moonless sky. This trip was extra special for our kids. It was their first time in the desert, and The One made it unforgettable for them. They experienced their first camel ride, marveled at the golden sunset, and had endless fun sandboarding for the first time. Seeing their excitement and joy made this trip one of the best family adventures we’ve ever had. Having visited the deserts of Oman countless times over the past eight years, I can confidently say this was the best desert experience I’ve ever had. My desert escape at the one camp was truly lovely. Far from the city's clamor, I enjoyed a breathtaking sunset followed by a delicious dinner and exceptional hospitality. Memorable evening by the fire ring under a full moon included a fascinating conversation with Hamed, who shared his deep knowledge of local culture and heritage with remarkable humility. the comfortable tent provided a restful night sleep and next day brought a stunning sunrise and a relaxing camel ride. I highly recommend this unique experience. defiantly come back.

The perfect experience. Desert at night is a wonderful place to feel part of it, beauty, silence and stars. Now imagine joining this with an exceptional location, great accommodation, food and cleaning. Hamed and his staff make you feel like part of his family. I asked him to collaborate with a marriage request. He not only did it but got involved and proposed a splendid plan with camels, dunes and views at the best moment of the day. I must be grateful all my life. With no doubt, to trust on him was one of the best decisions that I've ever made. I will repeat without hesitation.

The location was on top of sand dunes and away from light pollution, perfect for star gazing/meteor showers. The hospitality of the crew is top-notch. You get the authentic desert experience.

I was in one camp for one night, and it was not enough because the place was more than to stay ; it was an excursion trip , an opportunity to escape the reconnect and ordinary with nature . Everything was perfect and I recommend to all may family's and friends to book in this camp ..
