Weather ofcoz.. summer season is not advisable no matter ac room... We stay most in girivalam pradakshine so non AC room booking is advisable..

Reviewed Sep 6, 2025The homestay owner Palani swamy is very polite and friendly in nature .As we are from karanataka he helped us get auto to the temple and helped to manage booking for another day in other home stay. The room is 100% clean and convinent.Price is affordable. New visitiors can book the homestay as the owner can guide and help to make the rituals.

Hot water heater is not in the bathroom, we need to fill it outside the room, only 2 members can comfortably stay, room is in the 2nd floor terrace

The bed was especially cozy, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Plus, the location was super convenient, making it easy to get around. For a short stay, this place is definitely a winner!
Basic amenities like Toileteries & Drinking Water were missing. But it is manageable the stores are near.

Reviewed Nov 24, 2024The room is in a good location, just of the main road. Quiet and private on the top floor. Very comfortable bed and room. Simple but oké. We loved our stay and hope to return for another giri pradakshina.
Tip: A small sink in the kitchen or the bathroom and a small fridge would make this place just perfect.

The owner was exceptional and very attentive. The guest house is well-maintained with good AC, and I particularly enjoyed the mountain view.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2024I recently stayed at New Ramana Maharshi Guest House and was impressed by the exceptional service. Coming from Hyderabad by bus, I loved how close the property was to the bus stand, making my arrival effortless. From the moment I arrived, I found the owner to be extremely helpful and kindhearted, always ready to answer any questions I had. The location is ideal, just minutes from Arunachala Temple. The Room was peaceful and clean, with excellent AC. The view from the rooftop overlooking Arunachala Mountain provided a peaceful and relaxing retreat. With many restaurants and shops nearby, everything you need is within walking distance.

I stayed in the Superior Queen Room, which was quiet and comfortable. The view of Arunachala Mountain from the guest house is amazing. Everything was clean, and the AC worked well. There are lots of restaurants nearby. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in Tiruvannamalai.

Perfect for Girivalam pilgrims, as the path starts just 50 meters away. Close to restaurants, bus stand, and railway station. Ideal for a peaceful stay with easy access to key sites.
