Good hotel . Lobby is under renovation

Property undergoing reception area renovation which makes the reception area poorly accessible with construction related dust permeating the entrance. Old, less than clean, carpet in corridors. Rooms are clean and AC is excellent while temp outside runs at 110-120 degrees.

If you look for a place to sleep, this hotel is a good place to stay because it is near masjid Al Nabawi. The price is cheaper compare to the other hotels near by. The AC is blasting cold.

Closer to Haram

Very short distance to masjid nabvi and very peaceful place at all the time. Good room conditions. Hotel corridors need improvement.

Amazing hotel! Very modern and up to date rooms. Excellent customer service. Let us check in a little early and check out a little late with no extra charge. House keeping and room service was also good. Very closer to the masjid. Lots of food and shopping options close by. Carpets in the hallway are a bit outdated but it looks like they are slowly renovating the entire hotel. Would love to stay here again!!

Great staff easy to haram

Room reeked of smoke despite it being labeled non-smoking. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years—full of stains and dirt. The bathroom wasn’t any better. But it was close to Madina Sharif.

I had a truly exceptional experience at this property. One of the standout features was the impeccable cleanliness throughout the facility, which made my stay all the more comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their dedication and hard work to ensure guests are satisfied did not go unnoticed — they genuinely go above and beyond to provide outstanding service. Another highlight is the property’s prime location, just a short walk from the mosque, which made it incredibly convenient, especially for those visiting for religious purposes. I was also very appreciative of the late check-out they kindly accommodated, showing their flexibility and willingness to work with guests’ individual needs. Overall, this property combines exceptional service, a clean and well-maintained environment, and a perfect location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area — I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

Stayed three nights and liked it. Masjid An-Nabawi is very close with a short walking distance. Some services and staff were excellent. Of particular, Md. Shahidul Islam of housekeeping was amazing and even though he was always busy, tried best to make me feel home- that I really appreciated. We had a little baby with us and Mr. Shaihidul's cooperation and support made it easy for me, thanks to him. Rubel Mia and Mohammad Rayhan were also very nice, cordial and supportive. Mr. Mozammel at the front desk/concierge was kind to arrange a nice ride for my travel to mecca. I will be happy to return to this hotel, in particular to meet these wonder staff and enjoy their services.

It was a very pleasant and spiritual stay. It's located close to the southern entrance to the Prophet's Mosque. About 7 minute direct walk. The people at the hotel were very kind and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spacious.Price was good for it being so close to the Prophet's Mosque.

Location is less than 5 min walk to the Haram. Lots of restaurants and shopping around.15 min ride in ataxi to train station or airport. This is a hidden gem and very reasonable pricing for last 10 days of ramadan.Staff is amazing goes beyond their ask to make sure you are comfortable from manager to housekeeping and concierge. I have booked my stay for the next visit already. It's going to be even better as they are renovating bathrooms and interior.

Clean hotel, room is a bit small. Very close to mosque and shops. Staff is very nice and helpful. Will visit again.

I’ve stayed two years in a row because it’s close to Haram gate 305! My room was being renovated so it was ok.

Good customer service

I stayed at this hotel from March 9 to 15, 2025, and it was excellent value for money. The living conditions were very comfortable, with free Wi-Fi, a TV, an iron, a hairdryer, a fridge, a locker, cupboards, and air conditioning. The washroom was also clean and well-maintained. What stood out the most was the housekeeping service. Special thanks to Rubel Mia and his supervisor, Rehaan, who took great care of us. They personally visited our room to check if we needed anything and ensured we were well accommodated. The location is another major advantage. For males, it takes only a three-minute walk to enter the Holy Mosque. Overall, I really appreciate their efforts and highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a prime location, making it incredibly convenient for visiting Masjid An-Nabawi. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the hospitality was top-notch. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing stay after long hours of worship. The staff was courteous and always ready to help, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed. I would like to give special appreciation to Muhammad Noman Ahmed, one of the cleaning staff. He was extremely polite, hardworking, and attentive, making sure my room was spotless every day. His dedication to maintaining cleanliness and his friendly attitude truly stood out. Overall, I highly recommend Jiwar Al Madina Hotel to anyone visiting Madina. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Good service

The location is just perfect and the staff is so polite specially Mr Mohamed Salama , the way he welcomes me was so polite and kind. Also they send me a fruits basket as welcoming guest.

A rather inconvenient location and poorly managed hotel

Front and concierge staff is friendly and helpful. Muzammil was very accommodating. The location is very convenient to haram with food and drink choices on the way

Situated in the southern side of the haram, Jiwar Al Marina is very convibient. Room was clean, bed was confortable and staff was amazing with me and my daughter. Highly recommended

Excellent Staff and Service

the rooms were not spacious. Bathroom shower wasn't clean. Very tiny elevator, had to wait long time to catch one. Hallway carpet was extremely dirty and not enough light. Though very friendly staffs who attending our needs. However, won't be staying in the future or recommend to anyone.

Absolutely zero customer service, no room service for 3 days we were here. Shower had draining issue and too tight space for toiltet. Beds were really uncomfortable and room was too small.

The location bits closer to masjid al Nabawi otherwise it's not worth the money you pay they just hand you keys and that's it no service

We chose this hotel as it was closest to the haram and there was an offer on it, entrance of the Masjid was still further down but over all good distance from Masjide Nabwi. It's an old style avergae hotel with all the basic facilities. Staff is very understanding and helpful.

Great location. WiFi hardly worked though in the room. It only worked when it did in the lobby.

The staff provided exceptional service, particularly Financial Manager Mr. Ziad, who extended his assistance beyond financial matters. Furthermore, Food and Beverage Manager Mr. Taha and his team, including Alaa, demonstrated professionalism and ensured a comfortable stay. We express our sincere gratitude.

We had to tell them multiple times to change our rooms.

The whole toilet was flooded and I had to go to front desk to ask manager before they did anything. Very small room, even the triple family suite. Not staying again.

The best thing about hotel is that it is 2 minutes walk from Mosque but Masjid Nisa is on opposite side. The staff is really helpful and pleasant. Although building is old with some defects (locker not working, door lock broken) but they have all the amenities.

If you want to be close to Haram and be able to pray conveniently, then the location of the hotel is indeed very good. However, I stayed there as a family of four in two rooms…and we chose the place based on Expedia rating of 8 and the price range which was putting it close to some of the main brands. The rooms are not very clean, and the overall level of services is not up to the rating and the price charged. For example we did not have clean sheets as expected on day 1, one of the elevators does not work properly, the floor boards and the carpets leading to the room are not in ship shape, the restaurant on the premises is marginal at best and there is no room service. If the management puts extra effort into improving the property, I will definitely be willing to pay the price, otherwise for me, next time, it is one of the brands next to it that I know will guarantee better service with similar location benefits, and less than USD 75 more.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! I made the mistake, and I urge you not to do the same. This is the worst place to stay. Very noisy, dirty, and with outdated bathrooms. I will never stay at this location again. Additionally, the property will not issue a refund if you cancel your booking for any reason.

Bathrooms needs renovation asap!! Room are so close to each other where you can hear all noises coming from the hallway or other rooms

1. Lobby—- small & cramped. Limited seating in very poor furniture. 2. Reception — very small. Reception staff very helpful & courteous , went over the top to help. 3. Bell man staff —- very unhelpful. 4. Room —- spacious. Safe broken. Carpet was ver dated & wrinkled. Housekeeping would not clean for 3 days. Closet space ancient. Shower space very small. Room furniture very poor. Tv very small with horrible reception. 5. Internet service very slow. 6. Restaurant —— area looked like a cheap cafeteria. Food being served cold in large fancy looking chafing containers with no burners. Horrible coffee & tea choices served in a cheap truck stop manner. I got stomach upset everytime I ate there. Worst part of stay. 7 The hotel in its present stay was not worth over 50$ a night . We paid $ 225. 8. This hotel rates a maybe 2 out of 10 & not over 2 stars. Would never recommend this to any of my many many friends who travel for umra from USA.
