Sonop in Marloth Park

Megan ist eine perfekte und freundliche Gastgeberin, wir waren vollauf zufrieden. Auf Nachfrage durften wir unseren check-out problemlos zeitlich hinauszögern und konnten am Vormittag von der Terrasse aus noch die Marloth Park Natur genießen und jede Menge Tiere beobachten. Sonop hat für Selbstverpfleger eine hervorragende Ausstattung.

everything was more than what we expected

Wonderful and peaceful place with a lot of privacy, especially for a bigger group where everyone has their own space including an ensuite bathroom. Having close encounters with precious animals such as Zebras, different species of Antelope, and Warthogs is a unique and grounding experience. Great braai area and fireplace. Highly recommended!

We would have appreciated some complementary coffee and tea.

Really felt at home. Animals showing up at the doorstep made the experience so amazing. The host was incredible. Gave loads of tips on things to do and gave updates on what was going on in the area. Definitely visiting again soon.

Not used to the night creatures. But that comes with the experience LOL. Nothing I didn't like. Was an amazing bush experience.

It was super clean, comfortable and had everything you need. The shower even had a place where one can sit. Huge open space! Loved everything about this house. Beautiful location.

Everything was perfect! from the host Mr Nolan to the house and the environment. We really enjoyed our time there! If someone is looking for a great place and house for a vacation, Marloth Park and Mr Nolan house is for you!

Very clean and tidy, inside the house as well as the garden area. Braai and firepit area was great. The animal visitors were a treat.

Self catering. Lovely accommodation

No air-conditioner in the living area, thus we had to run all 3 air-conditioners in the rooms, to cool down the living area, and paying extra for air-conditioner was a 1st for me at any guesthouse ever, even as I did find it was noted in the fineprint, when I checked again.

The aircons are prepaid and wasn't communicated before hand. It would have been nice if that was included in the price.

Everything! It was super comfortable, visiting animals in abundance, and the Bush Babies was an absolute treat. Make sure you are well stocked with wild feed, lucerne and bird seed! Can not wait for our next visit!

From the moment we stepped into the house, the bushveld calmness could be felt instantly. The house is beautiful, the layout so practical and spacious. Everything that you could need on a holiday was there. This is definitely the best place we have stayed in at Marloth Park over the years. Spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Thank you Kobus - for sharing your piece of heaven with us, looking forward to the next visit!

Beautiful house, very well decorated. Lovely and peaceful, sitting on the stoep looking at the animals. Very well equiped.

Kobus is an incredible host, he is a kind and well mannered person. we all loved the house, it felt like home and the animals were always visiting us. I would definitely visit again. thank you for having us and allowing us to stay a little more in your amazing place.

We liked everything, it was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. We also had an ice-maker, washing machine and an air fryer which were very useful.

We didn't like the fact that the kettle was not working

Excellent location. Truly a marvel. Saw all the animals you rarely find in the Kruger National Park up close

The Zebra's. Thwt try to eat the other animals food and chase them away.

This modern centrally located house is ideal for a family getaway where each of the double rooms have their own private bathrooms. The animal interaction is the most active and closest of all my experiences at Marloth Park. The wifi is great from all areas around the property and the tv offers a variety of streaming opportunities for viewing. We’ll definitely return again!

Everything was fine the house is beautiful the pool was clean

It was very clean , the aircon was amazing . It had everything we needed and also loved the animals that came to visit us.

The location was excellent. Just off the main road. The house met our every requirement and more. Very comfortable and clean. The owner thought of every fine detail in this beautiful home.

We enjoyed every moment at Sonop. The house is well equipped with everything. Ample space to keep things cold or frozen, even has an ice machine. The beds are super comfy. We all enjoyed the pool very much during the hot days. Also, great experience with all the animals coming close to the house for you to feed them. We will definitely return.

The wildlife on your door step was amazing. The accommodation was more than sufficient for 4 adults. I loved that each room had its own bathroom.

Everything was great.

What a great experience! The Sonop unit was fully equipped, perfectly neat and we were welcomed with tasty apricot jam and a giraffe in the driveway. The hosts were friendly and well organized, providing all information to ensure comfort and convenience during your stay. I absolutely recommend and would visit Sonop anytime again in the future.
