Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Everything was perfect from the moment booking was confirmed. The place was wholesome and private and perfect for a couples retreat. The complimentary romantic setup was perfect. The animals made it an amazing experience all over.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Dee en Brad zijn fantastisch vriendelijke hosts! Ons huisje was schoon, gezellig en praktisch! We vonden het fantastisch dat er een tuintje was waar we de dieren van heel dichtbij konden zien én konden voederen (eten werd voorzien door Dee en Brad). Wij hebben zelfs een giraffe gezien, wat onze ervaring echt onwerkelijk maakte. Locatie is ook prima voor wie graag een safari wil doen in Kruger Park.
Geen enkele opmerking! Het is een absolute aanrader. Prijs kwaliteit tip top in orde.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026When we arrived Dee and Brad Welcomed us on arrival and showed us the way ,what lovely people. They made the bed up beautifully for my Fiancé birthday and also made it special by wishing happy birthday on a welcome note . The animals at the suite were amazing to feed them and to wake up each morning having coffee and just to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere can’t ask for better getaway. Thanks so much Dee and Brad for having us . Magda &Brenden

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026Dee and Brad are excellent hosts, they kept us informed and are hands-on owners. I really appreciated all they did for us while we stayed in their unit. This is perfect accommodation for a couple like us, which love the bush. The unit was extremely clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the animals coming to visit us. It is close to the main road, but you don't hear it, and this allows quick access to exit Marloth for our early trips into KNP. This is such a lovely gem! I hope to be back soon
As it is advertised, there is no oven. I'm glad we knew, so we took our airfryer which met all our needs.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Peaceful, clean, all utensils you need for self catering, air corn, animals come to visit by the doorstep. Wilde beest, kudu, impala, warthog. shops are 5 minutes drive. Welcome bottle of wine, Brad and Dee are excellent hosts, helped us on which activities to do around area, quad biking, game drive, spa treatments, restaurant with animals view.

Reviewed Jan 13, 2025Extremely nice self-catering unit with everything you will need to make your stay memorable. Very clean spacious unit with a large en-suite bathroom. Large fridge and very well equipped kitchen. Friendly and nice hosts.
It must be noted that unfortunately this unit is next to a building site and we found the noise somewhat bothersome, this was the case with our visit (November 2024). We suggest calling to find out more about this but, it should be fine for stays over weekends, as building activities should also be halted over weekends.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2023The Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly want/need. The facility was clean and built very convenient with measures taken to prevent mosquitoes. Furnishings were new and very clean. The apartment's back up system was perfect, loadshedding did not exist during our time spent and we could enjoy making food and spending time together with the lights on at all times. The wifi provided was never lacking in download speed. Our Hosts were wonderful and very helpful, we even arrived hours before our booked appointment and they were still willing to assist us. The complimentary wine was a good selection as well.
The roads going to the apartment was a bit bumpy and washed away however I don't believe that they had any control over this. Having a television available would have been nice for our evenings spent at home.
