Raj Homestay- Homely Comfort

We had a truly wonderful stay at Raj Homestay. The title “homestay” truly lived up to its name, and we had an excellent host who took care of us as though we were part of his family. Although we stayed for just one night, we easily could have stayed longer. The approach road to the property is not the best, but we specifically wanted a place close to the ghat and temple, and the location suited us perfectly. Rajendra ji lso helped arrange our taxi from the airport to the homestay and ensured that we were looked after every step of the way. His hospitality is truly infectious, as he leaves no stone unturned to make his guests comfortable. As I mentioned before, we never felt like guests, we felt like members of his own family. A special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Rajendra for everything they did to make our stay so pleasant and memorable.

I have been to Vanarasi before and knowing the size of the hotel rooms, I didn’t want the same experience for my parents. The property comes with a 2 bedroom experience which is well suited for a comfortable stay. The owners are amazing- Uncle guiding us through with all his tips on places to visit, as far as even negotiating with Auto drivers to plan for our day. Aunty would check on my parents after every single day to the extent of making sure to order the famous food in Varanasi that my parents wouldn’t have a chance to eat on the day. My parents stay at Varanasi was beautiful and I have to credit the owners and the property to a huge extent, for it.

Location-wise, it was perfect – peaceful and yet conveniently close to local attractions, eateries, and transportation and temples in Varanasi. If you’re looking for a stay that combines comfort, charm, and the warmest hospitality imaginable, look no further. This propertly is a gem, and I can’t wait to return. Very good location. Just walkable distance to vishwanath temple & major ghats of sacred ganga river. As we enter the room we felt as if I entering my home. All required facilities are there in entire 2 BHK apartment. My stay in kasi was 4 nights. But I booked the Raj Homestay for one day night with an idea to first see the facilities, neatness & avalabalities in the apartment. Mr. Rajendra, the owner of the property personal interest of our arrival. The way he treated us at the entrance & his way of approaching & welcome impressed us. After seeing all these, we decided to continue all the 4 nights stay at the apartment. Both Mr. Rajendra and his wife Mrs. Sita guided us throughout my stay & made all arrangements such as temple darshan, transportation such as rickshaw and taxi for sightseeing. They were very friendly & courteous. The property is very safe for a family stay. Tastey food is available just outside the apartment, totally my stay was very comfortable.

Rajendra Ji and Bhabhiji are amazing hosts who treated us like family, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we were stuck in Kashi’s traffic, they immediately sent someone to guide us. They also helped arrange smooth temple darshans, making our spiritual journey effortless. When our child needed medical attention, they quickly assisted by sending their staff with vehicle to doctor. No matter what we needed, they were always there to help with warmth and care. The rooms at Raj Home Stay are beautifully designed by an interior designer, offering a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. Equipped with all modern facilities, they provide a cozy and relaxing stay. Plus, the location is perfect—close to all major attractions like the ghats and Kashi Vishwanath Temple, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. I was travelling with my family and the property is very near to all ghats and temple kashi vishwanath temple. The host is an amazing person. The property is very clean and accessible. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely recommend this property to everyone.

The hosts were excellent. Both Rajji and his wife Sitaji are very helpful and forthcoming. Property is well maintained and was clean. Small kitchen with induction top and basic dishware was helpful for making tea. They have domestic help who were helpful with luggage and errands.

The location chetganj is not the cleanest and the walk outside to the square is filled with heavy traffic. I guess this is true for almost all of Varanasi. Location though is central

Hosts were very helpful and kept in touch with us through WhatsApp. Arranged for taxi to and from airport. Provided extra towels and guided us on local food and sight seeing. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean.

The way to the property is not very clean and a bit congested.

They are very very ver caring, they ensured that I find the place without problem, helped me with the luggage. The rooms are the best, extremely well cleaned and felt like home. You get such experience very less, but they made us feel like home, excellent stay and excellent host.

Wifi can be improved, though it was not a problem for me as had enough data.

Ambiance was good, rooms were spacious and clean. Mr Rajendra, the host was really helpful.

The stay felt like a home away from home. Rajender ji's hospitality made our stay even better. He made sure that we got everything we wanted and helped in getting food delivered to our rooms whenever we ordered food online. Definitely going to stay here if we go to Varanasi again.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Sri Rajendra jee guides us staring from booking with a pleasant welcome note.After reaching the railway station ,he helps to reach the property. Property is located nearby all the temple.All the facility especially cleanliness was excellent. Staff behaviour was very cordial. We enjoyed the location. And above all ,Sri Rajendra jee also helped us in Darsan and was available 24 hours over phone.

The absolute star of this property is Mr Rajendra Jaiswal and his wife. The dedication and the passion that they work with and the compassion they have for pilgrims coming to Kashi is exceptional. Mr Jaiswal helped me arrange wonderful Darshan of Kashi Vishwanath mandir and also provided transport help of his personal vehicle and staff for my mother to the dashashwamegh ghat. Really appreciate the hospitality of the owners. About the property, its wonderful homestay. All amenities of any high value hotel is provided. All basic amenities included. Home is just wonderful. Recommend it to everyone!!! I will personally book this homestay if i ever get chance to visit Kashi again.

Mr. and Mrs Rajendra Jaiswal ji are very kind host. They made us feel at home like an extended family. On arrival, Jaiswal ji helped to resolve the cab issue. This property is located  on the main road yet very close to the kashi vishwanth temple, just 15 mins by walk. Rajendraji took care of our needs and made us feel comfortable. One of the best hosts I have come across. Rooms are neat and clean. Highly recommend this property for family stay. They took special care of my daughter, and she developed a special bond with them. My mother-in-law injured her finger, and mrs. Jaiswal applied homemade remedy, and it worked wonders. Thank you, Jaiswal family, for being such a wonderful host. We wish to visit you again !!!

The experience began even before we had arrived in Varanasi. The owner of the property - Mr Rajender, reached out 2 days prior to our arrival to ensure that we are well informed about our stay and if we had any query. He remained in contact continuously till we had reached the property. His homestay property was very good. Well furnished flat, cleanliness, maintenance, all assured us of our comfortable stay. Though we didn't have meals included in our package but Mr. Rajender never hesitated to serve us a cup of tea at 12AM in the night as well and ensured we relax well after a long travel. Even after reaching back to our city, they called us to confirm if we had a pleasant journey back to home and if my daughter was better as she was under weather on the last night of our trip. Mr & Mrs Rajender Jaiswal were one of its kind hosts we have met. We hope they continue with their stride. Whenever we visit Varanasi next, we would love to stay at their homestay.

I think this is really difficult to answer. It's not because of the property but local authorities who keep on changing road blocks and no entries that once we had to travel a long way to home on E-rickshaw, but by foot its always the easiest option. It's only 15 mins distance from Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir. We went on foot thrice to the mandir.
