Absolutely lovely place to stay. The views are fantastic, the unit is beautiful clean and neat. The hosts are friendly and helpful and went above my expectations to make my stay comfortable.

Die Unterkunft liegt in den Hügeln oberhalb von Wilderness in einer traumhaft grünen Lage! Top gepflegt, super sauber, eine eigeneTerrasse mit anschließendem Garten ist direkt vor dem Zimmer, der Blick sus dem Bett einfach unschlagbar! Die super nette Gastgeberin Marian hat an jede Kleinigkeit gedacht - von den Muffins zur Begrüßung bis hin zu Joghurts im Kühlschrank, Kaffee, Tee, Kerzen mit Feuerzeug, Handcreme, Raumduft....besser geht's nicht! Dazu die herzliche und liebevolle Art, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Man muss wissen, dass Google maps mit dem Finden der Unterkunft überfordert ist🙈Auch die angegebenen Koordinaten führten uns in die Irre! Allerdings ist Marian das Problem bekannt und sie hat uns eine detaillierte Wegbeschreibung per whatsapp geschickt, sodass wir nach anfänglichen leichten Problemen den Weg gut gefunden haben. Das ist jedoch keine Kritik, sondern lediglich eine Anmerkung! Google maps hat in SA öfter mal Probleme...

Round the bend appartement is a gem. In this perfection we did not yet see an appartment with all the little tiny and useful extras. The place/view is stunning. Last but not least Marian is a great host with a lot of valuable advices for having a great time in Wilderness. Thanks for all.

One of the most beautiful stays we’ve had recently! Located on the mountains with large windows to a breathtaking view of the valley, you get to wake up to total serenity and chirping of birds, and relax into beautiful sunsets in the garden. It’s also located a close driving distance to everything you need, including beautiful waterfall hikes. The place was equipped with a small kitchen which was perfect for our needs and great WiFi. Most importantly - Marian was the most wonderful and caring host, gave great recommendations, brought us muffins, was highly responsive and really just made the whole stay even better!

A perfect spot if you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil getaway in nature. Marian and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating, and have lots of great recommendations and knowledge of the area. The place is very clean, comfortable, with fantastic amenities. Would highly recommend.

Round the Bend is an absolute “gem” and consider yourself lucky if you are able to book nights. The host has thought of everything to make your stay wonderful.

I was totally blown away. The host was friendly even gave advice of places to go things to do. Within the room which was already beautiful made up on it own there were literally everything one would need and more. She left us enough things for breakfast for two days it was great quality muesli,yogurt,cinnamon buns,coffee pods, filter coffee,tea,milk even the bathroom had so much as headache tablets,sunblock. Never have I had such an amazing stay before and we had the place to ourselves. Beautiful and quiet. Thank you very much Mariaan for an amazing stay will definitely do it again when in Wilderness

Marian is a great host! The accommodation is very high quality and private. You have absolute peace and privacy. The view is stunning and the garden is idyllic. We can absolutely recommend it and would love to come back.

The venue is superbly situated high up on the mountain with beautiful views across the mountains and valleys. This place comes highly recommended when seeking peace and quiet. If ever a couple needs some private and quiet time together, this is the place to be. Our expectations were truly exceeded.

This property is great value for money. It is beautiful little apartment and the host is a wonderful person. Everything was just perfect!

There is absolutely nothing not to like

Marian was truly a wonderful host! The place has everything you need, with care and attention given to the small details. We loved the view, the comfortable bed and how peaceful it was.

Perfect Location overlooking the mountains trust me you can never be depressed staying here, you wake up and be greeted by the lovely mountains, keen for peace of mind away from everything look no further. From the room you can see the attention to detail, she went all out out ,we had muesli, muffins for breakfast, for coffee lovers do not worry there is a cute mini coffee machine, meat lovers there is a lovely braai area, she also gives you a chance to explore the property and its breathtaking hai we are coming back here.

10 is not enough. If you like the nature but you like to be comfortable this is the place.The room is just in front the forest and you are basically sleeping in the middle of the nature. The room is comfortable and clean, with a lot of things to perfume it and to have breakfast (granola, milk, muffins and other stuffs) You must have your car to reach the place, but Marian is very responsive giving all the Info you need to reach the place.

The garden and the views were magnificent. Marian got it all right, the room has all the facilities you can wish for. Outstanding hospitality, no room for improvement. This place is exceptional. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect.

The gardens were beautiful , and the views spectacular. No loadshedding (solar powered). Had everything in the apartment that you need to be comfortable. Had access to a braai area if we needed to braai . The hosts were very friendly, informative and welcoming.

Doesn’t have a stove to cook things .

Loved everything! The view is spectacular, such a pleasure to be able to enjoy a coffee in bed looking out over the mountains. Very comfortable bed, extremely well stocked kitchenette, even a nespresso machine and pods. Lovely bathroom with very big shower. Beautiful gardens. Marian was a lovely host, very good communication and really went the extra mile, even leaving some yogurts and milk. And the property was extremely clean. Great location, would recommend this property and we will definitely stay again

Nothing. It’s perfect

We felt relaxed and welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room has breathtaking views and we enjoyed daily walks around the property. The room has all the amenities you require to be comfortable and we appreciated the extra goodies such as cereal, yoghurt, milk and good coffee! It was also a 5 minute drive to a variety of amazing restaurants which was a bonus

Nothing- it exceeded our expectations!

Lots of attention to detail. Lots of unexpected extras : Nespresso coffee machine, muesli, yoghurt, milk, biscuits. 5* decor and amenities. Exquisite setting ..... the garden is a haven for the soul.

Everything was perfect!

As soon as we entered the gate, peace fell upon us. The gardens were lovely, and the view was magnificent. Our room was cozy with everything you need and more!! From a toothpick to an earbud, there was nothing that was needed. The bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed the small desk fan a lot!! We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Round the Bend. If you need rest, this is the place. It's very quiet, only the birds and the rippling of water, from the fountain that was heard. All and all, a lovely stay!

Loved my stay at Round the bend. On my arrival, I was greeted by the host, Marian and I was made to feel like part of the family. Waking up to beautiful views of the wilderness lush green mountains and valleys was breathtaking. The garden is just WOW WOW WOW.

The views from this property are absolutely breathtaking. Our host Marian was so accommodating and she was always checking in to see if she could make our stay more comfortable. I would highly recommend this gorgeous property.

one of the best properties I’ve ever stay and the best in SA! outstanding! there are no words to describe the nature but also, Marian and Jo just lovely hosts! they took everything inside and outside of the place. design is wow! and it’s so comfortable. I’m very picky when it comes to bed’s clothing. in this property you sleep in the clouds ☁️ it’s soooo good! and she got you covered with the morning breakfast and coffee or tea. I wish I could have stay longer… for a week or so. this is a rare kind you would find. Book it before someone else does 😉

We loved everything about Round the Bend. It was very tranquil and every morning we woke up we had the most amazing views over the mountains. We will can definitely recommend it to people that want to break away from their busy lives. Plus our hosts thought of everything for the room. There is nothing that we needed to ask for as it was already supplied. And our host were amazing. Thank you for making our start to the holiday season amazing.
