The apartment is lovely with luxury finishes. It is equipped with welcome extras like a Nespresso machine and an electric blanket. The hostess Maria was very welcoming and provided delicious home made chocolate cake and rusks. The area is quiet and the apartment is very private.

Tolles, sauberes und ruhiges Apartment. Etwas außerhalb oben am Berg, dennoch ist man mit dem Auto innerhalb von 2 Minuten im Zentrum und am Strand. Super herzlicher Empfang von Maria. Sie gibt Ausflugstipps und Informationen. Küche ohne Herdplatte, ansonsten alles da was man braucht. Wasserkocher, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Grill....und natürlich ihre selbstgebackenen Kekse 😍. Sehr zum empfehlen, alles Top 👍

Breakfast not included. Location on steep incline a bit tough for two seniors but we managed.

Counter space very limited. Fridge was tiny. There is space for a larger fridge which would be helpful for a longer stay

Maria, die Verwalterin macht einen tollen Job und manchmal auch Dinge möglich, die eigentlich nicht gehen! DANKE, Maria! Sehr gerne wieder!

In dem Appartement war alles vorhanden, und es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

Das Appartment liegt hoch auf dem Berg, und die Straße ist sehr steil. Keine Aussicht auf die umgebende Landschaft.

We stayed just one night in this lovely apartment. The decor was charming, and the apartment was well-organized. We were warmly welcomed. Maria was very helpful, offering great tips and being incredibly guest-friendly. We highly recommend this apartment.

A small note: the apartment is located at the top of a steep street, so a car is necessary.

The apartment is so much more spacious than the pictures suggested. It is beautifully furnished, modern and very cozy. There is tons of storage space in the bedroom and everything was very clean. Maria and Alison were the kindest hosts and I felt incredibly welcomed and safe. Maria even made me some chocolate cakes and rusks which tasted absolutely amazing and Alison was so kind to drop me off at the farm I‘m volunteering at after my stay. If I ever need to escape the volunteering life again, I‘ll 100 per cent book this place again. I don‘t think that I‘ve ever experienced this kind of hospitality before and it really made my stay here an awesome experience. The town is also not far away. Just be aware that the road is very steep and you have to be somewhat fit to make it up and down the road to get to and from the apartment. Maria did provide contact information of taxi drivers in town as well as recommendations for restaurants and activities. Thank you so much for everything!!!!

There was nothing I didn‘t like about the apartment but it would have been awesome to have one of those portable electric hotplates for cooking.

We love this spacious, comfortable apartment with its superb shower room and comfortable bed. The living area is very comfortable with an impressively large television and many channels! Most importantly the owners' investment in solar panels mean that it is unaffected by load-shedding. Maria, who manages the property, is absolutely splendid. It is quietly set on the hillside behind Wilderness Village with reasonably speedy car access to restaurants, supermarket and all the coastal and lakeside scenic delights of Wilderness.

Perhaps the only limitation for self-caterers is the lack of a hob (currently there is just a microwave oven). Investment in a single or double portable induction hob with one or two stainless steel pans would be an inexpensive upgrade. That would complement the splendid Nespresso machine!

Everything in the accommodation was very thoughtful. All decor and amenities were excellent and Maria the manager was excellent in every way. Her chocolate treat was to die for. All & a wonderful place to stay and truly a home from home.

Everything! the most beautiful location set on a hill. The warm ambience, the decor which is tastefully done, the added touches which is so thoughtful by the best host you’ll ever meet. She’s Such a kind hearted person that will creep into your heart and have you returning. No load shedding and electric blankets during this icy winter helped a lot. Perfection!

Everything! Welcomed by the most amazing host you’ll ever meet! The heater had been lit up before arrival so the apartment was warm. The non interrupted power supply no load shedding!!! The mini kitchen was perfect and overall very spacious. The bed was super comfy and everything was clean! I highly recommend!

Simply put.....everything!

Very neat and clean. Exeptional bathroom with everything you need. Full dstv and there was no loadshedding. Very unique destination with spectacular views. Neighborhood is very quiet. The hostess was extremely nice and hospitable. They also provided a gas heater when it got colder.

Given South Africa's power problems, the presence of solar power for the whole property is an immense bonus that cannot ɓe understated! The Nespresso coffee machine was a tremendous boon. The bathroom facilities were great, especially the walk-in shower.

The hostess here at Sunset Kloof No.1 was exceptional and really went the extra mile to make sure that our stay was memorable. As for the apartment itself, it is just so beautiful! We felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel. Another big bonus was that the house is on solar power so loadshedding didn't affect us!

A clean, pleasant and nicely appointed apartment. All aspects are carefully catered for with a microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge readily available. The bathroom has a walk in shower and is newly finished. LED tv screen links you to DSTV with full access to international news, sports channels and even movies. The owners live in the adjacent building and are readily available to welcome you on arrival and during your stay. This is an apartment that is well recommended.

Maria was a wonderful host. She really made our stay special and helped us with everything we needed. The flat was really comfy with a lot of space. All the furniture was new and super modern. We really enjoyed our stay and can definitly recommend!
