The building and room are very grand and the whole fit- out has been meticulously done.

Très bon séjour, un point de départ idéal pour visiter Mons à pied.

À deux pas de la grand place, beffroi, collégiale... Parfait pour une visite de Mons. Bon plan avec le parking inclus et la gentillesse de Serge. Bien équipé et la clim en ces périodes de canicule

Le wifi est faible par moment et la salle de bain petite mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de profiter de cette demeure et de notre escapade à Mons

Photos don’t do the room justice. It’s like a beautiful Parisian apartment in a lovely chateau. Spacious room, huge comfy bed. Shower and dressing area tucked behind panel doors. Coffee machine. Use of kitchen with fridge and appliances. Parking on site and close to centre. Luxurious. Loved the art gallery and gardens in front of it.

Echt een prachtige grote kamer. Heel proper en heel goed bed. Hele goeie douche: groot en direct warm water. Privé parking is een absolute meerwaarde zeker omdat de B&B in de stad ligt. Locatie kan niet beter zijn. Vlakbij alle horeca en centrum. Ontvangst was zeer hartelijk door Serge. Moesten we ooit nog eens terugkomen, zal het zeker terug in deze B&B zijn!

La qualité humaine de Serge. Le côté intérieur avec une belle déco ainsi que l.extérieur avec un salon de jardin et les jolis rosiers.

De ruimte en goede ligging met privé parkeerplaats

Topmatras was te zacht. Groot mooi tv, maar helaas geen zenders.

Riesige Suit. Sehr toller zum Umbau der Zimmer. Hat alles gut geklappt, es wurde auch sehr schnell auf Mails geantwortet.

Etwas schlecht zu finden. Hier sollte eventuell nachgebessert werden.

Perfekte Lage um die Altstadt zu erkunden. Wunderschönes und gemütliches Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, was bei dieser Hitze sehr vorteilhaft war. Gute Infos betreffend Check-in und Parkplatz.

Entry communication was clear, the property was easy to access and has plenty of parking spaces. Bumpy cobbles to the front door a test for the cases. The key boxes are on a wall at your back as you face the door. Steps to the first floor steep with narrow treads, typical in Belgium. The suite is very grand in scale, clean, modern and very comfortable. Nice bathroom and spacious walk in robe. There is access to a communal kitchen, in room facilities limited to tea and coffee. The location was great with a short walk to the main squares and historic attractions. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The only minor issue was the separate WC was very tight and out of character with the rest of the suite.

Super Lage und schön renovierter Altbau. Lage sehr praktisch um Abends schnell in die Innenstadt zu gehen.

Serge the owner was an amazing host, he kindly thought of everything, the information he provided was so helpful and comprehensive, the suite was beautiful , artistic and exceptionally clean and very spacious. The location was perfect and only a very short walk away from lovely restaurants, cafes ad eateries, l highly recommend the suite la duchesse and the gated parking was a real bonus.

Mooie ruime kamer, comfortabel groot bed en de privé parking was heel erg fijn. Contact met de host was soepel en prettig. Mochten we nog een keer in Mons zijn dan komen we graag terug!

La communication avec l hôte plutôt sympathique la position centrale et le calme des lieux, la taille de la chambre le côté cosi.

Le matelas bcp bcp trop mou et inconfortable. La douche pas assez chaude. Mais surtout le matelas. C'est vraiment l élément central de la chambre et ça n'allait vraiment pas désolé

La chambre est magnifique, et l'ambiance de Noël dans le hall etait féerique. L'emplacement est idéal pour parcourir Mons sans prendre la voiture et sans marcher des kilomètres.

Dit is de tweede keer dat we hier komen en het blijft geweldig. Heel rustige kamer en stijlvol ingericht. Uitstekende bedden voor rustige nachten en de keuken staat volledig ter uwer beschikking. Een uitstekende plek om de mooie stad Mons te bezoeken. Een aanrader.

Tout était parfait ! La literie trés bonne, la déco magnifique et avec beaucoup de gouts, et la maison dispose d’une cuisine commune très bien équipée, où l’on peut se préparer un bon petit déjeuner ou même des repas si on le souhaite. L’emplacement est idéal, en plein centre-ville de Mons, avec un parking sécurisé pour la voiture. Notre hôte Serge est d’une gentillesse extraordinaire et très arrangeant. Vraiment, je recommande ce lieu sans hésiter !

We had difficulty locating it, as the road has several names. It might be useful to describe by reference to a neighbour or the bar opposite.

Incroyable ! Serge, l’hôte nous a très bien accueilli des le debut. Un grand merci, ce fut un beau sejour au sein de l’établissement.

This is in such a great location! And such a fabulous stay! We had travelled quite a way by motorcycle that day, and although we missed it on arrival first time around the block, as our satnav wanted us to go to the rear of the building, the property was clearly named on the gate and we found it no problem. Serge’s instructions were super detailed and completely accurate. Key codes for gates, key box for room, instructions to find the suite - all spot on. He is a very responsive and helpful host. Perfect secure parking for the bike too. Really comfortable bed, excellent shower and quiet location. Lovely shared kitchen amenity. A special thanks for the restaurant recommendations too - Roberto’s for supper was superb and the patisserie down the road supplied the most wonderful breakfast pastries.

I think the only thing which could be improved and would give a total wow factor would be a quick tidy up of the main entrance hall. I did briefly wonder if we’d accidentally walked into the wrong house due to all the packaging boxes in the hall. Then I saw the visitor’s book and knew we were in the right building!

Best location in Mons that offers secure parking free on the property. The lovely old property is being lovingly restored and is comfortable and very clean. It was very quiet as well. Serge, the host, met us briefly by chance and was quite personable.

The directions for locating the key to access the room should make it clear that the key box is located on the brick wall that is on the outside facing the front door. There was a big trailer obscuring the boxes and we were lucky someone inside helped us. Then we helped the next guests checking in who were as confused as we were.

An outstanding stay in a period property with very modern facilities. The host (Serge) and his staff are very helpful and kind - nothing is too much trouble. The location is quiet, but within a very short walk to the centre. The safe parking facilities are a real bonus in Mons. Highly recommended to all. Superb. AP

the beauty of the premises, the house is gorgeous. free parking in the city. spacious room with loads of windows, making it really bright. huge TV and fire place, free coffee/tea in the room. walk-in closet & big shower. very big bed and couple of sofas to chill-out in room. fully equipped, shared kitchen on the floor.

nothing :o) but if I have to be picky: the height of the bed (quite difficult to get on it), the softness of the mattress and the relatively narrow space between the sink and the wall in the bathroom.

The owner is really friendly and helpful. My room was really nice.

To find the location was not a good experience. The address given is not matching on any SatNav. This is not very convenient, especially when you arrive late in the evening. It took me 35 min walking around trying to find it. I was lucky there was an open shop in vicinity, which owner helped me to find the place. Will strongly recommend to add explanation how to get to the property especially providing that it is well known that the adress can't be find through SatNav (Google Maps, etc.). Additionally, it was challenging to find my room, would recommend putting name or number tags on the room's doors.

The room was quirky and fun.

The building looked tired and the kitchen arrangements were odd. A provision for only chocolate spread and honey was made in addition to the usual coffee and tea.

Excellent rooms that are well designed, comfortable and great secure parking. There is a common area with food, but loved the Nespresso machine in the room!

No lift, also the internet wasn’t working while we were there- but I think that shouldn’t be an issue for future guests.

The owner was responsive, helpful with an issue, and made a great impression by ensuring genuine satisfaction for guests. The room was located in a splendid old house about 5-6 minutes' walk from the main square. There was secure parking and access to the room was straightforward.

This is minor feedback; having a letter on the key fobs confirming the room is great (we had a D for Duchess) and a corresponding sign/mark on the room door would be even more helpful! :)

Property difficult to find. No name on building or house number. It is a work in progress. Several items in room and common areas were in stages of renovation. No lift.

The owner, Serge, was extremely accomodating, showed me around, and he gave great food and attraction recommendations. The bed was amazing and the temperature of the room was perfect. The shower was excellent as well. Lots of room, a hidden gem in downtown Mons. 100% will go back! Parking, which was hard to find was excellent as well. Private parking, secure behind a gate.

Intriguing interior, like an hommage to a secret rooms in a palace, talking about the comfort is very nice and practical: parking downstairs, kitchen is nice, location is very good. Bed is like a cloud, definitely a highlight

Absolutely helpful and supportive host (greetings, Serge!!!). Location is really convenient, no traffic noise. Premises - absolutely clean. Bed. Oh, that bed is not only king size, but also king comfortable and soft like a cloud. Kitchen is brand new furnished with all equipment you might need for your cuisine mastership. All in all, I would definitely recommend it for all, who travel to Mons.

Toilet is on one side of the room and the bathroom - on the other. So, to wash your hands after toilet, you have to "travel" too much. A very strong wind was howling one night, and roofing tin was clattering like hell.
