Reviewed Mar 18, 2026Liz is an absolute wonderful host. Very welcoming, warm and super helpful. The place was clean and had all the amentities and more. She adds all these little touches to the place. She is just such a naturally lovely human being. In fact we decided to stay an extra night because of the place and her hospitality. Whenever we return to Mossel Bay, we will definitely stay at Liz's Retreat.

We had pets and there wasn't a suitable enclosure gate.We had disturbances the whole night, with people moving in and out past our door and off course set the dogs barking.They were also setting and putting alarm of intermittently of the house.This was very disturbing and unsettling.
