The Hub Kampot

The room was clean with a comfortable bed and cold A/C.

The staff is not located at the hotel, and I had to wait for their arrival to check-in even after communicating my arrival time in advance. The room also did not contain any basic soap or shampoo like most hotels do that I've stayed in, especially for the price I paid to stay there.

La dueña era muy simpática y amable y estuvimos charlando un rato. Negocio sencillo montado por ella misma. Puede conseguirte pimienta de capot a buen precio en el mercado.

Instalaciones muy básicas, la puerta de entrada al edificio está siempre abierta y en recepción no hay nadie porque la dueña trabaja en varios sitios. La habitación es muy básica con una decoración muy simple y el colchón es bastante delgadito. Está bien para una noche porque ofrece lo indispensable, una cama y una ducha limpias.

J'ai beaucoup aimé l'hospitalité et la gentillesse de la propriétaire qui a également un restaurant à quelques rues de là où l'on mange des plats vraiment très bons et pour pas chère ! Les chambres sont grandes et d'une propreté irréprochable ! Vous êtes totalement autonome pour rentrer et sortir de l'établissement quelque soit l'heure de la journée et de la nuit ! Je suis grandement satisfait de mon séjour dans cet établissement et j'en garderai un très bon souvenir ! Merci beaucoup à vous pour votre accueil, Moni !

Sehr zentral gelegen, zufälligerweise direkt neben dem Transportunternehmen mit welchem wir gefahren sind. Die Besitzerin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und war flexibel z.B. als wir ein Late Checkout angefragt haben. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Für den Preis hatten wir alles was wir benötigten. Wasserspender zum kostenlos Wasser auffüllen gab es auch.

Very good location in the center. The room was clean and shower and facilities were great. We had a water fountain for drinking and a coffee station that was an added bonus. Moni the owner was very kind and responsive for every problem especially for renting scooters and laundry service. She also owns a smash burger restaurant and a khmer cuisine restaurant in the same place (7min away by foot) 10% off for guests so definitely would recommend staying here when in Kampot.

Prima kamers, hele fijne locatie, super aardige eigenaren! Erg behulpzaam, mochten na het uitchecken nog douchen. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding!

Le logement est grand, bien situé et l'environnement est calme. Correct sur la propreté générale, mais des détritus étaient présents sur le balcon à notre arrivée. Il n'y a pas de bouilloire électrique dans les chambres mais une fontaine à eau chaude/ froide disponible dans les espaces communs. Fait le job pour quelques jours sur place.

Nice room with little balcony. I find it confortable. Location is nice, less than 10 min from the riverside. You’re independant but the owner is available on whatsapp if needed

Lovely place, nice easy check in and great communication. A short walk from the river which is where most things are based. We had a lovely stay.

The location of the Hub is good, not too close to the river and town center and noise and yet an easy and pleasant walk to the downtown. It is very close to some nice restaurants and to the Lucky grocery store. My room in particular was very spacious and had a nice view from the balcony. Some rooms are smaller and have a different view or no view. I stayed at the Hub for a month. There was a minor issue that came up at the end due to an unfortunate misunderstanding and which I felt was not well handled. I left with that unresolved which soured my stay but overall I enjoyed my time at the Hub.

The bed itself and the mattress is very comfortable but the sheets are synthetic and slippery so I found myself quite wound up in the sheets by morning. Other than that I found the Hub to be good value.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist echt super und man bekommt ein großes Zimmer mit allem, was man braucht. Der Scooter-Verleih hat problemlos über die Unterkunft geklappt. Es gibt kostenloses Wasser und Tee im Flur für alle verfügbar.

Leider war das Zimmer nicht komplett sauber. Auf dem Bett und auf dem Boden waren leider viele Haare. Im Bad hat es leider schimmelig gerochen.

Accueil chaleureux et la gérante est ultra disponible. L'emplacement est idéal et très calme. La chambre était immense, très propre, avec une terrasse et tous les équipements nécessaires. Nous avons aussi profité du service de location de vélo !

Comme ailleurs dans le pays, le matelas était recouvert d'une bâche en plastique, ce qui est peut être assez désagréable (sensation, bruit et chaleur).

I liked everything about this hotel, great location and room size, cleanliness, there is a work place in the room, water refill on the floor. But the main thing is the best hostess of the hotel Moni, a wonderful person who will help with all questions and is simply very pleasant to talk to. I lived there 9 days instead of 1 and I am sad to leave, I would have stayed longer if my plans allowed. She also owns a burger restaurant Smashed Burgers not far from the hotel, you must visit it because it has the best burgers in Kampot.

Really appreciated the space, comfortable BIG bed, wifi, fridge, A/C and warm shower. Moni also helped us out with laundry - thank you! The Hub is within walking distance of the river.

Probably the cleanest guesthouse I’ve stayed in thus far in SEA. Thoughtful touches in the room and hallways, like unlimited access to free drinking water and extra towels. There is no one on the property at all times, but Moni is always available and will help with all your needs, such as scooter rental or booking a bus. Immaculate & spacious bathroom, where you’re not showering directly over the toilet, which isn’t a big deal when it’s like that, but you really notice it when the design is well thought out. About a 5 minute walk from the riverfront, and a little more from the town center, but on a quiet little alley with a peaceful vibe. The AC in the room works very fast & is almost too good—I found myself getting a bit chilly at night—but you can turn turn the temp up.

My only real issue was that my room was on the top floor, so several flights of stairs to climb. But the stairs are wide and well-built, another well-thought out design in a pretty new building. And anyway, that’s a personal problem—I’m an older gent with bad feet. Most people won’t even think twice. I was happy to make the trade off for such a great stay.

For the price the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was fine with a short walk to get to the river front where restaurants and bra are located. Only stayed 1 night but wish I could have stayed longer, Kampot looked like a great place.

If you’re after a chill, no-fuss place in Kampot that won’t break the bank, this spot’s a total win. It’s quiet, clean as a whistle, and super affordable. Moni, the owner, is an absolute legend—easygoing, speaks solid English, and always happy to help. You’ve got all the basics covered—hot/cold drinking water on tap, cheap laundry, and a bang-on location. Just a short wander to local cafés, eats, Lucky Supermarket, and the riverside, where you’ll find loads of bars and Western grub. Getting around’s a breeze with PassApp, and food delivery through Nham or Grab is quick and easy. You’re also right near all the big bus lines like Giant Ibis and Ekareach, plus there’s ABA Bank, decent massage spots (Bali and Seeing Blinds), and other handy stuff just around the corner. Night market and Pasta Corner are a stone’s throw away, and yep—there’s even a 7-Eleven nearby for late-night munchies. The train station’s only 5–7 minutes away if you’re keen to bounce to Phnom Penh, Kep, or Sihanoukville. And don’t sleep on Smashed Burger, also run by Moni—great spot to grab a bite and back a local legend. All in all, this place is a solid shout. Highly recommend.

A thick cotton comforter would be the cherry on top—perfect match for the cozy bed and that ice-cold AC breeze. The rest? No complaints, it’s all smooth sailing.

🏠 The room was modern, spacious and clean and had AC. The bathroom was also clean and modern. 📍 The location was great as it was just 5-10min to the riverside and the center of Kampot. From here, you can also get to anywhere quickly by scooter or tuktuk. 🚰 There is free drinking water on every floor, on the 2nd floor there is also hot and cold water as well as coffee and mugs.

🛏 The bed was average for Southeast Asia, not great but also not terrible.

Good value for the price. Clean room with air con, fridge and balcony in quiet location. Kitchen available downstairs. Owner is friendly and helpful. Would recomend.

I was on 2nd floor and stairs could be a challenge sometimes.

Everything was perfect! Lady who owns the accomodation is so nice and helpful. We had a small double room. A/C working great, clean, comfy. You have also kettle, coffee or tea and water for free. Very close to the city centre but quiet. Possible to rent a motorbike. We would stay again!

The location of the hotel is excellent. Situated in a quiet street, restaurants and supermarkets are close by, and it is also within walking distance of the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable. Moni, the owner, is really kind and helpful. I truly enjoyed my stay there.

The property is close to both the river and bars and restaurants. A good position to base yourself whilst having a look around Kampot and only a 40 minute Tuk Tuk to have a look at Kep Very well priced

Internet never worked. Not enough furniture in the room.

Had a great stay in this guest house, which is a hidden gem. Booked three nights initially, but kept extending. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is central, yet quiet. Moni is a fantastic host, always with a smile on her face. She's also running a small burger shop in town, so go check that out as well. Will definitely book here again when I'm returning to Kampot.

Just very minor things that got all resolved.

Moni is amazing, she took such great care of me during my stay! It is an enormous room with great wifi. I also loved the location - walking distance to cafes, river, and market but on a peaceful street away from the noise.
