Die Hütte ist sehr schön am Ortsrand gelegen. Sie ist sehr gemütlich und durchdacht eingerichtet. Sogar einen Herd gibt es. Wir wären gern länger geblieben. Vielen Dank!
Fab host lots of information and very helpful. Allowed me a late check-out which I was extremely grateful for Comfortable bed but it's high Compact Half door was lovely touch
Kitchen chairs uncomfortable especially when the only other place to sit is the bed Water heater only heats a small amount of water at a time No light/lamp at the bed because of the height of the bed i was afraid of falling. No plug near bed its down at end of kitchenette Shower curtain torn and had seen better days
Very friendly and helpful host. A small(ish) but very well designed space which was super for the 2 of us. Lovely shower! Quiet! Warm! Good location with lots to see and do.
Slightly feels overlooked by nearby houses but its a marvellous place and we'd stay again!
Un lloc molt acollidor i molt ben situat.
Oonagh was very welcoming and gave us very worthwhile information about local events and places of interest.
한적한 동네
와이파이가 안된다
Gorgeous and cosy hut, perfect for a couple of nights stay for our family. Oonagh was really helpful and supplied extra blankets for our 18 month old to make sure our stay was comfortable as possible
Nothing! It was exactly what we wanted.
Such a lovely cosy little place. All you need for a short stay. Good location, walking distance to the local pub a quick drive to a really nice restaurant/bar. We did gelncar waterfall and Carrick on Shannon. We will definitely return.
Everything is easy to use and close to local amenities as well as to Sligo. Would stay again.
It's a beautiful, modern and well-equipped cabin in a lovely quiet area. It's very comfy and cosy with everything you need. Oonagh was very nice and attentive.
Some extra hooks to hang coats/ bags.
Cozy Spot in a beautiful Town. Close to many attractions. Amazing value
I had to leave.:)
Very cute and contained converted hut right in the village
It was perfect, lack of wifi was only downside
Gorgeous comfortable chalet. Was a perfect location for the exploring I had planned.
Not major issues but unfortunately my internet did not work well in the chalet. Very small hot water tank.
Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage, privater Parkplatz vor der Hütte, Lebensmittelgeschäft fußläufig erreichbar, sehr nette Vermieter, außergewöhnlich schöne Unterkunft.
A lovely stay in a beautiful little cabin. Great communication from the hosts. The bed was amazingly spacious and comfy and everything you need for a short stay was right there. The village is only a short stroll away and all the big natural attractions are only a short drive from this location.
The rain...but I can hardly blame Oonagh and Frank for that one!
It was our first time staying in Shepherd's Hut, and hopefully, it won't be our last.
There is nothing we could think of.(Maybe a electric fan ), but it was a warm weekend.
Located near Sligo, Ben Bulben, Queen Maeves tomb,....The hut has all we needed: fully equipped kitchen, shower, good bed and garden bench. We loved the concept. Oonagh is a very friendly host, easy accessible.
This little hut was like a super cute dollhouse! It had everything I needed in it, and it was immaculate. The location was beautifully quiet. There was a useful shop a short distance away, and pubs (although I didn't visit the pubs). I would happily stay here again when visiting family in the area.
I found the bed a bit firm, but realise that these things are very much a matter of personal preference.
It was spotless and comfortable with everything you need. The host was lovely and the place is bigger than it looks. Truly recommend. Load of activities to do nearby.
We loved everything about Shepperd's Hut. It was spotless, so cosy (so well insulated), great location & so chilled. Dromahair is a fab little village & everything you need for a trip away. Leitrim is a beautiful county to explore 😍 Oonagh was so friendly & informative, giving us lots of information on places to go & see.
There was nothing we didn't like .... we will be back again for sure!
Such a lovely experience. We really like our stay there - the only thing is only the shower that the water doesn't last too hot for more than 10' but other than that, all super! Thanks a million to the host as she was so lovely! I would recommend 100%
I enjoyed our stay. Very clean place with a lovely host. Would definitely recommend it. Thank you Kinga
It’s larger than it looks, bed is very comfortable and it’s immaculate inside
It was incredibly nice and cozy.
Stayed here for the second time last weekend. Couldn’t praise it enough.
Very nice and comfy hut, friendly host, good bed, clean, sustainable features, very quiet surroundings
This was a beautiful hidden gem of a hut. It was absolutely perfect for our two night stay. I loved the bright colours, big windows and overall style of the hut. It was so cosy and warm and had everything we needed. Oonagh was fantastic and checked in with us every step of the way. 💚
Oonagh greeted us and was super helpful. You can really tell she is passionate about the area and recommended lots of things for us to do. Thank you!
Fabulous, peaceful, self-contained tiny house, with everything you could possibly need, all thoughtfully organized and nicely decorated. With a 20 month old, we also appreciated it being close to the shops and a playground
Super clean and tastefully decorated interiors! Lovely cabin type experience..Comfortable and easy parking at the door. Hosts were attentive .. highly recommend for anyone seeking peace and quiet. Supermarket, bar within walking distance..restaurants a drive away..
My partner and I had a wonderful stay here. It is a very cute hut in quiet area with a hiking trail leaving right from the town. Very convenient to other parts of Leitrim and Sligo by car. We were able to cook breakfast on the hob which was a great touch.
Very cosy, clean and well equipped cabin. Cooking facilities worked well. Great base for exploring the Sligo county.
Nothing
Really loved my stay at Market Street Shepherd's Hut. Not only is it located in a quiet residential area within walking distance to grocery stores and food outlets, but it is also spot on in the middle of a lot of nice historic sites (especially megalithic). The hut is equipped with everything one needs for a few nights stay. The kitchen even has a small stove top. The bathroom is a nice size and I didn't have any issues with the hot water supply (said this, it was just me and I have very short hair - so I do understand that I could get a bit more complicated with more than one person and/or long hair). Overall, it was an absolutely lovely experience and I hope to return in the future with more time to explore the area in more depth.
Just one minor thing that I feel could improve the experience (especially when staying longer than just two or three nights): It would be nice to have a pull down rack/contreption or something with a few hangers so that one can air clothes overnight. I used one of the chairs which worked out but wasn't ideal (I was lucky with the weather, but especially when getting caught in the infamous Irish rain, it would have been troublesome to leave the wet clothes somewhere without causing damage to the wooden furniture).
just minor things the cut wet grass all got tracked onto the floor - better outdoor hard surfaces would help the bathroom basin was blocked but managed to unblock with jugs of hot water the bed is so high some people would struggle to get up onto it pods are generally cramped so no surprise there
Really nice acommodation with everything you need for your stay from hairdryer, microwave, toaster to stove top. It is very clean and I like that they are doing their bit for the environment by segregating waste and using eco cleaning products👏 I really enjoyed listening to the rain tapping on the roof. Would definitely go back and recommend it to others
Bed is a bit high cause of the pull out bed underneath, but it was a very comfy bed. It would be great if you could charge your phone or plug in laptop near the bed. An extension cord would be a plus
Oonagh is a good and helpful host. I would return.
I liked the experience. It is nice to get a break from the outside world, no TV or radio.
Great location, a short walk to the centre of the village. Host was extremely helpful. The accommodation was immaculately kept.
The hot water tank is small so you can't dwell too long in the shower. This is a very minor thing, I was advised in advance and it didn't detract from a great stay. All in all the place is great!
A cute tiny house in the country that was walking distance to the pub. The property had a micro-kitchen that was nice for basic cooking. Everything was fresh and very clean. parking was super easy. If there in the warmer months you were able to take advantage of the outside seating. The land lord was a super nice accommodating women,
We were told by the owner you only had three minuets of hot water to shower then you had to let it warm up again. We were there only for two nights so we did not shower because we took our shower at the seaweed baths. Cannot confirm exactly how the hot water situation worked. It frosted at night so we need to turn on the portable heater, it took a long time to heat up and it was difficult to regulate. The condensation was really bad on the windows in the morning, if you left anything on the ledge close to the window it may get wet. The door to the property was really challenging to open and lock. We thought it was locked when we left for the night and had to call the landlord to get in because we were not able to pull the door open. We thought we were not working the code lock properly when in fact the door was that tight of a fit that you had to really use a lot of strength to open it. Once we figured that out it worked fine. if you have strength issues it may be a problem.
The hut is very cute and well equiped. Oonagh is lovely and very attentive. She made us feel like home and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great, not far from the main street. Parking available in front of the hut. Dromahair and surroundings are beautiful. The hut is well located and handy when visiting different spots in Leitrim/Sligo area. My mother and myself enjoyed the experience and appreciated the gifts left for Xmas. Thank you so much, we had a great time!
Nothing.
The cabin was very clean, there were clean towels, blankets and all we needed to stay, including a portable heater which was enough to warm the cabin.
The shower only warmed for 3 minutes, so we had to have cold baths on really cold days.
Such a beautiful place to stay. My little one called it her Barbie hut, she just loved it. Oonagh was very friendly when we meet. We were early and she didn't hesitate to come straight away with the keys. Everything we needed was supplied and nothing was a bother to them. If we needed anything extra all we had to do was ask.
Phone coverage wasn't great and was unable to connect to mobile data all the time. In saying that it was nice to disconnect with the outside world for a fee days.
Loved the Shepherds Hut, Oonagh has thought of everything! Fresh and clean, ate outside for breakfast. Perfect location, lots to do nearby. Loved our stay! Susan & Liam
Great location to explore not only lovely Leitrim but Sligo also
