Reviewed Sep 5, 2026⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely wonderful stay in Coimbatore! This beautiful homestay is just about 3 km from Isha Foundation, making it a perfect choice for anyone visiting the centre. The hospitality was truly exceptional. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had that lovely homely feel. Our host was incredibly sweet and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. And the food deserves a special mention! Everything was delicious, and the breakfast was simply amazing. It was the perfect way to start our mornings. If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, and welcoming place to stay near Isha Foundation, I would highly recommend this homestay. A truly memorable experience! ❤️

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Suresh was available to attend to every need and help us with the room, stay, getting around etc. we also requested breakfast in the morning and despite the booking being without breakfast, Suresh was happy to provide an excellent, delicious breakfast. They also prepared a special breakfast for my toddler. Very happy with the overall experience!

Foods available only on pre arranged, on payment basis.the caretaker Mr. Sureshbabu helped us in our stay given necessary guidance and Direction. Altogether a very pleasant stay in lakshmi illam.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025This is a great place to stay near the Isha Yoga Center. The rooms are clean and the decor is nice too. They also have a dedicated Sadhana Hall upstairs where you can do your Sadhana whenever you want and lighting an oil lamp is allowed too! The host is really helpful, warm and welcoming. He also kept my laptop, charger and mobile phones at his place (Free of cost!) for ~3 days when I stayed inside at the Ashram for a program. Recommend this place anytime!

He also helped us to arrange a car for our airport transfers as well as from Hotel to Isha Yoga Centre. The property is just 2.5 KM from the famous Isha Yoga Centre.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2025Excellent hosts and booking process was a breeze. Very clean rooms. Very courteous and attentive host. Manager followed up constantly to ensure we had a smooth move in. Had excellent kitchen with all utensils and fridge (Which we did not have a chance to use unfortunately). My daghter loved the place and specially the swing which is the highlight. The property is located with a view of the Velliangiri hills ... a sight to see. Just a small note .. if you are planning on attendng Isha events, there are restritions for people staying outside (Car Parking, No Cellphones or Footwear allowed inside). On the contrary Car Pass, E-Pass are offered for people who have booked cottages inside Isha and are allowed to use Cellphones and footwear. For everything else, this is a fantastic place ... no second thougts.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2025I'm still not able to get over of this trip and this stay made the trip more beautiful...It's soo peaceful staying there..the rooms are soo nice, it's having the mountain view from the bed itself..the staffs are soo good. And the cook, she cook soo well. Being a foodie, food matters to me a lot. She is aswome. I loved the food, the location of the stay, rooms are decorated so simply but soo eye soothing. Whenever I'll visit Isha I'm gonna stay there.

Has in-house cook, otherwise must travel for food. Has wifi but no tv. Very quiet and peaceful place, ideal for rest and relaxation. Highly recommended.
Need to travel for food. Extra charges for ordering food via zomato. No other food apps delivers. Can’t get uber sometimes.

Reviewed May 5, 2025Property is located in green fields with quiet and comfortable ambience. It is well equipped with all basic needs and very spacious. Mr Suresh (caretaker) coordinated well and took care of our requirements.
We reached in the afternoon when it was little hot and asked for AC remote wherein we were told that it would lead to extra charges as booking is for non AC room which is incorrect as property description clearly mentions AC included in the provided facilities.. We paid extra 600 rs however, we didn't use the AC due to frequent power cuts.
