Paco's Garden Home Stay

Everything great!. AC had an issue but was fixed straight away. Location is quiet but only 3 minutes from north coast circumference road and 5 minutes from Mambajao. Staff are very helpful. They have laundry service which was excellent. The villa comes with everything you would need including a well fitted out kitchen area. Scooter hire was amazing, brand new scooter 10km on the clock only, also 160cc 4 stroke so good for the hilly terrain but still economical.

It didn’t bother me but the final road can be a bit bumpy if you approach from one end. It’s ok, just approach from a different road which adds 1 minute only to your journey.

No tenían comidas

Lo primero destacar la amabilidad del personal, estuvieron atentos a cualquier necesidad, pero la verdad es que ibamos con la idea de encontrarnos otra cosa. Fueron los comentarios los que nos hicieron convencernos pero la verdad es que poco de todo eso hemos encontrado. Las casitas estan genial, pero no tienen el cuidado que merecen.

La casita estaba bastante equipada pero todo el material de cocina estaba roñado y daba cosa utilizar. Habia millones de hormigas por todas partes, teniendo que dejar todo bien cerrado pra que no entraran en nuestras cosas. En el baño hubo varias deposiciones de dudosa procedencia. No habia red y habia que hacer malabares para conseguir algo de wifi. Habia un edificio de cafetería pero no ofrecian absolutamente ningún servicio; teniendo en cuenta que el lugar esta bastante apartado y que podia ser complicado a veces conseguir comida dependiendo de la hora y del transporte que tuvieras. El sitio tiene muchisimo potencial pero esta dejado y no hace que estes comodo.

Cleanliness and also the room is too big. You can cook there also. And a big fridge.

There is this noise at the roof at night, like scratching animals or something. It bothers us every night. But when you are tired, you will just sleep it off.

The kitchen was complete - no need to look for a far away restaurant! They also have motorcycle for rent, super affordable so need to book on your own. They have a big home space, complete with a garden view - lots of time to relax and enjoy fresh air. This does not have the beachfront, and we like it that way for peace and quiet relaxation. They have chilled beer and icecream for sale too!

Personnel disponible quand nous avons besoin d'aide et de conseil mais sait rester discret. Eau chaude et pression de la douche ok. La cuisine dans le bungalow est un vrai plus. Le lieu est très joli dans un beau jardin. Location de scooter flambant neuf. On se sent comme à la maison

주인이 친절하시고 주변에 대한 안내를 잘 해 주심. 차로 10분정도 거리에 있는 화이트섬을 다녀왔는데 무료로 태워주고 약속된 시간에 정확히 데리려 오심. 숙소가 쾌적하며 주변 경치가 운치가 있음. 가까이 산책로가 잘 정리 되어 있음. 아르덴트 온천은 걸어서 다녀올 정도로 가까이 있음.

주변에 야채나 과일을 살 수 있는 가게가 없으니 숙소 도착 전 구매하여 오는 것이 적절함.

El personal es maravilloso, pendiente de todo lo que te hace falta y siempre disponible. El alojamiento es muy completo, cómodo y limpio. Baño con agua caliente. Cama cómoda.

Beautiful cottages in a garden. Everything was clean and functional, with a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. It is nicely located, a bit outside the main road so it's quiet but close to everything. We rented motorbikes that were brand new to go around.We had a lovely stay and the owner was very nice, even picking us up and dropping us at the airport. Would highly recommend.

Cadre agréable, maisonnettes assez espacées les unes des autres, jardin propre. Climatisation fonctionnelle et silencieuse, ce qui est rare aux Philippines.

A notre arrivée, l’hôte avait oubliée notre réservation, donc nous nous sommes retrouvés dans la grande chambre familiale au lieu de celle réservée (chambre double vue sur jardin). À l’intérieur c’était l’arche de noé : fourmis, cafards, geckos et souris dans le plafond (elles ont bougé toute les nuits). Salle de bain minuscule, pas de pression à la douche. Et comme partout aux Philippines, à partir de 4h du matin, c’est brouhaha entre les coqs, les chiens et les gecko.

Very peaceful place and it’s near the airport

The location- pwedi kang mag relapse sa subrang tahimik haha tho it’s a little bit far from the city but if you want a perfect place to relax and feel the province life in the island I think Pacos Homestay is a perfect place to stay. The Room - pwedi kang magluto if bet mo magluto iba pa din paglutong bahay diba. Char! naubusan lang talaga budget pambili ng cooked ulam 😂 They have a kitchenware so you can cook anytime you want. The owner/Manager - Hospitable and a good entertainer and also approachable.

J’ai eu l’occasion de dormir dans 2 logements differents, et le wifi ne marchait dans aucune des chambres.

El estudio está muy bien equipado y la cama es cómoda. Ducha separada del baño que lo mantiene seco. Ofrecen servicio de alquiler de moto.

L’únic ‘però’ és que hi ha diversos cans que lladren molt i fan renou.

The location is amazing, accommodation is set in a peaceful and spacious plot. Jay was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. It was convenient to rent bikes here. Close to Hibok-Hibok which was great for when we went hiking.

Only negative for us was the quantity of stray dogs around who can be very loud as they tend to hang out outside the huts.

- Great place with nice nature around - very nice people running the homestay - they’re renting scooters (very important to explore the island) - picked us up at the multi cab station and drove us to the airport at the end of the stay / this was really nice no one did that for us before - close from the ardent hot spring and some more places like beautiful waterfalls - the terrasse of the cabanon is nice

- the bed is really not confortable that’s definitely not a + :( - the room is a little bit dark and when it’s raining a lot you feel the sky is falling on you literally, with heavy rains the sound is so loud that it’s getting annoying - a little bit in the side of the volcano so it can be very foggy up there However Pacos homestay is a lovely place full of great energy and it’s in our opinion a great option to stay in Camiguin.

Perfect escape in a perfect island

Shower in the big cottage was large and comfortable. We had 2 ventilators and a new A/C which was pleasantly quiet. The staff were amazing! Helped us with every request we made.

The tap in the toilet sink was smelly and the water came out of it didn’t smell good.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in Philippines. Offers laundry service, scooter rental, free transfer to the airport and back. Ac/fan/kettle/rice cooker/hot shower. Kind staff. Thank you.

the location is quiet, very homey, relaxing, and close to nature. Lando, the staff, is very friendly, accommodating, helpful and always ready to give assistance. he even cooked a nice chicken dish for us. the villa is equipped with kitchen utensils, plates, spoons & forks, gas stove & electric kettle. the property has a mini bar, so we enjoyed our nights in the safety of the property. overall, our stay was great!

it’s a little bit far from the main road, if you don’t have a car, it’s quite an exercise going to the main thoroughfare. we rented a car, so it was not a problem for us. the only problem was the landscaping did not include a driveway, so we just drove around the plants and trees to park in fromt of our villa.

Safety and security from outside animals. Stray dogs came and ruined my sandals. I left the place barefoot ☹️☹️.

Our stay in Camiguin was made exceptional by the wonderful accommodation we found. The space itself was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. Thank you for the extra bed it was big for one person. But what truly set this place apart was Lando's incredible hospitality. He's a genuinely down-to-earth person who went above and beyond to help us, even assisting with our luggage and providing transportation to our destination. We were looking for bukos and he gave us. Lando, along with Paco, also gave us a fantastic tour of the island, sharing their knowledge and making the experience both informative and enjoyable. We learned so much about Camiguin's history and culture thanks to them. Lando, you deserve all the praise – thank you for your time and effort!

We did find that while the ceiling fan was helpful, an additional stand fan would have been preferable. We much prefer electric fans to air conditioning, and a supplemental fan would have ensured optimal comfort. Also, we did experience some noise from a neighbor's karaoke, which was quite loud at times. However, these are minor points and overall, we would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Camiguin. It's a gem!

Loved that it's in a quiet area of the capital town though not too far from the airport, the Gaisano mall, and other tourist attractions in Camiguin (even those tourist spots outside Mambajao). The neighbors are friendly, and they happen to be the caretakers of the villas too. They did our laundry for a minimal fee. The owners of the villa are accommodating, considerate, and nice they let us rent there small car.

We were placed in a bigger room than what we originally booked but the air conditioner was not working well, so we're thankful for the electric fan that was provided. There's no TV due to some issues (damaged by the previous renter), and rice cooker was not readily available so I had to chat the caretaker to lend us a rice cooker since we're Filipinos and loves to eat rice every meal.

Everything was great. No issues.

The bungalow was spacious and quiet. Paco's is a short ride out of town in a tranquil neighborhood. The room was very large with everything we needed in order to cook. We were also given a large water cooler upon check in. The shower got quite hot and the bathroom was fairly large. The staff were very friendly and always available to help. They were able to get our laundry done in a reasonable amount of time. A motorbike was available to us at check in, which was great to pop into town for dinner after the long ferry. Paco even picked us up from the ferry and told us about some good spots around the island to visit.

The air conditioner is not particularly powerful and due to the time of year, it could get quite hot. We had some gecko visitors in the room from time to time. The distance from town might be prohibitive without the use of a motorbike - not a problem for us, but could be for others. As others mentioned, the road out front was unpaved, but it was being paved while we were there, so hopefully it's smoothed out soon! It shouldn't be a problem if you're reasonably competent riding a motorbike.

Best place in whole Camiguin, friendly team and amazing Pacos who is always smiling and positive. Location is another great benefit to stay at Pacos.

Nice and quiet place. Perfect if you want to refresh your mind. You have free drinking water and you can also cook. utensils is also provided. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Some parts of the road is rocky and muddy when nearing the place. Network signal is abysmal and the wifi can only be connected when you are outside the cottage. Hopefully they can fix that.

The owners are very friendly. They're so accomodating. It feels like you are on your own home. The place is so serene. A good place to relax. A good value for your money.

bed was a bit hard, got used to eventually. also final 25meters of the road was not cemented, sometimes challenging with the motor.

We were warmly welcomed by hosts, they even turned on a power generator for us to have a light and charge devices (must be line break due to weather conditions). Bike for rent is also available for good price. Room was very clean and with all utencils and facilities. Paco also advised us a new road with spectacular views which is not shown on google maps. There a lot of restaurants around like 5 minuts on bike. Great trip and very interesting island.

The first impressions were skeptical because we arrived after heavy rain, road was wet and a bit dirty at the last 100 meters, electricity disappeared and after all even mobile connection were pretty average. But we hoped for the best and finally we liked it.

Excellent accommodations in Camiguin, even if a bit far from the center and unpaved roads lead to the property. But the friendly owner and the generally relaxed vibes of the place were fantastic. Lovely, the owner, was quite accommodating and helped us buy our dinners since the restaurants were a bit of a distance from the hotel. Perfect for people just looking to enjoy some peace and quiet.
