Location is not the best as its congested outside hotel

The room looked modern and was very clean. The stuff in the restaurant were very nice. The dinner had a relatively big variety.

Even if I had informed the hotel that I would be arriving early in the morning (my reservation included the previous day) and had gotten an acknowledgment that they have noted this down, immediately after landing, I got a message denoting that my reservation had been cancelled. This stressed me quite a lot and forced me to send a message via the booking.com app and call the reception while waiting for the luggage. The person who picked up the phone didn’t explain why I got this message but informed me that the booking is still valid. I arrived at the hotel and checked in without anyone mentioning anything about a cancellation. Few hours later I got a reply through the app acknowledging that my booking had been cancelled (I had already checked in at the time so just ignored it.. In my opinion this is highly unprofessional). After our second night, I noticed that my body was full bites (next to each other and highly itchy) which could only be explained by bed bugs. I contacted the reception and with a huge surprise I got asked if I would like someone to come into my room and “clean”. I got seriously annoyed by the fact that I had to ask for a new room myself before being given one. On top of this not a single apology was given throughout the process (not something important but still very weird for this level of a hotel). The new room (next to the previous one) was completely fine and had no bed bugs.

​Isolated "Island" Location: The hotel functions like an isolated island. The immediate surrounding area looks like a war zone, leaving you essentially stranded. You can not easily walk anywhere, so be prepared to organize your own transportation—hotel-arranged options are exorbitantly overpriced. ​Dietary Misrepresentation & Hygiene: Staff and management repeatedly misrepresented non-vegan food as vegan on multiple occasions, rushing me through guidance and causing me to eat non-vegan food. The buffet lacks clear labeling, and we found foreign hair in our food on multiple occasions. ​Deceptive Promises & Front Desk Friction: Management made verbal commitments and then backtracked. They offered a free airport transfer, only to claim later they meant they would just arrange it. After offering a complimentary meal, they made me wait at checkout like a suspect while making multiple calls to verify it. ​Predatory Pricing: Transport to Agra was quoted at a predatory 17,000 INR, compared to Uber at 4,000 INR. We ended up taking another option for 7,000 INR just to avoid their rate. Staff acted hostile when challenged. ​Ignored emails & and manager. Backtracking: Executive management completely ignored my lengthy email seeking resolution until I accidentally ran into a manager in person. Even then, there was total miscommunication between managers, conflicting stores and continuous backtracking to try to trick and avoid resolving the issue. ​Service Bottlenecks: Getting basic room requests taken care of was a constant struggle; on one occasion, I had to call four separate times just to receive room service and ice.

Un personnel qui pourrait être plus avenant. Des cousins qui mériteraient d'être plus haut de gamme pour un 5 étoiles. Rapport qualité prix.

Rude staff

The hotel itself was decent, but the service was disappointing. The reception staff were rude and sarcastic, and I felt there was preferential treatment towards guests who were not of Indian origin. I requested an early check-in, which I was willing to pay for, but the first staff member rejected it without even checking my booking details. Shortly after, another counter offered the same arrangement to a different guest. The security guards were the only staff who deserve praise. Luggage delivery to our room took over 30 minutes, and despite calling twice in advance at checkout, no one came to assist with our bags. I eventually had to bring everything down myself, while other guests with fewer bags were assisted. Overall, not value for money. I have had much better experiences at other hotels.

La piscina

Le camere con un sistema del bagno orribile, sembrava di essere in un bungalow in campeggio. Il lavandino piccolissimo, le porte scorrevoli scomode e ben lontano da garantire una minima privacy. Le camere non sono isolate, anche al decimo piano si sentiva musica proveniente da fuori. All’arrivo il mini bar era vuoto, ma c’era un listino prezzi. Non c’era la biancheria sufficiente per due persone: un solo accappatoio, un paio di pantofole. Poi dopo le nostre lamentele hanno risolto. Al bar hanno dei tempi giurassici e non c’è nessuno che rimanga lì per i clienti. È un continuo va e vieni di persone e per avere quello che hai chiesto devi chiederlo 3 o 4 volte. Il personale dell’hausekeeping è molto gentile.

Room was alright.

For a 4-5 star hotel, the service was very slow. During breakfast, the servers do not speak when you ask them something and keep mute. The reception staff wasn't great too.

De kamer was erg comfortabel.

Een driesterrenhotel vermomd als vijfsterrenhotel. De kamer is erg comfortabel en het gebouw is statig, maar ze vragen westerse prijzen voor matige gerechten en drankjes, hierdoor is de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding niet goed. Het personeel blijft om je heen hangen en staren je aan, waardoor je nooit echt op je gemak bent, ondanks dit hebben we meerdere keren 40+ minuten moeten wachten op onze drankjes. Wij voelde ons erg onveilig in de stad en door de ligging van het hotel durfden wij niet zonder gids naar buiten. Het hotel faciliteert weinig dingen op voorhand, waardoor je ook niet weet waar je wel/niet voor moet betalen. Ook wordt er over je eindrekening een belasting van 20% geheven, wat ook nergens vermeld wordt.

I think that the drinks are over the top. $9.50 for a coffee or a hot chocolate and it was very average in taste. You don't even pay that price in a western country.I was told that I would get 30 percent off dinner as I have a booked room. But that didn't happen. Staff asking to rate them on Google, they even have a QR code to do it. I think the managers should realize that it's a load ......

Beautiful room and interior, very nice gym, felt very safe

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel, especially entrance and restaurant staff. The facilities were very good also and breakfast was very tasty with a good selection and live stations. The bed was comfortable and easily fit a couple with small child. The extra bed was ok and not as comfortable.

The location was not so great if you want to explore by walking as the surrounding area was shabby, dirty and didn't feel safe to walk around. Otherwise, it was ok to get an Uber to wherever you want to go and location is fairly central to Connaught Palace and nearby attractions.

Horrible location. Limited cabs, chaotic traffic right outside the hotel - not recommended unless you have work in this area.

Good hotel location, comfortable beds and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. It was no issue to prepare packed breakfast for our very early flight.

The staff was friendly. The rooftop restaurant / pool / gym / bar were all very nice. The staff in the restaurant / breakfast cafe were very helpful. They attended to our needs right away.

The location - you cant really walk outside the property. But I think thats how everything is in Delhi.

Very clean, modern and spacious rooms. Nice rooftop pool and the restaurant at the rooftop had excellent food. Service was great and everyone was so polite and kind. Comfortable beds and linen.

1) For a hotel that claims to be five-star, the toilet design feels more like a school project gone wrong. The toilet roll holder is installed ridiculously low - barely a foot above the floor, making it extremely awkward to reach. Even when seated on the WC, one has to bend down uncomfortably just to access the roll. Men stand, and some women may not fully sit when doing “small business.” In all cases, the placement makes it inconvenient and impractical for everyone. This is a basic ergonomic flaw that affects every guest, regardless of how the toilet is used. It is hard to understand how such an impractical design passed approval in a hotel of this standard. 2) Next, the swimming pool closes at 7pm at a time where most guests wish to relax in the pool past 7pm after a day’s out. Just ensure your life guard work overtime, if safety is your concern. Not at guest expense of denying them 3) The shower knobs don’t even have indication for hot and cold. We need to turn on for 2 minutes and let it run to test whether hot or cold. What so difficult to fix an indication. I don't understand why you get so high rating. Do most of your hotel guests not experienced travellers that can see passed the abv deficiencies? For above reason, you don’t deserved more than one star.
