Der günstige Preis sowie die überaus freundlichen Mitarbeiter waren sehr positiv.

Das Zimmer war dem günstigen Preis entsprechend; das Bad war nicht mehr im besten Zustand. Wenn wir schon am Vorabend sämtliche Angaben zu unserem Frühstück - inkl. Frühstückszeit machen müssen, dann wäre es super, wenn auch das Frühstück dementsprechend vorbereitet worden wäre. Gut zu Wissen: Es gibt kein alkoholisches Getränk im gesamten Hotel - auch kein Bier im Restaurant.

La chambre était spacieuse et très propre. A 2 pas du centre ville. Restaurant au Roof top sympathique avec belle terrasse. Après 2 mois au Sri Lanka nous avons apprécié leurs pizzas 😊. Personnel charmant.

Hôtel très mal insonorisé donc assez bruyant. Nous étions, en plus, au 3eme étage juste en dessous du restaurant. Musique très forte jusqu'à 22h30.

Location was great just 15 min walk to bus station but on a quiet street..Hotel was super clean and comfortable. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, in particular Anton ( reception) and Casir ( house keeping) who both were so helpful in helping me arrange a day trip and also my onward travel. The food at the hotel was excellent with a large varied menu.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The staff could not do enough for you. They were absolutely wonderful and their attentiveness to you was quite something. We ate at the hotel and the portions were very generous and the quality excellent. It was a bit restrictive for vegetarians and there was a lack of sri Lankan dishes which was strange. Breakfast was lovely.

Sadly the walls and doors are very thin so when a group of people decided to have a loud conversation with much banging till 12:30 am it was not appreciated especially when one tried our door handle of our room.

Clean room provided with tea, coffee, kettle and a TV. Amazing views to the mountain. Shower with good pressure and bathroom provided with amenities. Bed was very comfortable. Buffet breakfast with many choices, I also had dinner there in the rooftop terrace and I was positively surprised by the good quality! Convenient urban location. The triple room was spacious and included a balcony. The room was clean and well maintained, with no unpleasant odors. Overall, a comfortable stay.

There is not too much near the location but the view is good and the bird song in the morning is lovely.

There was quite some noise (probably because of the preparations for an event) during the evening and early morning, which interfered a bit with our sleep

One of the better hotels in Badulla. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel also has one of the better restaurants in town, which makes room service a really convenient option. For the price, it offers great value, and I’d happily stay here again.

Small odour from bathroom initially, but once you turned the water on it went away.

We booked our stay for one night but extended our stay for another night. Our 2nd night was in a more spacious room and we were very comfortable and happy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was tasty and presented very well. The hotel is clean and the mountain view was something scenic to view. My sister and I highly recommend this hotel to our friends abroad. In the future l plan to bring my son's family for a holiday to this hotel.

We spend 2 days here in Badulla and the team of the Crown regency is very friendly, professional and helpfull.They picked us from the Railwaystation and were every time very attentive. For example our waiter recognize that I can't eat to spicy so he payed attention that every dinner is less spicy. The rooms are very nice furnished ,clean and air conditioned. Everything was good..but we can't rate about the food because we didn't have meals from the hotel. The take a way breakfast could be improved further.

Only a 5/10 minutes drive away from the train station. The hotel is quite nice and the room comfortable and clean. The staff is very helpful. Food is quite good.

The “breakfast package” was quite basic and not tasty (French fries and a cheese and lettuce toast). We arranged the tuktuk to reach the train station through the hotel and we almost missed the train because they were too late.

Bardzo długo czeka się na jedzenie, kilka razy prosiliśmy o napoje herbatę dostaliśmy po 40 minutach, jedzenie letnie, śniadanie jajka i kiełbaski zimne. Pomylone zamówienia, dostaliśmy zamiast Sri Lanka breakfast, angielskie śniadanie. Podsumowując, Nie korzystajcie z restauracji.

The ambience & the direction towards the beautiful mountain.

I was very impressed. The staff gave excellent service. It was like an oasis of calm after lots of travelling around Sri Lanka. The room was spacious with good view. Very clean comfortable. Restaurant had atmospheric outdoor dining. Lots of choices.

I’ve been traveling in Sri Lanka for three weeks, and Crown Regency is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. It’s not far from the bus station, with a market and supermarket nearby. The best part is you don’t need to worry about finding a restaurant—the rooftop restaurant’s food is incredibly delicious, and the breakfast is hearty. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is great, and locals often dine there too. I even met some friendly locals at the restaurant who took me around Badulla. The hotel is in a quiet alley with stunning mountain views, beautiful in both rain and shine. The price is very affordable, yet the service feels like a five-star hotel. Vinishya, in particular, went out of her way to show me a wedding venue hosted at the hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable—I’d say cleaner than many four-star hotels. The air conditioning and fans work perfectly, and the hot water in the bathroom is reliable. The Wi-Fi is a bit unstable, but I managed fine with my phone’s network. I originally planned to stay one night but ended up staying three. Thank you, Crown Regency, for providing such high-quality accommodation for travelers. This is my honest review.

It was very clean and the service was excellent especially the rooftop restaurant. There was lots of space in the room and the beds were very comforting. Great value for money.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days with my adult children. We particularly appreciated the efficiency and kindness of the hotel staff. We would especially like to thank Travis, Naveen, and Vinishya; their advice and assistance allowed us to fully enjoy our stay at the Crown Regency and also allowed us to visit the many places of interest around Badulla.

A lovely boutique hotel with a warm welcome for guests. Clean, efficient and reasonably priced.Helpful staff at the reception and restaurant. Our lovely room had a great view . The hotel is popular with locals for parties and events. I wish I could have stayed here for a little longer.

Not a big deal for me but the place is not licensed to serve Alcohol . I was told that alcohol had to be brought from outside. Perhaps the hotel can clarify the position

We've been in Sri Lanka for 2 weeks and we've seen different hotels. This one was not only one of the cleanest, but also had the most professional staff. From the moment we arrived, Travis had greeted us like special guests. When we asked questions, needed a tuk tuk or a very early breakfast, he was helpful. The hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable, food was good. We had a problem with the smell in the bathroom - when we mentioned that, Travis immediately apologised and showed us 3 other rooms to choose from, none of them had the smell, so it was a one time situation. Really one of the best hotel experiences we had on Sri Lanka, and definitely the best value for price ratio.

The area around the hotel (the street, not the hotel terrain) has a lot of trash, it contrasts badly with the stylish look of the hotel. Not sure if it's in the power of the hotel to clean it, but it would definitely improve rhe experience

The staff were exceptionally friendly and extended genuine hospitality throughout my stay, making me feel very welcome.
