Good location I guess…

It’s actually a 2 in 1 room (which was not advertised) and you can hear EVERYTHING that happens in the other room, do not book if this bothers you, I just want my refund back… we ended up leaving after 2 days because the other people were ruining our sleep… also cockroaches and dirty walls

The unit itself was acceptable, but unfortunately the terrible access arrangement and the host’s attitude completely ruined our experience.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience, especially when travelling with children. We were given only ONE set of keys/access cards. If I took the key with me when going out, the air-conditioning in the unit would turn off, leaving my children inside without air-conditioning. If I left the access card with them, I could not properly access the lift when I returned. I explained this very clearly to the host and asked for a simple, reasonable solution — either provide another access card/key or find another way to solve the problem. Instead of helping, the host basically told me “you should manage.” Seriously? I am a paying guest travelling with my family. Why should it be the guest’s responsibility to “manage” a problem caused by the property’s own access arrangement? Their suggestion was that when I returned, I should ask my family to come down and scan the lift for me. This is absolutely ridiculous and extremely inconvenient, especially when I may return late and my children are already inside the unit. What makes me even more disappointed is that this restriction was not clearly explained before booking. If your booking only comes with one access set that creates this kind of problem, it should be clearly stated BEFORE guests pay, not after they arrive. I could have accepted an inconvenience if the host had genuinely tried to help. What I cannot accept is the dismissive attitude of telling a guest to “manage” instead of providing a proper solution. Very poor customer service and a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this property to families unless they clearly improve their access arrangement and the way they treat guests when problems arise.

La relación calidad-precio fue óptima y nuestras peticiones básicas fueron atendidas rápida y correctamente.

Lugar apartado de la Geortown urbana y pintoresca, apenas hay autoservicios alrededor. La torre alberga muchísimos huéspedes y en muchas ocasiones los 4 ascensores que recorren las 40 plantas son insuficientes. Gimnasio escaso de recursos.

Life in the suburbs rather than the CBD. 35th floor had exceptional views. Living area on the 11th floor was great.

Couldn't get a pass for the pedestrian gate linking to Jalan Jetulong.

Irresponsible from the Owner, Guest faced the difficulties of unlock the padlock, i called the owner no answered, Unhelpful, i am paying full amount, but irresponsible to the Confirmed of Paid Customer, feels Helpness, Seem likes i Should to Provide my services back to the Urban Suites JSW owner, insted of the owner Should Provided the Necessary Help to the Paid Customer, again i whatsapp the owner in Mandarin, and JSW request me to speak English, don't expect anyone can speak english, While customer need your helps to unlock the padlock to take the Room Unit key. The Urban Suite so call facilities are some how misleading or unfriendly to the customers, sauna service needs to prebooking n not open normally even on weekends, so weird, peoples go for vacation during weekend but they closed it up for own management reasons, n not for the favourable of Guests...the Urban Suites facilities are very limited.. Gym closed at early too.. Too many house rules, but no considerable to the outstation guests hospitality.. Unit of the suites are complex, comfused, inconvenience to the Guests.. Like in the standard jail.. too rigidity.. too many rules from the JSW Urban SUITE too... Not even provided an inside room slipper to the guests too, Eco shop cost rm2. 60 perpair... We go vacation for easy n relaxation instead of the owners to request me to do things for them.. Feels so heavy.. Dissatisfied dissapointed... Next time Must Check Properly, to booked for Hotel or homestay. The JSW Urban suite is not allowed me to check out at 12pm,Even i request it nicely, politely..sincerely . Still refused.. the guest request.. Thank you.

Host was incredibly helpful, clear instructions for a very easy self check in/ self check out..great room with an amazing view, comfortable bed, fridge, showers gel/shampoo, toothbrushes provided (all really helpful additions) all very clean facilities (lovely pool and gym). Location was perfect for us (transport is recommended). Vending machines around the facility were also great (coffee, fresh orange juice etc)..would definitely stay again. Thank you!

The location is very strategic with the place that I want to visit

Next time make sure l must get a unit with the living room. Every time when l come l need a proper place to meet my client. My client heard l stay in Urban Suite they dont want to come because of long waiting lift. Penang people is funny. Waiting for lift too long also don't like. At the end meet all my clients at Hotel Bekerley Cafe and some in Mcdonald. Next time can only come to stay with my church friends.

No kitchen so no water dispenser so is troublesome to boil water.

Very clean, comfortable, staff very friendly and polite. The only thing air con not so cool maybe because the weather room was 🥵. After I complained action was taken very fast and the staff came to check I really appreciate it but can't blame them also.

Nice apartment with an incredible view. The pool and the pool area on the 11th flor in the building is very nice. Good and clear instructions upon arrival for the self check in.

The long waiting for the elevators is terrible. It does not affect the the experience of the apartment. The location for this apartment is not a problem if you have your own vehicle. But we didn't really have a problem catching a Grab.

One of the worst place i have stayed.. The pillows are horrible. I got cheated with one of the reviews which said that this place has the best pillow....it is actually the worst.

Reken op standaard 15-20 minuten voordat de lift komt. Onze kamer was superklein (anders dan op de foto), matrassen van slechte kwaliteit, de ventilator kon alleen op de hoogste stand (stand zware storm) omdat er geen afstandsbediening was. De dunne dekentjes, ze noemen het fluffy blankets, waren niet warm genoeg om te slapen. Erg gehorig (tv en praten van de buren) kon je letterlijk verstaan. Kortom: dit verblijf is het geld totaal niet waard!!!

Bigger than expected space for triple room, aand there are 2 rooms with 2 beds (1 queen, 1 single bed)

Lift in building is very poor and waiting time is too long (at least 15 mins-1 hour). We had to take lift in opposite direction to get into it otherwise it’s full or the lift skips the floor. Keys couldn’t be separated for my parents to sleep/rest at home with aircond while I go out to run errands. Only fan can be used without key card.

Comfortable and Clean Environment. It's our regular homestay whenever we come back to Penang. The staff are helpful and friendly. Our thanks to Dan who helped us to rectify the Netflix technical issues quickly.

So disappointed with room facilities especially bathroom condition, check in quit late due to long drive. Epoxy flooring sticky and sink got leaking. reported but never say sorry or give an option

Location was right

Room was very small, unstable table and chair, entrance shared with triple room. waiting for the lift took more than half an hour, terrible.

There was only a thin blanket on the bed. I would have preferred a sheet and a blanket. There was only half a toilet roll. There were no instructions on how to use the TV and the batteries were flat so couldn’t use any way.

I had an overall unpleasant stay. The journey to my room was particularly challenging, taking me over an hour to navigate the escalator. I felt my time was completely wasted. The footwear provided was used and unclean, and instead of a proper comforter, I received a large towel, which I was told was a blanket. The bathroom door was broken, and the amenities provided appeared unprofessional and cheap. The air conditioning wasn't cool enough. One concerning incident involved the janitor, who, with the owner's permission, attempted to enter the room while guests were changing clothes. When I raised this issue with the owner, she dismissively responded, “What’s your problem? They are just doing their service, respect them.” It’s hard to understand how she and her staff thought it was acceptable to disrespect my privacy in the first place. Additionally, the owner was unhelpful. When I inquired about the amenities, she instead compared my mindset to that of other customers rather than providing a clear explanation. She also lacked basic manners, sharing personal conversations from other guests with me, which I found rude. Dear Booking.com, please take note of the owner's inappropriate behavior. I am considering filing a formal complaint regarding their terrible service.
