The Dutch Corner house

I was a good location.

The place was amazing, it made our stay so comfortable and relaxed. The area where it's located was beautiful, calm, tranquil and quiet not to mention the sound of chirping birds waking you up in the morning. You are basically in your own world. The view was awesome, morning and night, overlooking Saldanha Bay. I loved my stay at The Dutch Corner and would go back there anytime, it was worth every penny.

Everything... beautiful place, awesome view. Super comfortable. Feels like home...

Nothing... everything was great. Maybe just a better/bigger shower head in future. But thats just preference on our end.

We had a very short stay, it was an overnight. Didn't spend that much time at the property we just had to sleep and shower in the morning. It was comfortable, neat and clean. Host was helpful and friendly.

There is only one shower to share with 5 people. But we managed as we were family.

Lovely location with beautiful views. Nice braai and bar area. Great outside games.

The fact that a connecting door inside the house leads to another flatlet that is attached to the house. It doesn’t feel private. The extra bunk beds in the master bedroom was not made up and it was dusty. Please add fresh milk and not powder milk.

Location. Close to Wes Coast Nationalpark.

Mark was an exceptional host, the check in was flawless and in less than 5minutes😉

A big and spacious property. Lots of amenities and everything you could need for your stay. Owner was friendly and helpful. Was our second stay here, would return again.

The views was amazing and the size of house was great for a family

A bit dusty over the indoor plants, and the fireplace smelled strong right into the house, even though it was clean think the chimney needs a clean out

The view is just beautiful. I can literally see the sunset from the backyard

Location was great, with views towards the lagoon, a beautiful garden, and open space with small animals.

Spectacular view was a bonus spotless house, everything in its place entertainment area with bar was a bonus

The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The outside fire pit was great and had an awesome view. Mark and Elrie were gracious and helpful hosts, and we highly recommend them.

Visitors need to know that the bathroom is accessible only through a bedroom, which may be awkward for some groups, particularly if it needs to be used during the night.

The fact that there is only one bathroom/toilet that we have to walk through in another room to use the toilet or shower 🚿

Cleanliness and bed was very comfortable. I liked that they had cutlery available, bar fridge etc. Overall place was appeasing. I liked that didnt have to meet owners very private.

People in the main house was loud from early evening till late, description of property said sound proof but clearly wasnt. Entrance had gravel stones/road which was difficult to drive onto into allocated parking bay. Some air freshener would also be appreciated for guests sensitive to certain smells.

Exceptional service. Willingly helped without even being asked. Paid attention to our needs even before we were aware of them.

It was equipped with everything that we needed. The host is very friendly and made us feel so welcome. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

House has a 1 bedroom apartment attached to it with an interleading door that is closed off so noise travels very easily. Would be good to know before booking

Beautiful spacious home: Good parking. Comfortable beds. Great views and sunset. Well equipped with glasses, crockery, fridge, washing machine, dish-washer, etc. Very helpful and informed hosts

Depending on number of guests staying, only one toilet in the bathroom off the main bedroom could be challenging if not close family/friends. But great facilities for a family

The location is perfect with views overlooking the lagoon. It's a quiet piece of heaven on earth and gives your a good idea of the terrain and culture along the West Coast. All needs were covered for a stay in the area.
