Reviewed Dec 7, 2025A lovely comfy stay. We had a beautiful little braai and enjoyed a relaxing sleep in. The bed and shower was a treat. The room was clean and so cute with all its tortoise decor. We will definitely be visiting again, and can't wait to play with snoopy. ( the owners sweet puppy who came to visit a bit!!)

Reviewed Nov 14, 2025We loved staying at the Tortoise Retreat! The host is really friendly and has the sweetest Beagle Snoopy, which came by to say hi a lot and was one of our highlights staying here. It‘s really close to the Langebaan West Coast National Park Gate!

Reviewed Mar 7, 2025I loved the covered parking, my own little patio with a fountain and the beautiful fully stocked room. Bed was comfortable, bathroom fairly new. Chris, as a host, was friendly and waiting for me on my arrival.
I would have liked the DSTV channels, as I don't understand Netflix and others. But I was only there one night, and didn't even turn the TV on, so it's a very small point.
