Reviewed Nov 1, 2025Very clean, and a fabulous social area, lots of lovely books to read too, kitchen was great and again very clean
The boxes you sleep in were very hot! I was the only person there so luckily could sleep with the curtain open, the lock at the bottom of the stairs was very fiddly to open/lock

Reviewed Oct 21, 2025The location is great near the jetty of one of the tour orgs that offer tours to sky mirror. The facilities were nice and clean The kitchen area and the dorm room are spacious Lots of books to read
The lock at the entrance door is annoying. An electric lock would be a lot easier No reception at the hostel. Communication needs to go over WhatsApp

Reviewed Jun 15, 2025Very lovely done with the beds in between the book racks. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Super nice and helpful staff, free drinking water and coffee/tea.
All was great:). The only thing I can imagine is that maybe if all beds are occupied that one toilet is maybe not enough

Reviewed Sep 26, 2024INCREDIBLE ! It's more than hostel, it's like a HOME. If you want to have nice experience of sleeping you should definitely choose this place. This place is made by heart, each detail was designed perfectly. You have there chilling place where you can read the books. The owner is very nice and helpful. There is a kitchen, dinning room, toilet. Everything is clean and it's a pleasure to stay there.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2024Loved the decor, very cosy. Staff were welcoming and really helpful, providing advice on where to eat and how to book firefly tours.
Shower pressure and temperature could have been better. I only stayed one night but there was karaoke going on in a building below which was extremely loud. The hostel did provide earplugs though.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2024This is a very unique hostel with a very cool library aesthetic. It feels homely and well designed with a lot of character. The bathrooms were clean and my bed was comfy, which comes with a plug and light. It was quiet and I was the only guest at the hostel. My host was great, answering queries quickly regarding early bag drop off, and helping me with booking firefly tours. There are many good seafood restaurants nearby, and a market which opens in the evening. Thanks again, I would not hesitate to book again if I stayed in Kuala Selangor!
