Original farm was renovated as a quaint property welcoming guests in various unique rooms. Our suite was very well designed with the original stone surround and timeless appointments. The staff was welcoming and attentive to your every need.

Warm ontvangst in een prachtige locatie met heerlijk eten en uiteraard wijn. Mooie wandeling op het domein.

Tout était parfait, bel accueil, belle chambre, bonne dégustation, bon vin, bonne nourriture. Bel endroit pour décrocher de la routine.

The owner is so accommodating and knowledgeable. Our trip wouldn’t have been as good without them. The wine tasting and dinner is a must!!!

La location

Die Weinprobe und das Menü waren eine ganz besondere Erfahrung. Dafür haben wir den weiten Weg dorthin gemacht. Auch Spaziergänge durch den Weinberg waren atemberaubend. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse war so schön. Das hat richtig gut getan.

Die Einfahrt durch das enge Tor. Es gibt einen kleinen Umweg, der wesentlich besser zu fahren ist. Die Erklärungen bei der Weinprobe waren teils schwer verständlich, meinen Wissensbedarf zu den Douro Weinen und zum Port musste noch durch Nachlesen stillen.

No apartamento o moinho não é possível descansar e dormir. Ouvem-se os passos no apartamento superior, as madeiras a ranger. Acresce que os hospedes tinham um cao e quando saíram para o pequeno, o cão ladrou incessantemente. Em suma, apartamento não recomendável para quem pretende descansar.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Quinta da Estrada. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. We had great meals and the wine was fantastic. We will most certainly book another stay here. Thank you!

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Weinberge. Ruhige Lage. Essen & Wein waren sehr gut, besonders die vegetarische Variante des Abendessens.

De bedden in onze kamer waren minder fijn. Er zat een flinke kuil in het 2 persoonsbed.

The location was great

We had a studio that didn’t have enough air circulation. Not enough windows in the bedroom. The bed was not comfortable. The upper units looked much nicer but had people with children. We would hear people walk upstairs. The winery was nice with good food . We were just not lucky to have a good room.

La literie. Le lit grinçait à chacune de nos changements de position. Une horreur. De plus, la chambre appelée "el mohíno" est située en dessous d'une autre chambre dont le parquet d'une époque révolue à perturber notre nuit quand les occupants se sont levés la nuit. Sachant l'inconfort que cela produit, je trouve dommageable que la direction loue cette chambre inconfortable pour ces multiples raisons

A área da piscina com vista para as videiras é maravilhosa. Ficar ali só sentado contemplando o pôr do sol enquanto toma um Porto Tônico é realmente fantástico.

Do T2 não ter ar condicionado e estava mesmo muito quente esses dias.

Beautiful old place with modern facilities throughout. Well run with friendly and capable staff. Fantastic food and pool setting.

Small point but no clear easy area to park motorcycles on arrival. Difficult to negotiate steep cobbled ramp to access back garden area with big motorcycles but once inside lots of space.

Supermysigt och familjärt. Trevlig personal, fint rum med utsikt över vingården och bergen, fint litet poolområde och god frukost. Vi tog middag med vinprovning som var jättebra. Fantastiska vyer på vägen upp och ned från gården.

Breakfast overlooking the vineyard was stunning. Great choice of items.

Een zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse onthaalde ons met een welkomstdrankje en informatie over de omgeving. Ze wilde ons volledig informeren over leuke uitstapjes. De wijngaard met zwembad was ruim en volledig toegankelijk. We kregen later nog een gratis drankje omdat we meerdere dagen hier verbleven. Het diner was goed.

De suite was aan de donkere kant, er waren enkele kleinere ramen. Hierdoor was het er wel koel. Er was geen uitzicht. De badkamer rook muf.

Sehr netter Empfang und sehr netter Winzer. Die Weinverkostung zum Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Die Winzerei ist ein sehr sehr schöner Ort um sich wohl zu fühlen und zu entspannen. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken.

Leuke quinta waar je wijn en port kunt proeven en kunt eten. Zwembad met ligbedden en gratis badlakens. Wij zaten in de loft, compleet appartement voor vier personen waar we met z’n tweeën sliepen. Bedden lagen prima en alles is goed verzorgd. De eigenaar vertelde tijdens het wijn-/portproeven veel over het productieproces. Aanrader!

De douche had niet veel druk dat is het enige minpunt

Een echte quinta ervaring. Proeven van hun wijn/port, overnachten op de quinta en een uitleg van de wijnbouwer over de wijnstreek. Bij wandelen tussen de druivenstruiken zie je pas hoe immens het is.

In de loft was een iets te krappe badkamer.

2 nachten in deze prachtige Quinta. Een warm welkom geeft je meteen een gevoel van thuiskomen. Prachtige kamer met uitzicht. Klein zwembad, maar heerlijk om even af te koelen. We hebben een diner met wijnproeverij gehad. Mooi verhaal over de quinta en de wijnen, lekker eten. Ben je op zoek naar een mooie, intieme quinta dan is dit absoluut een aanrader

I enjoyed the breakfast and coffee. I enjoyed walking between the vines. There are various fruit trees. The host encouraged me to try the cherries that were in season. I am happy to report they were delicious! The scenery is so beautiful. Even after a rain and lightning storm.

I cannot think of anything I did not like.

Das Zimmer war sehr gross. Das Weingut hat uns gefallen und schön. Die Weindegustation und das Essen waren super fein.

Das Bett ist sehr kurz für grosse Leute. Das Bad ist sehr klein.

Family business, nice and kind people

I hace chosen room that was cellar and couldn't get upgraded room. The view was such that you only see other people shoes while passing by. Next time I would only book room with balcony.

The property is hidden a hidden gem. The room was more than a standaard hotel room and had a kitchenette, little balcony and a small couch! The pool and lounge chairs were amazing after a steep hill bike ride. BUT most outstanding was the wine and port tasting by one of the owners Luigi! And to top things off, we received out breakfast pre-made to store in the fridge the night before because we had to leave early!

We liked it all!!

Right in middle of nature, very calm and peaceful. The lady was so nice and helpful. She made us bread when we were hungry and had written down all the details for our trip. She gave some nice recommendations. The vineyard was nice. The stay was beautiful. Everyone were so helpful. Had a very good time.

Dinner was over rated I felt with wine tasting costed around 65. Swimming was very small

Our stay at the Quinta was really enjoyable. We had booked a dinner with wine tasting, which fulfilled our expectations. Food was good and the wine tasting was very enjoyable since the host convincingly explained his business and various stories about wine making and port.

Nothing really. Funnily, they couldn't sell us a bottle of their port as it was not registered for sale.

Dans cette belle et ancienne bâtisse, la porte d'entrée de notre chambre était bien basse pour accueillir mon petit deux mètres ...

We had a fantastic time and everything was lovely. The wine tasting and information was excellent and the red at 15% volume should be treated with caution😀. The staff were absolutely wonderful and a credit to the owners. Dinner was excellent and please ask for more wine if you are empty. Only a few tables so you can get to know the other quests. Only one small problem, the lighting in the night knocked out all the power. The kitchen and dining area I think had a back up supply. It’s 5* from us and we will certainly go back

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is so lovely. They were able to accommodate everything and the wine tasting dinner was unforgettable. This is really a special place!

Balcony needs a bit of extra comfort. The lights on the balcony stay on all night and keep waking you up.

Beautiful vineyards and farm setting I. The countryside of Regua. Lots of flowers and fruit trees accent the property. The staff was very friendly. The owner did the wine tasting and taught us a lot about port .

Booked it as a surprise for my dad’s 70th birthday, who is a wine lover. We had a lovely time there and were amazed by every detail. Would definitely come back and stay more days. The staff were welcoming and attentive to us. They accommodated my mom’s food restrictions right away and prepared her delicious meals. The dinner with wine tasting is a must, delicious food and wine, everything local, fresh and natural. Even the tap water is drinkable. The lemon and cherry trees were abundant with delicious fruits.

Eine echte Farm und kein anonymes Hotel. Sehr freundliche und sympathische Eigentümer/MitarbeiterInnen. Das gebuchte Abendessen mit Weinverkostung hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen, es war alles sehr lecker!

Das Zimmer war nicht besonders gemütlich oder nett eingerichtet. Aber wir verbrachten dort ja auch nicht viel Zeit.

Een heel mooi plekje tussen de wijngaarden. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk. Je mag ook rustig rondlopen over het hele terrein. Er is ook een klein zwembadje, maar daar was het nog te koud voor. De kamer was een beetje basic, maar het terrasje was wel een plus. 's Avonds diner met wijnproverij. Genoten van alle info en verhalen van Luis, de wijnmaker. En ook de wijn, port en het eten smaakten goed.

Loved the tranquility and our suite was perfect. So comfortable and felt right at home. Host was amazing, she made us feel so welcome. Dinner and wine tasting experience was great, and breakfast fabulous. We would definitely recommend this property for a someone wishing to escape from the hustle and bustle. Views amazing and so nice to be able to walk around the vineyard….and sample the cherries!🍒

Magnifique domaine. Nous avons adoré son côté paisible et la possibilité de se balader dans les vignes en partant de la Quinta. La chambre etait rustique, pleine de charme et confortable Le personnel est adorable et très attentionné.

The Quina is quite remote (but easy to find) . We came in by one road and out by another, spectacular scenery with lots of trees in blossom. A warm welcome , lovely views from our private terrace , good breakfast and excellent dinner in the restaurant
