Really stylish and comfy rooms. Small but not as tight as they look in the pictures. Especially loved the soft and pretty throws. The rooms are just upstairs from the restaurant and once or twice I missed having dedicated staff for the rooms, you just have to interrupt the restaurant staff, but they were really nice. Would have been nice to have more toiletries, or a bath, considering the price of the room. But the breakfast and especially dinner food was great, the tea/coffee facility in the hallway was good too. A very well-done collection of businesses in beautiful Roundwood, feels down-to-earth yet modern and elevated ☺️ Luxurious place to explore Wicklow Mountains from.

Quaint hotel with comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant and a lovely continental breakfast in the attached cafe. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Only minor issue was that there was no air conditioning in the rooms, but we understood we were staying in an historic hotel and was expected.

Vanaf zes uur is er buiten veel rumoer veroorzaakt door een personeelslid die elke ochtend containers aan het verrijden is en andere luidruchtige handelingen. Ontbijt wordt vrij laat geserveerd ,(Rond 0900 uur)

Prachtig hotel met een mooi restaurant. Kamer is niet heel groot, maar zeer mooi en heel schoon. Zeer veel aandacht voor details.

Het ontbijt heb je in de ruimte ernaast. Dit is een combi van winkel en eetgelegenheid. Zeer mooi en met prachtige producten. Je bestelt wat je wilt. Dus geen buffet. Ik bestelde een toast met avocado. Echter deze portie was zo groot. Had liever kleine gerechten geproefd. Maar was wel een unieke manier van ontbijten in een hotel.

The room was cozy with comfortable beds. The bathroom was nicely updated. The common areas are all very nice.

Nach einem langen Wandertag kann man sich freuen, im Coach House einzukehren. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und es ist ingesamt gemütlich. Wir haben sehr gut in den Betten geschlafen, es war alles ruhig. Eins der absoluten Highlights war das Frühstück in der zugehörigen artisanalen Bäckerei mit frischen Sauerteig Brot und hervorragendem Kaffee! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und konnten gestärkt in den nächsten Wandertag einsteigen.

The Coach House is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. The staff are exceptionally friendly and genuinely go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and happy. Their warmth, hard work, and great attitudes create a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The food is excellent — both the dinners and the included breakfast are consistently delicious. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the beds are comfortable, and the whole property has a wonderful sense of charm and character. A truly delightful stay.

The breakfast was very nice, though very busy.

On our Wicklow Way we stayed here. It was the most expensive accommodation of the trail and also the one with the least personal touch. The restaurant was overpriced for what they were serving: good food, but overpriced. Staff made two mistakes in the order, something you would not expect for that price. The room had a rather noisy airvent next it from the kitchen. No space to leave the suitcase in the room, too tight to move around.

I really like this is an old coaching house and is refurbished however they kept the essence of the antique coaching. The staff was great, amazing, lovely, breakfast incredible, dinner marvellous. We loved the pork chop and all

There was niet WiFi in our room.

Wirklich sehr schöne,liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und das Personal ist super nett. Frühstück war hervorragend. Auch zum Abendessen waren wir dort. Ein wirkliches Highlight.

Tenien un parking pels clients i mai hi havia lloc. Els espais del pub i les sales dels diferents espais eren molt agradables però sempre estaven parades per menjar. Prioritzen el restaurant a l'hotel

Quirky hotel. Rooms small but very comfy and lovely decoration. Excellent shower! Very quiet. Breakfast in the next door bakery was excellent and delicious. We went to pizza night in the bakery on Wednesday which was fun and good. Good base for exploring the Wicklow Mountains. Bar is more of a restaurant and closes early but several other pubs in the village.

The room was pretty but very small. The kitchen's exhaust pipe passed right next to the room's window, making it impossible to open it because of the noise and the smell. Too expensive for the average quality of the room.

The atmosphere in the entire building is really nice. Good tea and coffee facilities for guests.

The rooms are very noisy, earplugs for sleeping is recommended. Wifi didn't work during our stay.

This was our first night in Ireland and the hotel was quaint and historic which we really enjoyed. We had a delightful waitress for dinner with a really strong accent which was fun. The food was delicious and breakfast exceptional

This accommodation is very overpriced The food in the restaurant is very average and very little available for vegetarians. Breakfast was very poor and the whole place smells of damp and dog. The bar closes at 7.30!

Lovely hotel and fabulous food, the bakery attached is superb!

Breakfast was legendary. Huge portions and beautifully cooked and prepared food. The evening meal was also outstanding. I’ve never had such a lovely steak without a big surcharge. My mouth is watering as I’m thinking about this 5 days later.

The lounge area for guests is a nice idea. But, it’s a little worn and tired. Not so easy to get together with my pals for a chat.

Magnifique hôtel cosy et charmant. Accueil extrêmement sympatique et professionnel. Les chambres sont très joliment décorées et on s'y sent tout de suite bien. Le petit-déjeuner est incroyable et nous ne sommes pas prêts de l'oublier. Nous reviendrons y passer un séjour, c'est certain!

Slightly disappointed with the room - nowhere to sit except the bed if you didn't want to go downstairs, and a somewhat threadbare carpet! Beautiful bathroom, though!

It's a fantastic place to stay. Cozy. Clean. Harmonious. Everything, including the rooms and the bathroom... Tea and coffee were available anytime. We didn't use the restaurant in the evening. However, breakfast was phenomenal. Brilliant. I've rarely experienced anything like it. I especially want to thank the lady with the dreadlocks who worked as a server. Unfortunately, I do not know her name. She absolutely deserves a promotion and the Employee of the Year award. She truly understands what service means. She noticed how exhausted we were when we arrived on Saturday at lunchtime - she provided us with drinks. She arranged for us to get into our room earlier and ultimately showed us to it. She was attentive, kind, warm, and funny. Thank you so, so much! It was by far the best accommodation we had on our Wicklow Way hike. I will never forget this stay. I left a piece of my heart in this place.

The dining (dinner and breakfast) was exquisite. We were savouring and reminiscing about our meals a day later. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great hot shower after a long day of hiking, and a comfortable night’s sleep.

The whole place is beautifully decorated,the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the food is impeccable; overall the hotel, restaurant and outside spaces are wonderful and a cut above anything else for miles around!

We had a truly wonderful experience staying in The Coach House. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming. The rooms were cosy and comfortable perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The food was absolutely fantastic, with every meal beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Dinner by the fire was a real highlight and made the whole stay feel extra special and memorable. The staff were amazing throughout our visit friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, making us feel so well looked after. We left feeling relaxed, well fed, and already looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommend The Coach House for a cosy, high-quality getaway!

Room needed some smaller lights, for the bathroom there was only one light with a fan and in the bedroom the bedside light was as bright as the room light.
