C'était très sale, le lit est cassé, un gars m'a surpris devant ma porte en sortant de la chambre, il me disait qu'il est venu réparer le lit, mais en fait il l'a fait sortir de la chambre vers 20h30, imaginez je suis resté debout pendant presque une heure le temps de démonter le lit. Je suis dormi sur un matelas posé par terre. Le chauffage, le réfrigérateur et la cuisinière ne fonctionne pas tous. Une deuxième fois, qlqn a ouvert la porte, j'étais entrain de prier, il a dit "sorry", une fois je suis sorti je n'ai trouvé personne. Je suis resté cloué, frustré car je me suis senti en insécurité. C'était une nuit terrible.

There were not enough instructions to find the hotel, and when I tried to contact the host, I received no response until the last minute. I constantly had to ask other people for help. Even the residents of the building were complaining about the same issue. When I finally managed to contact the host, they told me where the key was, but I could not find it. I spent around half an hour waiting while they tried to figure out where the key was, and eventually they directed me to a different room. The room itself was clean, but the bed was broken. I reported the issue, but I never received a response. As a result, I had a very uncomfortable night’s sleep on a broken bed. There was also no toilet paper in the toilets, and the bathroom was not sufficiently clean.

Allereerst liep de communicatie heel moeizaam. We kregen pas de code en instructies een half uur na dat we mochten inchecken. Wanneer we daar voor contact probeerde opnemen kwam er geen antwoord. Daarnaast rook ons beddengoed alsof het niet gewassen was en was er maar voor 1 persoon gedekt hoewel we hadden aangegeven dat we met 2 waren. Daarnaast was de overtrek ook vol met plekken. De badkamer was onhygiënisch en had schimmel. De 2de dag dat wij daar waren was er ook geen wc-papier. Als laatste was er tussen onze kamer en een andere kamer alleen een deur aanwezig, je hoorde dus alles van de andere kamer.

The location is OK and the neighborhood is also good.

The owner is never there and if you have any problems there's no one who can help you. I came 5 minutes after 22 hrs and the building's door was close and I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to open it.

Wanneer je deur achter je dicht valt als je even naar het toilet op de gang gaat en je herinnert je de code van de deurknop niet meer en je mobiel ligt binnen heb je een groot probleem, ik schreef hem gelukkig onmiddelijk op mijn arm met ballpoint. Het appartement is onvindbaar zonder contact via mobiele telefoon, nergens bordjes.

Seifenspender im Badezimmer war leer.

I love the whole vibe of the place, beautiful decor full of paintings and artwork tastefully placed around the apartment gives it a luxurious, museum-like feel. The vintage lift was also beautiful and real a life saver, provided much relief and respite to these tired knees after a whole day of walking around. Location of the apartment is also good, close by to the main tram routes, so it was easy to get around. There’s also a 24-hours vending outlet nearby in case you need any food or drinks when all the stores are already closed, a situation I found myself in and thankful to a very friendly passer-by who guided me to it.

Lacks a bit of the human touch. Everything was just communicated via What’s App. There was no one who greets you and showed you around the place to orientate you on where things are and what are the common areas or items that can be shared. I didn’t even know where the toilets and bathroom were when I first checked in, or where the fridge was, could I put any food that I bought inside it, or make my own tea or coffee in the morning….had to figure these out for myself. I am not sure if this is typical of Austrian/German brand of hospitality, being aloof and a little distant. The room is one of the smallest I have been in, so far in my travels, but it was decent and comfortable.

The interior is unique

Vu le prix, je dois dire que c’était très correct ! La décoration est simple et agréable. Il faut s’attendre à un confort minimum, mais qui fait très bien l’affaire. C’est calme et discret. L’aménagement pourrait être amélioré, mais comme j’étais tout le temps à l’extérieur, cela ne m’a pas dérangée. Je conseille de prévoir quelques petites affaires avec vous (serviette, gel douche, shampoing, mouchoirs, etc.), car tout n’est pas forcément fourni. Idéal pour les courts séjours à petit prix. L’emplacement est un vrai atout !

The location was perfect, very central and convenient for exploring the city. Communication with the host was easy and uncomplicated and he always responded promptly to my messages. The check-in information was clear and easy to follow. The apartment itself was lovely, with a beautiful classic Altbau Vienna style that gave it a lot of charm. Заселение. Хозяева прислали руководство как найти и заселиться, которое не работало. В описании отеля написано заселение с 14.00, в личном чате написали, что заселение с 15.00.. До 15.00 владелец не отвечал на сообщения ни на booking.com ни в WhatsApp. В итоге адрес оказался немного другим, хотя и на той же улице. И мне пришлось бродить по улицам в поисках отеля, пока владелец не ответил в WhatsApp

The staff were very nice and friendly, and the owner was very flexible and willing to help with any extra needs. However, it was a bit difficult to reach him on WhatsApp at first, as the check-in instructions shared on Booking.com were broken. Once I managed to contact him via WhatsApp, everything went smoothly. He even replied to me at midnight when I had a problem with the front door keys

The toilet light kept turning off every minute because it uses a motion sensor. I had to keep waving my hand to make the light turn back on, which was quite inconvenient

Kommunikation mit dem Host war super, das Zimmer mit den großen spiegeln war super groß und hell... ein TV wäre noch super zur Ergänzung aber ansich für den Preis und die Lage ein Super Zimmer!

Das Bett könnte erneuert werden, es war etwas instabil und Latten hängen seitlich heraus.. ein Boxspringbett wäre ideal!

Everything! The amazing tasteful comfortable and roomy accomodation and appartement. Obviously refurbised and decorated by architects/ designers.with beautiful materials and artefacts. Even a scale for suitcases was availableAnd great shower! The perfect location, the character of the building, the great transport routes and shops of all kind nearby. The helpfulness and responsiveness of the guest. And the kindest and most helpful housekeeper! And cleaning daily :-)

A chase after toilet paper that other guests kept taking for themselves instead of sharing. The housekeeper figured out what was happening. And provided a "personal" rolls to help with the situation. None of the many clocks are working, but we are on holidays anyway, right:-) Guests not always very tidy or cleaning after themselves( cutlery, self, etc)

Utrudniony kontakt z właścicielem na booking jest napisane, że pobyt zaczyna się od 14:00, we wiadomości właściciel pisze, że od 15:00, kody dostępu wysłane po 15:00, więc musieliśmy czekać i to nie krótko. Po wejściu do pokoju okazało się, że nie jest posprzątany, udało się rozwiązać sprawę ale musieliśmy czekać na sprzątnięcie pokoju, nowe pościele i ręczniki. Prysznic niezbyt czysty, widać włosy poprzednich użytkowników i stare fugi.

Die gute Lage und Zimmer war sauber.

Es war verwirrend ich habe nach Hausnummer 36-38 gesucht, wie ich geschrieben habe, dass ich jetzt dort bin, habe ich eine WhatsApp Nachricht mit Bildern bekommen wo ich erst gesehen habe, dass es Hausnummer 81 ist. Keiner war anwesend und alles mit Codes war ein bisschen verwirrend. Um 7.00 Uhr war dann Baustelle vorm Haus, aber bei geschlossenem Fenster hab ich weiter geschlafen.

Прекрасная локация, пешком до центра 15 минут, хорошая комната, несмотря на страшную жару в Вене, в комнате было довольно таки прохладно. До этого я начиталась отзывов, много людей жаловались, но у меня совершенно другой опыт. Я вовремя получила все инструкции, на вопросы к хозяину также получала быстрый ответы. В квартире чисто, в ванной комнате есть даже стиральная машина.

Все было прекрасно, но был всё-таки маленький нюанс – холодильник был отключён. Я понимаю желание хозяина, чтобы люди не пользовались кухней, но в этот период в Вене было так жарко, что мои лекарства просто кипели от жары. Ну и невыносимо было пить тёплую воду. Я ночевала в квартире пять ночей. Хотелось бы хотя бы минеральную воду поставить в холодильник, не говоря уже о лекарствах.

Location was good, good room space and it seemed clean enough. The biggest issue was that I booked my accommodation on the day at 10am and did not receive any check-in information until 9pm. This is frankly unacceptable, I was looking at booking alternative lodging for that evening. For this reason alone, I could not reasonable recommend anyone to stay here.

Die Lage ist gut und die Zimmer sehr geräumig. Die Kommunikation läuft reibungslos per WhatsApp und man erhält kurz nach der Buchung alle Instruktionen zum Zugang zur Unterkunft.

The location

It was very difficult to get clear information about the check in. There was no key for the building entrance door in our room, and it was difficult to reach the host. At the end it was solved, but it caused unnecessary stress. Our room and bathroom were dirty. The floor in our room was sticky, despite the host claiming he had checked the room and had not noticed any issue.

The accommodation was supposed to be ready from 2 pm according to the conditions and was only ready at 4 pm. On booking, a completely different room was ordered, the apartment. The kitchen and bathroom were not functional and needed maintenance. The other rooms were terrible, everything could be heard through the door, the other rooms were separated by a door. The bed was uncomfortable, a soft old spring mattress. At night, every time someone opened the door to the bathroom or their room, the floor creaked.

La situación está muy bien está cerca de las cosas del centro y es muy útil por si quieres ir andando a las visitas. Por otro lado, la habitación era grande y espaciosa, bastante sencilla.

El colchón de la cama no era cómodo, estaba hundido y las lamas de la cama se caían con solo sentarse, no había almohada sólo un cojín bastante fino así que tampoco era cómodo. La cama es el único mueble fundamental para un alojamiento así que hay que invertir en él .Había una cocina pero no se podía utilizar y la nevera no funcionaba. Las luces de las zonas comunes se encendían automáticamente al pasar lo que es bastante incómodo ya que para ir al baño, que es común, tienes que pasar por ellas y por la noche te deslumbran.

There are multiple rooms with a shared bathroom, kitchen, and shower. Your bedroom is your "private" space where you will find a lot of sockets, which was especially useful for me since I have two laptops and a mobile phone. Overall, for a solo trip, check-in and check-out were very simple with no unnecessary added steps. It is perfect given the price.

I cannot understand how there could be just one bathroom and 2 toilets for an 8 room apartment. As simple as toilet paper was lacking in the toilets, we spent 1 night here and for 8 whole rooms there was just 1 toilet paper kept per toilet which obviously finished in a few hours. The kitchen bin is hard to use and constantly smells of cigarette. The host does not respond, sent email so many times with no answer, literally got instruction on how to access the room as i was already in the apartment.

La habitación y el apartamento estaban bastante bien. La ubicación es muy cómoda también, podíamos ir andando tranquilamente al centro.

La incertidumbre de como hacer el check-in no era agradable. Mandé un mensaje y no respondieron. Hacia las 15:00 al llegar la hora de hacer el check-in me mandaron fotos con explicación. Además la casa esta renovada pero las paredes son muy finas y se oye todo de fuera (otros huéspedes llegando tarde, etc.)

Einziges echtes Problem war das Bett - Matratze ist Teil eines Matratzensystems - nur wurde kein Topper aufgelegt, was bedeutet man liegt unmittelbar auf dem Federkernteil und spürt jede einzelne Feder durch. Ließe sich sehr schnell und leicht beheben! Bett ist essenziell wichtig - kann den ganzen Tag versauen...

Bardzo łatwo trafić do środka. Przejście wszystkich drzwi na podstawie zdjęć bardzo łatwe. Miałem prawie cały hostel dla siebie.

contant met eigenaar was zeer matig. afgesproken met de eigenaar om om 14:00 in te checken, maar tegen de tijd dat we er waren was eigenaar onbereikbaar. adres/locatie was niet te vinden en leek niet te bestaan. bij het aangegeven adres zat een bloemenwinkel en daar omheen wees niks erop dat de accommodatie bestond. na een lange tijd te wachten en contact proberen op te nemen met eigenaar hebben we daarom besloten om weg te gaan en een andere accommodatie te boeken.

The room was comfortable, the bathroom was really clean (compared to what mentioned in previous comments), and the location is great!

Good location in a part of Vienna with many smaller more interesting cafes and shops compared to the more touristic very central area around Stephansplatz. At the same time, still quite close to a lot of sights and just a few minutes walk to the main shopping street of Mariahilfer Str. I stayed in low season so the apartment with the rooms was quiet, however it was nicely furnished and had some basic kitchen etc. facilities. The room itself was basic but quite comfortable.

There was some confusion about the address supplied during self check-in, this was eventually resolved but they could probably make it a little clearer - the listed address is "81 Gumpendorfer Straße 34-36", which is an odd format, but the street number is 81 and the "34-36" is on the door of the apartment.

El colchón, la cama y la almohada super incómodos, El sistema de la puerta pésimo, hay que estudiar para cerrarla, la habitación grande pero vacía, sin tv, con un perchero escaso. Hago hincapié en la cama, el colchón se hundía por la mitad y la espalda doblada toda la noche, no se como tiene esta puntuación en booking.

Bed is comfortable. It feels safe. Good decoration. Curtains are very opaque. The cleaning service does not enter the bedroom during the whole stay (I only stayed for a few days), which I like because it does not feel intrusive. 1 toilet for men, 1 toilet for women, 1 mix toilet. 1 towel is at your disposal.

!! This is a hostel with 8 bedrooms and a tiny kitchen. There is no reception and you will never meet the staff (other than the cleaning ladies) !! Owner only gave me check-in information through WhatsApp at around 14h30 the day of my check-in. I was worried I had gotten scammed when I did not get any response the days prior to the check-in. I was also not given the proper code to unlock the common door but thankfully I was able to guess it. A lot of dust below the bed. Only 1 bathroom, for 8 bedrooms. Bathroom has no curtain, so the area can get quite wet after a shower.

Sve je bilo lepo i čisto i uredno. Stan je stvarno prelep i veliki ,mislim da ima 8 soba unutra ali ima 3 wc i jedno kupatilo sa kadom.moja soba br.8 je st arno bila velika i prostrana,najmanje 20tak m2, posteljina cista ,mislim da svaki dan dolazi neko da sredjuje sobu ali ja to nisam zeleo.imao sam srece pa sam bio u tom trenutku sa normalnim cimerima u drugim sobama pa nije bilo ni buke nit problema.lokacija je dobra jer su na 10tak minuta 2 metro stanice zelena i narandzasta pa svuda moze da se krecete.odma ispred zgrade su marketi billa i spar. Ima i mala terasica u okviru stana gde se moze pusiti slobodno. U kuhinji nema serpi i opreme za kuvanje ,ima ketler ,rerna i sporet,tiganj ,tanjiri ,case ,pribor za rucavanje.

Jedina losa stvar je bila komunikacija sa vlasnikom, kada sam imao dodatna pitanja nije bilo odgovora ,i tek 2 sata pre ulaska u apartman sam dobio instrukcije za ulazak u apartman ,a znacilo bi mi mnogo ranije da vidim gde je stan kako bi se unapred organizovao sa prevozom ili da mogu da vidim dok jos i am internet svoj a ne roming. Bar 24h pre ili vece pre.

Pokój nr 8 ma bezpośredna lokalizację z łazienką. Podczas używania wody słyszysz jakby był obok wodospad.Mialam 2 pobodki o 4 nad ranem. Okropne.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Good and safe location, not far from center. Clean bathrooms. It's my second stay here and all times it's been quiet and safe.

Lack of communication from owner. You will get your room code later than 3pm. No replies to messe ges or calls. Also, fridge doesn't work and smells bad. Stove is not working as well so you can't cook there. No coffee.

Die Matratze war komplett durchgelegen. Im Bett fand ich ein fremdes Haar. Die Antwort-Zeit des Gastgebers war meist ein bis zwei Stunden lang, was vor allem blöd war als ich ohne Zugangs-Code fürs Zimmer am Bahnhof stand. Mein Zimmer war direkt neben Gemeinschaftsküche und Gemeinschaftbad- dadurch war es bis spät abends sehr laut. Der Kühlschrank in der Küche war ausgeschalten. Am Klo fehlte das Klopapier.

V kuchyni je lednice a sporák - nakoupili jsme si produkty na dobrou snídani. Pak jsme však zjistili, že sporák nefunguje a při otevření nefunkční lednice se nám udělalo špatně jak byla cítit

Séjour globalement correct, mais nous avons été très déçus par l’équipement. Il n’y avait aucune plaque de cuisson, ni four, ni micro-ondes, et cela n’était pas indiqué dans la description de l’appartement. Seulement réchauffer des plats était impossible, ce qui nous a vraiment compliqués le séjour. En revanche, pour des personnes qui comptent manger exclusivement à l’extérieur, ce point sera probablement moins gênant.
