This was the highlight during our trip around Ireland - just like last year. Everything is perfect :) Very welcoming hosts (they left some food and gave us new towles, even if we didn‘t ask them to). The location is just beautiful :)

Beautiful property with stunning views and very clean. Nice touches were the owner left some tea, coffee, milk, croissants etc which was really helpful… thank you 😅

Such a beautiful modern well designed wooden lodge with fantastic views. Only spent a night here while on motorcycle trip but would love to stay longer. Had some lovely visits from the friendly farm dogs.

Loved the area and how scenic it was. The property has a lovely view out to the ocean. Very friendly people and loved meeting the dogs!

The house book

Everything was 100/10 apart from than fan in the toilets. We arrived at the yellow warning so I believe that was the issue but I have litteraly no sleep because of that.

The house was lovely and very clean, modern ,comfortable and cosy...loved it...💖 there was everything you need... Lovely we sitting room... Short drive to the beautiful cliffs.. Definitely 💯 would recommend it...

On our arrival once I saw the house 🏡 I was a bit disappointed ☹️.. The view from the house was looking straight to the fence 😕... despite the view is beautiful if you are outside looking through the small kinda window in the fence....that wasn't mentioned on booking.... Lots of sheep around the house..but it didn't' bother us at all..

Die Unterkunft ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet und der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. 😊

Everything was just great! The accomodation has everything you need and is very cozy - you just feel like home. The hosts are very nice, they even had some little treats for us, when we arrived. The view is outstanding and the whole area offers much to discover.

Cabin was well stocked with all you would need. It maintained to a high standard with immaculate presentation. - The views are stunning.

quelle belle expérience que de séjourner dans ce lodge confortable à la vue exceptionnelle! Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable, avec des hôtes charmants et nous ne regrettons pas d'être restés plusieurs jours, cette côte du Donegal est magnifique.

Heerlijk om een eigen huisje te hebben waar je zelf kan bepalen of je uit eten gaat of niet. Alles was schoon en netjes. Het uitzicht was geweldig!! De host was vriendelijk.

Eigenlijk niks, misschien had een supermarkt dichterbij handig geweest.

Loved the area right on the coast, the cottage was samll but had everything we needed and a lot of thought has gone into making guests welcome. The views were amaxing!

This is a true piece of paradise! Located in a strategic position to explore the upper west coast and enjoy the power of the ocean. This location was super cleaned, had everything we needed and we LOVED the chimney! Thank you for this amazing location. We wish we could stay longer!

This was a perfect place to stay. Beautiful, comfortable and peaceful, with everything you need and in a stunning location. Lovely hosts who all made us feel very at home. My only advice to others is to stay longer, highly recommend. When can we move in?!

Such a cosy cabin! Perfect for any weather! Lovely touch of scones, butter jam, and milk! It is in the ideal location for exploring anywhere in the North West! And ofcourse the friendliest of old pups Bruno is a bonus!

A really cosy and quite luxurious cabin with stunning views and a beautiful sunset. We were only there for one night unfortunately but I would love to spend a couple of nights there. The views are amazing and it is so peaceful and quiet. The cabin is very cosy and there were scones and biscuits waiting for us on arrival which was lovely. The host popped in to say hello which was nice. We really enjoyed the stay.

This is a hidden gem in west Donegal. The lodge is a beautiful place to stay with views over the Atlantic and Tory Island. It sums up what peace and tranquillity means . The lodge is of the highest standard , so comfortable with everything you need . We were greeted by the host and on arrival there was wine , crisps , brown bread , butter and milk . This always makes day one of arrival easier ! Host was always available if we had any questions. I highly recommend the Ocean Lodge .

The Cabin was so comfortable and the view from it was amazing. Had the best night sleep I’ve had in years highly recommended.

Location was amazing. Unreal views of the coast. Local area had everything you need for short stay restaurant, pubs and shops. Lodge was up to a great standard.

Only issue was we only realised on arrival how close owner of the lodge House was to the Lodge. Ideal of privacy and isolation not what we first expected.

A very simple little cabin. Very new, very clean. Had just about everything. In a really good location if you like wild rural/coastal scenery.

Our only issues were that there was too much furniture. We would take some out especially from the bedroom. Also while the cooking facilities were great, we would have liked to have had a small microwave.

The property was perfect. It was warm, cosy, with a lot of amenities. It was spotless and the view was excellent. The hosts were attentive. The location is perfect-a few minutes drive from two well stocked shops. There are a number of beaches a short drive away.

That I had to leave it

The lodge is new, and inside it is very comfortable, with little treats to welcome tired travellers. The views and quietness add to the experience.

Beautiful location and setting, the cabin is finished to an extremely high standard with every convenience you would need. A few welcome treats was a lovely touch. Adrian is very helpful and prompt in replying to messages.

The Ocean lodge is set in a wonderful part of Donegal, with stunning coastal views. It was warm and cosy, nicely furnished, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. There was a lovely welcome basket of scones, jam and butter along with some complementary wine. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and when we mentioned we were unsure where to eat that evening, they recommended a lovely bar/restaurant and even booked it in their name for us. Thank you! We look forward to returning in the future.

The cabin was absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated to perfection. The location was perfect, peaceful with both ocean and mountain views. The cabin was easily found and accessible and had everything needed for a lovely night away. Perfect spot for beautitul walks and close enough to walk for dinner/drinks nearby. The cabin was fully equipped with new kitchen and all mod cons anyone could need. Couldn't recommend a stay highly enough. Will definitely be back and recommend anyone for a lovely weekend or trip away to visit!!

All quiet, very cozy, super comfortable and very clean. Great view on the Ocean, optimal kitchen equipment, washing machine available, and very friendly owners.

A lovely little cabin, very fresh and new. A comfortable seating area inside, it would be very cosy during the colder months. The bed was comfy and it's a very quiet area, so slept very well. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for cooking a meal for two. Lovely little outside sitting area, although weather prevented us from using it. The location puts you in a perfect spot for visiting the beaches and also Glenveagh National Park.

Absolutely loved staying here the cabin is spotless the location is great would highly recommend staying here

Lovely cabin, has everything you need

The location of this lodge is excellent, it is close to Gweedore and other neighbouring towns. Host was very friendly and even gave us a lift to the wedding we were attending. The host lives beside the lodge although we did not need to make contact it was good to have them there the views from the lodge are breathtaking, I would recommend and would certainly go back.

The Cabin is so beautiful and finished to a really high spec.. The views are outstanding.. Cant wait to get back for a cosy nite in.. Winter time would be equally as enjoyable... Teac Jack's pun and Restaurant just 2 mins drive x

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, warm and cosy. It had everything that was needed. It was great sitting out on the veranda looking at the beautiful scenery, and listening to the ocean, very quiet and peaceful. It is a great location for travelling to other places of interests and some of the lovely sandy beaches in Donegal, Mullaghduff, Carrickfinn and The Boat Strand. Thank you Meave for looking after us and all your little welcoming treats. Everything was perfect, we had such a lovely time.

Excellent location. The owners are extremely welcoming, helpful, and generous. Great facilities for self-catering: fully equipped kitchenette, including washing machine and small dishwasher.

Delighted that I found this little gem. Great location close to several different beaches and places to explore, with a fabulous view. A neat little lodge with all the essentials. Great kitchen facilities so was really perfect for us with a toddler. Really good communication from the owner and some perfect essentials available when we got there which was very thoughtful.

It is hard to fault Ocean Lodge for a couples retreat to this corner of Donegal. The view is spectacular; it is approximately 100 yards from the Bloody Foreland lookout point. The chalet is brand new and well furnished, fairly small but perfect for couples. The local family next door are very friendly, kind and as attentive as you need. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Chalet ,,very clean and tidy and warm. All facilities were there and even got complimentary bottle of prosecco and scones with jam. Comfortable double bed and very clean ,, great views and attentive host , everything as promised and more. Cooking facilities were first class and everything we needed was there. Friendly and warm hosts and I will definitely stay there again. Would highly recommend Ocean lodge..
