Reviewed Feb 17, 2025Lovely clean and modern little place. Sofa bed, table 2 chairs and kitchen. Comfy and cozy. Love that it had a long shoehorn for us to use each day.
Not recommended if you are staying here without a car. It is expensive to taxi/uber to Tromso, and buses are accessible but not regular - you really need to plan your journey and day. Not convenient without a car. Great location if you want to explore Kvaløya with a car however. Also more information about where exactly the entrance is - took us a few minutes at night to confirm exactly which door was ours.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2024This accommodation IS NOT A CABIN! It is a self contained wing/studio off the main property/house. It is accessed directly from the side entrance on the right hand side as you are looking at the front door. The main living space has a well equipped kitchen with oven, stove, fridge and freezer, coffee machine and dishwasher. Apart from coffee, fruit teas, salt and pepper, you will need to bring everything you want to eat and drink as nothing else is supplied. We misread the information, thinking it was a cabin, and had a main bedroom. However, the bed is a sofa bed in the small living area. The accommodation consists of, entry/mud room, kitchen and living area, bathroom. We arrived by public transport and being winter it was pitch dark at 5pm. While the bus stop is very close, the walk on the road is dangerous, especially when dragging suitcases, and I suggest putting your torch light on from your phone to walk along the road. The accommodation is very clean, warm and as per photos. It was very magical being here with the snow on the ground and witnessing it fall. We were even blessed to see a fantastic show of the Northern Lights.
It does not state anywhere in the information, the accommodation is only a self contained wing off the main house. Looking at the photos we did think we were paying for access to the whole building, and not just a self contained wing.
