Breakfast was great. You preorder the day before along with seating time. Room space is tight, but it is an old home. Bedside lamps were persnickety to turn on in the family suite back bedroom. One I could not turn (I didn't check to tbulb) on and the other had a socket/plug that had an internal short and would cut off/on. Location was wonderful if you arrive without a vehicle - within walking range of the university and Cathedral.

If you are driving, there are about 5 parking spots on the location and they are tight. Parking on the street is available after 5 but you have to pay until 6:30PM. Street parking turns to 2 hour paid parking beginning at 8:30AM. You are in a very busy area with the hospital nearby and the University just around the corner. Parking spaces are few and far between from 8:30-5.

The owners are wonderful people who were very helpful. The House is very clean and the breakfast was fabulous.

Whilst our bathroom was fully functional it was rather tiny but it was very clean.

We loved how close it was to downtown. We loved breakfast. Check in and check out were super easy. Room was immaculate

Great choice for breakfast, wonderful helpful host

The location was great, within a quick walk to all the attractions in Galway, but the area around the B&B was still quiet. Our host was very helpful, and the breakfast was set up very efficiently and pleasant. The rooms were comfortable, and lots of care was taken to make sure we had everything we needed. This was a really nice place to stay, and we would definitely come here again.

Great breakfast! Friendly staff! Very clean. Easy walk to city center.

Bathroom and shower. No shower curtain or enclosure. Water sprays on floor and makes it very slippery. Also, the bathroom gets all steamed up and stays that way for quite a while. Needs a better exhaust fan. Parking is hit or miss.

Ihana B&B - majoitus lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta. Vaikka lähellä oli vilkas tie, oli majoituspaikka sisäpihalla ja sinne ei kuulunut liikenteen melu. Paikka oli tunnelmallinen ja palvelu erittäin ystävällinen. Aamiainen valittiin päivää ennen ja se oli runsas ja maittava.

Accueil très chaleureux. Chambre parfaitement propre, fonctionnelle et agréable. Tout est bien pensé pour nous sentir à l’aise. Le petit déjeuner proposé est très bien organisé avec plusieurs options, très bon et copieux. La localisation est parfaite pour découvrir la ville et en même temps être un peu à l’extérieur de l’afflux touristique. Merci !

Une petite étagère pour mettre les produits de beauté dans la salle de bain serait un plus, mais c’est un détail :)

La proprietaria molto disponibile. C'era il parcheggio privato x l'auto. Ottima la colazione con possibilita' di scelta. Un ambiente molto accogliente.

Il letto matrimoniale un po' stretto, pero' c'era la possibilita' di usare anche un letto singolo.

Angela, her husband and staff are delightful hosts. Friendly and informative, even gave me a map and explainations to locate attractions locally worth seeing. I have no hesitation in recommending this homely little gem of a find, to stay. Fantastic Irish breakfast too Wonderful!

The staff were wonderful and very helpful during our stay.

We stayed in room 21. They need curtains in there to block out the light(the blinds aren't enough). They were kind to provide an us eye masks but would be better with dark curtains.

El preu, és l'allotjament més car que hem pagat en tota la nostra ruta per Irlanda. Hem pagat a meitat de preu altres llocs amb les mateixes condicions. A l'habitació vam trobar a faltar millors cortines per evitar que entrés la llum.

Host was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location is excellent, even though just tucked in off a main road, it was very quiet and could barely hear traffic. 10 min walk to city centre. 2 min walk to local Tesco. Highly recommend.

This place was a real find, lovely room, comfy beds, great shower (most important). Very accommodating couple. The Irish breakfast was one of the best I've had and came out piping hot, highly recommend. My friend had the pancakes which also got the thumbs up, not the stodgy think ones more like crepes, yum. I would recommend to anyone wanting a convenient place in Galway

Very nice location in a beautiful stylish and comfortable house, near the beautiful university and easy walking distance to everything. The host absolutely helpful and kind. La struttura non è recentissima, ma dotata di tutti i confort e anche di più (es. Presa usb per caricare i cellulari in caso di mancanza di adattatore). La posizione è ottima, fuori dal caos del centro che resta comunque raggiungibile 10 minuti a piedi

I had a fantastic experience; the location and room were perfect for me. Angela and the staff are wonderful and welcoming. I very highly recommend to book here! Location: It's set just on the border of the main busy shopping/pub area, only a short walk from most attractions. I could shop, see the sights, get some great food, and then easily walk back to Ash Grove House to drop off my shopping or take a little quiet rest. Then back out again. Room: I stayed in the small front room. It's bright, cozy, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and modern. I find small spaces comforting so it was a relaxing place for me. There was also a surprising amount of storage for the room's size. The breakfast is wonderful; Angela is happy to accommodate your needs! I'm vegan and it can be slim pickings at most B&Bs but there is a gorgeous fruit breakfast here and Angela stocks oat milk as well.

This is the best guesthouse we have ever stayed at. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. The full Irish breakfast was well cooked and very tasty.

Wonderful stay, perfect location, and truly lovely hosts. We were visiting before my niece starts university in Galway and they were so kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Great B&B. Fabulous location, just a 10-minute walk from the city centre. Basic room, with very comfortable beds, spotless ensuite bathroom. Fabulous, piping-hot breakfast in the morning - beats hotel breakfasts hands-down. Warm welcome from the owner and her helpful staff. We will definitely return at the earliest opportunity.

There were four of us, and the room(especially the bathroom)was very small. There was no air conditioning, so it was very hot.
