Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Unglaublich spannendes Projekt im nirgendwo. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und durften den Künstler in seiner Werkstatt besuchen. Abends haben ein paar Leute Musik gemacht. Entspannte Atmosphäre, super Aussicht. Sehr besonders! Tolles Frühstück und Abendessen.

Reviewed May 4, 2026The art space is located in a beautiful setting. I loved everything about it. We were greeted with mint tea on the rooftop. Staff is wonderful and welcoming. It is a short drive from Ait Benhaddou. The rooms were clean and great style. The entire place is laid back and stylish with a cool personal atmosphere.
The bathroom could have a bit more storage space and maybe a bigger mirror in the room would be nice. But nothing major.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026This is a wonderful place to stay. They have a beautiful terrace overlooking the valley and mountains. The service is friendly and good, and all spaces are very clean. You can take lovely walks in the surrounding area, and it’s a 7-minute drive from the extremely touristy Aït Ben Haddou. Unfortunately, we missed the live performance on Saturday evening because we left on Saturday morning.

La vue depuis la terrasse est à couper le souffle, et le petit déjeuner est un des plus copieux qu’on ait eu au Maroc. La chambre était belle, confortable et très propre. On reviendra !

Besonders beeindruckend ist die Dachterrasse, die bei gutem Wetter im März einen wunderschönen Blick auf die schneebedeckten Berge bietet. Der vorhandene Föhn im Badezimmer war sehr praktisch. Auf meiner Reise durch Marroko gab es selten einen. Ein weiteres Highlight war der ausgesprochen leckere Cappuccino beim Frühstück!

No es solo un hotel, es una experiencia completa que combina alojamiento con galería de arte de una forma muy especial. Desde el momento en que llegas, el trato es excepcional. El equipo es increíblemente atento, cercano y siempre pendiente de que estés a gusto. Nos hicieron incluso una visita guiada por el espacio, explicándonos las obras. Tuvimos la suerte de conocer al propio artista, lo que hizo la experiencia aún más especial. El hotel está cuidado al detalle: cada rincón está decorado con muchísimo gusto y personalidad. Se nota que hay un trabajo y un cariño enorme detrás. Además, coincidimos con una cena común para los huéspedes y una pequeña fiesta en el rooftop, lo que creó un ambiente muy divertido y diferente. La cena estaba exquisita y el desayuno muy completo. En resumen, uno de esos sitios que hacen que el viaje sea memorable. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.

Petit déjeuner sur la terrasse avec une vue magnifique, un vrai bon café, un bon thé marocain, un jus d'orange frais, c'était formidable. Un hôtel à voir absolument si vous aimez l'originalité d'un endroit fait par et plutôt pour des artistes
La climatisation réversible pour chauffer avait un peu de mal à faire son travail mais sinon c'était parfait !

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026The location was excellent, very close to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Benhaddou. The area is peaceful and quiet, with a stunning view from the terrace. The breakfast was fantastic, with delicious coffee and freshly squeezed juice. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming — we even met the owner, who is a wonderful person and a talented artist. The room was clean, well-organized, and beautifully designed. There was hot water and air conditioning. A great addition is the common area, where you can relax and sit by the fireplace on cooler evenings. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and hope to return during the season.

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026We found this guesthouse to be good value for money, with friendly people and absolutely stunning views of the valley. We loved the artsy vibe, and the dinner (chicken tagine) was also excellent. We would love to visit when it's warmer and there is live music on the rooftop as we imagine there to be a great energy about the property.
We would stay here again happily, so this is just some small suggestions for improvement to keep the facilities at the same level of the style and spectacular views. - the communal area was freezing cold the fire needs to be on in the mornings, aswell as the evenings with ideally some more options for warmth in winter. - the bedroom needs a mirror (the only mirror is in the bathroom and the shower steams it up for too long and it's difficult for us ladies to use it and get ready) - the water drainage in the bathroom does not work. From the moment we arrived the shower did not drain water, and the sink was not draining either and after one night stay was almost full to the top. - coffee at breakfast was not good. It was almost entirely milk.

Timing for us wasn’t the best. Staff was busy preparing for an event and we felt a little in the way. We asked for coffee in the morning as we had to leave before breakfast, but unfortunately it was not coordinated with the morning staff. Not a problem, but just a small minor point.

Dakterras met prachtig uitzicht waar we lekker eten kregen en nadien nog een concertje, echt genieten! Ontbijt ook op dakterras en zéér uitgebreid. Rondleiding gekregen door het gebouw en de kunst kunnen bekijken, echt een leuke en originele plek!

Hier wird alles mehr aus einem künstlerischem Blickwinkel betrachtet, upcycling ist das Stichwort, sehr kreativ und schön. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, auch unsere wäsche wurde für uns gewaschen. Leider waren wir nur auf einen Zwischenstopp hier.

C’est un concept, une résidence d’artistes magnifiquement décorée, que le propriétaire a à cœur d’entretenir comme un lieu de convivialité, de créativité et de partage. Nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueillies par toutes les personnes qui y travaillent. La chambre était très confortable et bien décorée. La terrasse bénéficie d’une superbe vue sur la région, dans un calme absolu. Nous avons même eu la chance d’avoir un petit concert de musique traditionnelle le soir : nous avons passé un moment incroyablement authentique. Enfin, la localisation est parfaite, à 7 minutes en voiture d’Ait Ben Haddou

Reviewed Jan 9, 2023The space is beautifully decorated with Aissa's art and tastefully curated items from all over the world. The terrace is beautiful at sunset and in the morning, perfectly fitting for chilling after a day of exploring at Ait Ben Haddou and for a replenishing breakfast. Most amazing thing are the people here - both Aissa's friends who help him run the place, and the other like-minded guests. We had a nice dinner there made by Aissa's friends and just hung out together in the shared space for hours chatting with everyone - really relaxing and chill vibe. The room is so well integrated with the shared space that it really felt like my own home even though we only stayed for one night. Last and not least, the room was modern, clean, well equipped, and just felt like home. Oh, and Aissa has the cutest cats!
I wish we could have stayed longer. I hope Aissa managed to fix the shattered fireplace glass :p

Food prepared for both dinner and breakfast was excellent! The location is perfect: not directly immersed in the more touristic area, hence very quiet, but very well connected and easily accessible by following the main road. The property overlooks the beautiful valley.

Fantastic idea - art gallery, art and music focused, re used materials, these guys have a great idea for what this place will become. Food was lovely, and prepared last minute for us. Views from the terrace and the three cats were a delight!

Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The story of Aissa Joud who made this place happen is truly inspiring too. Highly recommended!

Reviewed Nov 6, 2022Staying here was our biggest luck. The accomodation is located in a small village next to Ait Ben Haddou in a very quiet and beautiful area. The Hosts were very welcoming and we even had the oppurtunity to listen to some live Berber music of the hosts and his friends. The whole interior of the accomodation is built by recycled materials and looks very beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely amazing. We can only recommend this location for your next stay and also highly recommend visiting the Kasbah in the village where the accomodation is located.
