Pink Granite Garden of Ireland

The place was beautifully decorated and furnished, and well supplied with all you could need. There were lots of thoughtful touches, both practical and aesthetic. It was out in the country, peaceful and quiet, which was exactly what I wanted. Ken was friendly and helpful and told me really interesting information about the history. (I left my charger behind and they posted it on to me. Much appreciated.)

You have to go outdoors to access the adjacent kitchen/garden room (where the microwave and sink are). This means putting shoes back on, and a coat if it's raining. That said, it was a small inconvenience when set against how lovely the place was. I had a bit of difficulty with phone contact- might have been a signal issue?

Perfectly clean, comfortable and ideal for a wedding in Ballybeg house.

It’s a long drive down a farm path and while the host gave directions we still found it a little tricky to find.

Beautiful place. Had everything we needed. Litreally right beside Ballybeg house so was ideal for the wedding we were attending.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig, sauber und mit viel Liebe hergerichtet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.

Very comfortable apartment, very tastefully arranged.

The kitchen facilities didn't include a hob.

I really liked the welcome that Ken and Maria had for me. The apartment was spotless and beautifully appointed. Every need was met, a patio, cushions and even a shawl if the evening was cool. And what luxury, a duck and down duvet. There were some very tempting treats left for me. The stove offered a most inviting glow. I had the crème de la crème accommodation in Tinahealy where I was attending a wedding. Unbelievably the Pink Granite is just adjacent to the wedding venue.

The Pink Granite Garden is truly a special piece of paradise in a stunning location and we feel so lucky to have found this beautiful situation. The cottage is clean comfortable and in every way convenient while being gracious and full of olde world charm. The gardens are exquisite and the peace incredible. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful few nights.

We loved everything about it. Comfortable and well-appointed, peaceful, beautiful surroundings and close to most attractions around Wicklow. Especially loved the little courtyard as we were lucky enough to have good weather and enjoy suppers outdoors.

Ken and Maria were absolutely fabulous the kindest nicest professional people with such interesting local knowledge and history there hospitality is unmatched there was fresh milk in the fridge and tea , also a coffee machine and tea cakes what a lovely surprise the accommodation is modern comfortable and spotless it’s beautiful the surroundings are stunning such a fabulous place we really had a wonderful stay thank you so much Ken and Maria
