I can only say that it is by far my favourite hotel in the Philipines. Staff, instalations, everything ❤️❤️❤️ Ideal hotel for diving or resting in a meravellous location. If you only do snorkelling is also the ideal placer full of turtles, sea stars, beautiful fish and incredible coral gardens so near, sardines balls are also very near.

The rooms were clean, the resort peaceful. We loved sitting by the water looking out at the view. Close enough to town to walk, for shops, restaurants and activities. The staff were great, they met every request, were welcoming and polite. Lovely to have Sky to welcome you back after a day away.

Everything. The location is great, so close to the coral reef and you can see many turtles only doing snorkelling. The owners and staff slways ready to assist you in anything you need. Everything is clesn, tidy, well maintained, etc. Rooms are very confortable and you have everything you need, even kettle and place to dry your bathsuits . All rooms have a terrace with chairs and table. It is my favourite place in the Philipines ♥️♥️♥️ I did some divings with them, and I just got my Open Water, but I was feeling safe diving with Inhee, the owner, she was teaching me tips how to move and react while diving. It was very helpfull. I will get the advaced course with them next year. Nothing compares to them. And their installations, boat, equipment, etc are out of this world. They make everything easier for an open water like me. No doubt, I learnt a lot with them. Thank you

Das Shuim Dive Resort ist absolut weiterzuempfehlen! Wir hatten dort eine wundervolle Zeit. Ursprünglich hatten wir nur 3 Nächte und 3 Tauchgänge gebucht, doch es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir spontan weitere 3 Nächte verlängert haben. Außerdem haben wir uns kurzfristig entschieden, den Advanced Open Water Kurs bei Inhee und Kiho zu machen, weil wir uns bei ihnen von Anfang an unglaublich wohl und bestens aufgehoben gefühlt haben. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend, das Essen sehr lecker, das gesamte Personal unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die Organisation, die Lage, wie auch die Zimmer und die gesamte Atmosphäre im Resort waren einfach top. Vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Zeit – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Waterfront access to snorkel. The eating area overlooks the waterfront giving it a calming feel. The staff (Myla) was so kind & caring. We arrived to checkin traumatised by our Taxi Driver & Myla immediately picked up on our stresses. Got us in to our room & escorted me to the waterfront to help calm my nerves. Then checked on my welfare each day. The owners were so lovely & wanted to make sure our stay was memorable by organising tours & welcoming us to their Korean BBQ dinner

・掛け布団がシーツカバーのみ。ちゃんとした布団やタオルケットではないのでやっぱり寝心地が悪い。 ・宿〜メインストリートまではかなりの田舎道。日没後に一人で出歩くのは躊躇われる。夜ごはんは宿で、もしくは日没前に済ませて帰ってくるか、バイクタクシーを使うのが良さそう。

This hotel is absolutely worth recommending! The overall environment is impeccably clean. The floors are spotlessly bright, so pristine that it makes sleeping feel pure and soothing. The location is unbeatable — the beach is right at the doorstep, offering stunning sunset views anytime. The dinner is delicious with thoughtful service. Dining while enjoying the evening breeze and sunset glow is incredibly pleasant and relaxing, perfectly embodying the joy of a vacation. The owners are warm, considerate, and attentive. They go out of their way to help with any issues. Overall, the experience is fantastic, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The hosts were very kind and helped with everything we asked them for; the staff were also kind. The rooms were clean and tidy, located away from the noise of the main street. This little dog is so cute. Unforgettable sunsets.

The crew were very friendly and welcoming. The view was amazing—we even had the chance to see three beautiful sunsets. The breakfast was good, and I highly recommend it.

The road to get to the resort

An absolutely amazing place! The views are gorgeous and the garden is so well-kept. Every staff member we met was kind and helpful. We loved the fact that you can get an American breakfast as late as 6 PM—perfect for a relaxing schedule. We were especially grateful for their help when our flight was pushed back last minute; they allowed us a late check-out which made a stressful situation much easier. Also, a small but important detail: the hot water was plentiful and consistent .

It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the main street, which is something to keep in mind, but the peace and quiet make it worth it.

The staff was super friendly, the location is by the beach and you are doing breakfast by the beach with sound of ocean. The owner are very sweet, they know it was our special vacation so they decorated the room for us.

Location from market area and the main beach is a 10-15 min walk, if that is ok with you it is amazing.

Our stay here was relaxing and restoring. The resort is seafront and just 10 minute walk from the restaurants and shops. The host Inhee was always helpful and accommodating with all our request. Rooms are clean and functional. Super recommended.

Отель в 10 минутах неспешной ходьбы от центра Тихо, есть собственный небольшой пляжик (правда, там мелко, т.к. край рифа метрах в 300 от берега и поэтому нормально купаться можно только в прилив). Но в отлив лучше потратить 10 минут дойти до основной улицы, выйти там к морю и нырнуть прямо в косяк сардин в 20 метрах от берега. Лайфхак: перед выходом к морю пройти чуть направо до June dive resort, там отличное кафе на рифе и можно удобно расположиться перед заплывом и после него.

Lief en zorgzaam personeel en eigenaren. Locatie lekker rustig en toch dicht genoeg bij het dorp. Scooter verhuur is vlakbij. Ontbijtjes heerlijk en het Koreaans eten subliem. Kamer ruim genoeg , goed matras maar bed kraakte wel. Vanaf de guesthouse was het makkelijk snorkelen met klein strandje erbij. Kan het zeker aanraden.

Это плюс и минус, находится в некой отдаленности от оживленной улицы, на территории слышно только петухов, пешком минут 15 до Panagsama Beach. Безопасно ходить, но много бродячих собак.

Wunderschöner, liebevoll gestalteter Ort zum Entspannen und Schnorcheln. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und sauber. Der Service und das Essen ist fantastisch! Probiert unbedingt das koreanische Dinner. An diesem Ort kann man wirklich zur Ruhe kommen, ich würde dieses Resort jederzeit wieder buchen und es ist eine große Empfehlung.

The location is not in the center, but it’s very quiet. It’s about a 15-minute walk to town. There is a private beach next to the place. The host is very nice. We had a great stay.

Een geheime, rustige parel in het drukke Moalboal. Geen overlast van ongevingsgeluid, een privé strand voor de deur en lieve staff die veel aan het schoonmaken is. Daardoor is alles brandschoon. Zeker een aanrader voor iedereen die even de stilte wilt opzoeken in een mooie, natuurlijke omgeving met een goed onderhouden tuin en heerlijk snorkel mogelijkheden doordat je meteen toegang hebt tot de zee.

Keine Möglichkeit Kleinigkeiten zu essen und grundsätzlich keine große Essensauswahl. Es muss auch bereits in der Früh bestellt werden, damit man etwas bekommt. Etwas abseits vom Ort gelegen, aber noch zu Fuß erreichbar

Das Shium Dive Resort hatte eine sehr gute Lage, da es etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum liegt und somit ruhig ist. Außerdem liegt es direkt am Meer, hier kann man tolle Sonnenuntergänge beobachten. Das Personal ist super nett und die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Außerdem kann man in der Unterkunft die Klamotten direkt waschen.

Es ist etwas hellhörig. Die Klimaanlage war laut.

It was an absolutely fantastic stay here at the Shuim Dive Resort! The hosts, Kiho and Inhee are incredibly kind and polite people. They did everything to make feel us home. They were very enthusiastic to guide us during our stay, always helping and suggesting something. We were so happy there, so decided to stay longer and Kiho and Inhee provided us with a better room, but for the same price! I was studying diving with Kiho (and he was a super professional master, you can be sure you're 100% safe with him!), but he also allowed my wife to go with us and snorkel with all the equipment around the boat for free! During the diving Kiho took photos and videos, which he kindly shared with me after. When we were going to check out, Kiho called the tricycle diver in advance and we were able to go to the Moalboal bus stop for much more reasonable price than we had before! You must try the Korean meals they serve! It's so delicious! We ordered breakfasts and lunches every day! And it doesn't cost much at all! As for the hotel itself. The stuff are as perfect as the hosts. Also warm and welcoming. The rooms are quite simple and basic, but clean. AC works well, beds are comfortable. WiFi is fast. What else do you need? The location is about 10mins walk from the "main" street with restaurants, stores, etc. BUT this is also an advantage, because the place is absolutely quiet and relaxing w/o that hustle As far i left the Shuim Dive resort, i immediately felt a bit sad. Probably, for the first time in my life, because it was unforgettable vacation! I will definitely come back here! Thank you so much Kiho, Inhee and all the stuff!

I liked everything about my stay here — I even extended twice! :) The property is really beautiful, and the room is comfortable and super clean. They even provide a laundry service. The Korean food is amazing — I will miss it! The staff is incredibly kind, and Kiho and Inhee are great hosts. I went diving every day with Kiho and I loved it. You can trust him and his knowledge without any hesitation. Also, being able to go from my bed straight to the boat is such a great feeling. My stay couldn’t have been better. Thank you very much!

A peaceful paradise for divers and nature lovers! I stayed for 5 nights and absolutely loved every moment. The dive center is beautifully secluded—just a 10-minute walk from the busy tourist area, yet it feels like a peaceful sanctuary. You’re surrounded by nature, with a stunning view and a small beach right next door. The owners, Kiho and Inhee, along with their amazing team, truly go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. The Korean food was delicious and plentiful, and the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. I finally got to do the sardine dive I’d been dreaming of for years, and it was even better than I hoped! Inhee took wonderful photos and videos of the dive, capturing the magic of swimming among the sardines. Even though the visibility wasn’t perfect due to the weather, the experience was simply breathtaking. Thank you for making my stay so special—I’ll definitely be back! 💙🐠 And Kiho, I won't forget to get in touch once I am in Southern Leyte for my dives next year :)

I like the staff and the owner of the property, they were very warm and helpful. I even arrived earlier than my booking as I lost track of the dates but they still accommodated me even if I arrived at 12 midnight. There's actually nothing that I didn't like. The place was clean, quiet, location was a few minutes away from the party scene and the staff were so friendly.

Friendly owners and super friendly staff. Nice location by the sea, and about 10 mins walk into town. Sky, the dog was adorable. Scooter hire nearby to visit White Beach up the road. Diving with Sardine bomb was a great experience. Kiho, the dive instructor shared his photos and videos with us, which we really appreciated. Korean BBQ dinner was really good too.

This was low season, so everything was pretty quiet. The staff was fabulous and there was confusion with the dates I booked but the owner was very understanding and accommodating. The owners also stepped in when my taxi was over an hour late and they found me a last minute alternate ride. They went above and beyond to help me with this!

Sehr freundliches Personal. Direkt am Meer gelegen. Ruhig, man konnte aber in wenigen Gehminuten ins Meer Zentrum laufen. Die koreanischen Gastgeber versuchen den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten.

The staff was very nice and helpful, they even repaired my pants after I ripped them. You also get a beautiful little beach infront of the resort, so you can enjoy breakfast with a beautiful view.

Genuine, generous and kind highly skilled hosts and diving instructors. My son gained his Open Water Diver with Kiho and Inhee. They were very capable instructors who took a great deal of care to make sure that our experience was safe and rewarding. They also supported me to renew my diving after many years away. I was quite uncertain, however with their encouragement and support I was able to dive with my son, something I am very grateful for. The staff at Shuim were all wonderful, they could not do enough for us. Plus, a beautiful quiet, private beach, away from the hustle and bustle of Moalboal, yet less than 10 minutes walk along the shore (at low tide), or the road, to the shops and restaurants. I cannot recommend Shuim Resort enough, for diving, or simply a really special place to stay.

Everything. Amazing place. Every detail charges with calmness and comfort. The owners are very friendly and nice people. The resort workers are always ready to drop everything and fulfill any of your prizes. The fact that the resort is far from the city does not bother at all. You can rent a scoter two hundred meters away. The prices are 2 times cheaper than in the capital. Kiho is a great instructor. He teaches not only diving but also careful attitude to the underwater world and equipment. In general, this place has exceeded my expectations many times over. I will definitely come back here.

The air conditioner in my room was a bit noisy. But knowing the owner can say that it will be fixed in short time.

Cozy and peaceful little resort a short walk from the main town. It is run by a lovely Korean couple who offer diving trips. Right by crystal clear waters where you can snorkel. Excellent Korean food!

The resort was amazing and the dives were so fun. I felt safe and our instructor also made sure we had a great experience at all times. I would recommend this dive resort to anyone looking to enjoy the Philippines and dive!. It’s close by to everything and has a private beach that we even hung out and saw turtles.

- Location perfect! Close to the center and yet nice and quiet. Private beach section is a highlight - Rooms nice and large and simple but well equipped - top price-performance ratio - Best hosts and staff ever. So friendly and helpful. They made everything possible for us and never asked for anything in return. For example, we were allowed to stay longer in the room because our cab to the airport didn't arrive until 2pm.

Great accomodation with direct access to the sea (house reef great for snorkeling). Really relaxing atmosphere in the garden and on the veranda with a fridge available for cold drinks. The town is accessible by foot (short walk) and has some nice restaurants. Scooter rental is just arround de corner from the accomodation. We went diving with the owners of the resort (3-dive package using their own boats directly from the shore infront of the accomodation, with only guests of the accom. and including amazing korean lunch after the 3rd dive). We had an amazing time and would reccomend to anyone visiting moalboal!

We had an amazing time in the Shuim! It’s a bit further away from the center, but we actually liked this as it’s much more calm and quiet. You can walk or scooter easily to the center. We also did a few dives with them and this was super well organized. The Korean lunch afterwards was great too! You can go snorkeling from the resort too, we spotted turtles in their backyard :) Would come back!

I stayed at Shuim for 2 nights as I wanted to do a couple of dives in Moalboal. After booking this accommodation, the hosts took care of everything. The dives, my transfer, meals, everything was arranged. They were very fast when replying to my questions. Upon arrival I was amazed by how sweet they are. They arranged everything according to my wishes and schedule and they were flexible too when it came to the dives. These are definitely the sweetest persons I’ve met during my trip. The dives were amazing, I went with Irheen, she was so sweet, very professional and educated! They prepared a really nice lunch afterwards. In the afternoon you can easily chill at the premises and enjoy a beautiful and calm sunset. I’ve had a great time here!

It was right on the water with private beach access which was perfect for tanning and snorkeling. The owners were super friendly and helped us with our travels. Laundry was really cheap and fast.

Our hosts were fantastic. Imi and Key run this great resort. They are also 2 very experienced and knowledgeable dive instructors with over 5000 dives ! They have lots of local knowledge and even took complimentary photos and videos whilst I was diving ! The resort has its on beach and you can snorkel here. The food was excellent. Amazing Korean food which is some of the best we have eaten. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for anyone.

Bring ear plugs as the cockerels are a bit noisy in the mornings 🤣.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff and owners really helpful, food excellent. Snorkelling was great off private beach area. Easy enough to walk to town but scooter rental really cheap and Loys bike hire was only 3 mins walk away. Would stay again.

The resort was peaceful & quiet. We were greeted by the owner upon our arrival and the owner couple bid us goodbye when we left which was sweet of them.

The owners are Korean so on their food menu is just korean cuisine.

the owners are sweet and welcoming. the place is quiet and peaceful. located close enough to the center to get there walking but far enough to enjoy the quiet and the sea front. they offer lunch and dinner but its a one option only korean dish. we had it 3 times and enjoyed it. if you are a diver they organize dives in small groups only for hotel guests. they both are divemasters so you will be in good hands to discover the sardine run and other wonders.

In one line - we thought the reviews were too good to be true, but all they are all true. One of the best places we have ever stayed at and we can't wait to be back! We had an amazing time at Shuim Dive Resort. The owners and their staff are friendly and kind, and they made us feel like guests in their homes. They themselves have an amazing life story and they would gladly share that with you over dinner. We went swimming and snorkelling everyday (they provide all the equipment you'd need, for free) and spent a good amount of time just hanging out in the garden, having a beer, watching the ocean. The walk to the main street is super easy so we tried out a handful of restaurants, yet it is far enough that we sleep wonderfully every night in peace and quiet. And if you need tours or bikes, there is a provider right at the corner of the street. They had the most adorable dog and cats, and the owners are always around to make sure you have everything you need. We were even sad to leave at the end :(

This place is one of a kind. Only the most lucky and worthy people get to stay here. The owners are charming and view is breathtaking.

The boss is a Korean couple who are very warm and friendly. I love the scenery of the hotel bar the most. In the evening, I sit at the bar and enjoy the sea breeze. Outside the bar is the ocean. When I went snorkeling, I saw many starfish and sea urchins. The hotel also offers scuba diving, but unfortunately, I didn't go diving with the boss because I had already arranged activities before coming. There are many puppies and kittens in the hotel yard, they are very cute. Please don't hurt them
