Par Sands Coastal Holiday park

It was quite and clean and loved having the beach so close to walk my whippets on.

The only real thing that let the caravan down was no coat hooks to hang coats etc up and no fitted towel rails in the bathroom, so no where to hang them to dry.

The accommodation was lacking cooking equipment and no coffee machine or cafetiere which was very disappointing! Frying pan needs replacing and not enough pots and pans. We had to buy a small cafetiere in the end. Kitchen tea towels would have been helpful. there was also no laundry rack to hang wet towels and swimsuits so we had to hang over balcony bannister??

Location is great not bad value for what we needed. Staff pleasant.

Beds rock hard. Sofa bed awful. This was a dog friendly one yet the lounge carpet had a load of dog fur on it , our dog doesn't shed as he has hair not fur so im not sure what the extra 50 quid is for? I assumed it would be so it gets extra cleaning post pet stay? Also no hoover in caravan just a dust pan and brush making it hard to keen clean yourself. The staff were very good at briefing us on not leaving dogs alone in the home, perhaps they could also tell people to not let thier dogs just bark at will as well as this seemed to be a common theme with the neighbours starting at 7 am!

Had very stale cooking smell which was not pleasant and no place or veranda to sit outside and it was supposed to be gold accommodations

The restaurant and bar closed at 17:00 which was very disappointing. When we looked at the events board it was all for the owners not for guests. Therefore not much to do.

Cushions and carpet looked and felt grubby, could do with a deep clean. Knives in block were dirty. Pots and pans too small. Outside steps not swept.

A beautiful place, very clean and well-maintained. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely prepared. The location is perfect, just a short distance from the beach and close to other lovely towns and attractions. The price was very reasonable for the quality and location. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to others!

The staff was helpful and gave us some extras when we talked to them. Because of our mistake in our booking we didn’t have a decking seating area , so staff was understanding and delivered some outdoor chairs and table.

Lovely park, well situated for us. Very clean caravan with everything we needed.

We booked late so the cost was pretty high.

Everything was perfect. Staff was helpful, we received a welcome package and a goodbye package. The caravan was comfortable and clean, the holiday park was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. We only tried two services other than the caravan itself, the playground and the laundry both were good. I can highly recommend

We were not able to use the pool facilities,unfriendly lady was not helpful at all,gave us few wrong information which made impossible for us to use the pool.Caravan was too small for 8 people,it would be ok for 4.The beach is close but very smelly,plenty seaweeds everywhere,not for swimming or sunbathing.

Normally with Booking.com properties have towels but had to pay additional fees at this location.

It was a lovely clean tidy site. So close to an amazing beach, easy access to local shops, the caravan was clean and tidy, and had most amenities.

The doors in the rooms and shower could have hooks for towels and dressing gowns, and suggest to bring a bath mat for the shower floor.

No decking, no bottom sheet on bed. Very tight caravan. Caravans very close to each other. Nothing to do on site. Beach full of seaweed.. Booked for three nights, left after one, wasn't even asked if we were ok when handed keys back! Won't be going again. Better sites close by

Location was ideal for the Eden Project. Caravan was spotless. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Disappointed that there wasnt a welcome pack with tea, coffee etc. Offering a start pack with essentials qould be a good idea as there was nothing in the kitchen. No mattress covers and sheet wasnt fitted. No hairdrier or iron available. No outside seating.

It’s a nice lodge in a good location, only 5 mins walk to the beach. Kitchen was good and living area spacious.

It would help to provide some basics like towels and toiletries. Also some cleaning items such as hoover or brush.

The bed mattress was awful, not comfortable at all. TV could have been bigger. Didn't like the gas oven would prefer electric.

The caravan was good from the kitchen forward.

Bedroom's very cramped bed's poor unable to sleep Hot water stopped working whilst in shower ended up with a cold shower!!!!!!!!!

This is a lovely site, very near the beach. The small swimming pool on site was free to use (45m slot on the hour every hour) and at the time we went (early June), we had it pretty much to ourselves. The customer services were helpful. There is a charge for wi-fi: we selected the 4-day option which was roughly £15 for all devices, and it worked well. The fridge freezer was much bigger than I've seen in other mobile homes so that would be helpful for anyone staying a week or more. The welcome pack we received on checking in contained a dish cloth and washing up liquid. There was soap and a toilet roll provided. These were all more than adequate for 2 of us for 4 nights but you should probably bring your own if staying longer or with more people. You will need to bring towels and tea-towels. Recycling including food waste on site. A bag for each was provided at the start but we would have needed more if we'd stayed longer than 4 days so I suggest bringing those. Bedding and mobile home clean, shower hot and powerful! Our mobile home also had a big TV and loads of DVDs so we worked our way through some of those in the evenings! The Eden Project - well worth a few hours walking around - was about 15 mins away by car, although some info in the accommodation said there was a bus nearby that we could have taken there. Charlestown is a lovely little port about 15 mins away by car and we got a fab cream tea there. Tesco superstore is 10-15 mins drive so we were able to get most of our food there, and we later picked up some milk from the nearby Co-op which is walkable from the site. Our friends had recommended going to Fowey but we didn't get a chance this time. Good value for money at the time we went so I would consider coming back here again and exploring the area a bit more.

Saucepans on the small side and I think only two lids (although one didn't fit any of the pans) and the frying pan was fairly warped. Consequently the accommodation steamed up a bit, even with the extractor fan on and window open! Cutlery, crockery and utensils all good though. A couple of people a bit noisy walking back at night but otherwise June was a relatively quiet time to go.

We had no TV for the whole of our stay. We did report it and they changed the statelite dish but to no avail!

Spotlessly clean and modern caravan. Very spacious and two toilets. The kitchen was very well equipped with an oven , microwave , hob and fridge freezer. The park is very well maintained and set in a beautiful spot very close to the beach. The beautiful sound of bird song greets you every morning and serenades you to sleep in the evening. Close to the South West coastal walk and public transport.

No towels or toiletries which would have been handy as we were travelling on public transport and packing light. Also I had messaged the property on several occasions asking about the towels and other issues and no one got back to me or answered when we had left .

Loved everything

The park was well managed, location was great and easy to get to other places. The amenities were wonderful and our grandchildren loved the pool mini golf and tennis courts.

The beds in our unit were very uncomfortable, even our slightly built 8 year old complained she could feel the springs in her mattress. Also bathroom could have done with a hook for at least 1 towel. There was no real hanging space for wet clothes and we had a lot of rain the week of our vacation.

Er is alleen een felle lamp aan het plafond, ik had graag een schemerlamp gezien. Op de slaapkamer kan je het licht alleen uit doen aan de andere kant van de kamer, dus niet bij het bed. Niet onoverkomelijk natuurlijk… oh en het douche water liep niet helemaal goed door. Maar als je niet zo lang doucht is het geen probleem (voor mij dus niet)

Fantastic location in Par, the Park was quiet, very well-maintained and easy to get to. Check-in was very easy, staff were extremely friendly.

Queen bed was quite soft. Personal preference, but prefer firmer bed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful across the park. The location is beautiful with a few shops and cafes close by.

The single beds aren't very comfortable and if you fidget in your sleep, the sheet comes off easily, so you're on a plastic-like surface. Not very nice at all, this was the ONLY negative

1st time stayed in such a property, I had a better experience than I thought. You have everything you need for a holiday home. Like:Clean, fully equipped kitchen, 2 toilets, central heating,location(far enough for quiet retreat and near enough for nearby city for shopping, swimming pool for kids, laundrette, EV charging.

Though, it has nothing to do with par sands, beach could be cleaner. For parents with kids, play area could be better

Staff were excellent, everything was there for a great holiday accommodation was much better than I thought it be Highly recommended

The property was well maintained and staff were very friendly. The swimming pool was very good and the area is maintained very neat and clean only issue was with internet keeps disconnecting .. rest all was good had nice stay

We love coming back time and time again to Par visiting family and your caravans are just wonderful your staff are friendly and always on hand.The caravan was lovely and we loved that we had 2 toilets loads of room for our family. We love the swimming pool and the freedom to just be near a wonderful beach Thank you again for a lovely stay see you again soon.

We don't have a bad word to say but if we did have to say anything my children say bigger single beds and the swimming pool open longer

Place was fantastic very clean an so spacious we were working in the area stayed for 4 nights would definitely return with my family for a week away

The bed was very uncomfortable and very little room to move around the bed.

Everything, beautiful caravan and the site was very close to the beach.The train station was walkable about 20 minutes.The staff were lovely and helpful!

The mobile home was adequate, fairly well equipped but there was no furniture to sit on outside. It didn’t have a deck but at least a few chairs and a table to sit outside on given the good weather would have been nice!

Totally misleading information on booking. We booked this property on account of the pool which was only open from 10 until 3 for non owners - so it was open too late to visit when you were doing a day trip and closed too early for you to get back. Likewise the restaurant was only open for limited hours, none of this was stated on the booking information. The beach was not cleaned which we were told was part of wildlife area but the large pottery works factory at the far end of the beach was very off putting. We were told all the opening hours were changing the following week but that’s m it much use when our holiday is over

We had a wonderful stay at the park, really cosy and clean holiday home and surroundings. Shops and pubs nearby, and the whole area is super relaxing

Close to places we planned visiting. Property was clean. Nice idea to leave couple of essentials for visitors until they shop. As for utensils etc, everything we needed was available to us.

Main bedroom very small, hardly enough room at side of bed to get in. One side also had a radiator to contend with while trying to get into bed. Used Par cafe onsite, end of holiday, absolutely shocking! I had a light cooked breakfast my husband had a full breakfast, when brought to our table I looked in amazement, hardly any difference! I said to my husband, you're mushrooms are missing, he moved his wafer thin black pudding and there underneath were 4 slices of frazzled mushrooms, inedible!!! Toast wasn't buttered as stated on menu. Cost £25.00 which included 2 teas. Yes I should have complained at the cafe, to be honest I was shocked I thought leave it, but on checking out I mentioned it there, I was assured problem would be passed onto management.

Peaceful time spent with family. No issues.

The cost of the breakfast a bit expensive for the portions or the drinks, tea/coffee I felt should have been included. The quality and service was very good.

The beds were so uncomfortable and so small how they can say it's for 6 people god only knows .we have always fancied staying at par sands holiday park and thought we would give it a try, but it's 1st and probably the last time in one of those vans .it may be just the design of the bedrooms and mattresses that the springs had gone, but every move you make, it wakes your partner up and also dips in the middle, which doesn't help.for a goodnights sleep I'm only glad it was for 3 nights . The rest of the van was comfortable and relaxing. Ohh and no bedside lamps, so don't forget the torch. As the light switch is by the door ...pain

Very good location close to the beach, close to restaurants, very clean throughout the park.

The rooms smelled of dogs and there was dog hair on the beds, there must have been someone with dogs before us, they could rent caravans to people without pets that didn't have dogs, for example.

A really nice site, not too big, wasn't noisy. Had a nice pool on site & a cafe. Close to buses & train station.

Sheets in the main bedroom hadn't been changed at all. 6 or more long thick black hair extensions in the bed & grass at the foot of the bed. Also I booked a swim one night but when I went at the time I'd booked for no one had booked me in & it was fully booked so missed my swim.
